The girls that showed up, arrived on time and were absolutely amazing! So friendly, detail oriented, and worked quickly to get everything cleaner than our actual move in 2 years ago! No attitude at all when I asked them to go over a couple of areas. They finished cleaning a 2 bedroom/2 bath, kitchen, family room, all the appliances in 2.5 hours. We were really excited to try Mia's cleaning services and had high hopes because of all the great reviews. Unfortunately, our experience didn't match what others described. Several areas of our apartment weren't cleaned well, and some weren't cleaned at all. We even sent photos showing spots that were completely untouched and debris still on the floors. When we reached out, we were offered only a small partial refund, which didn't feel like a fair response considering how much was missed. I had Mia's Housekeeping take care of my home today, and I am more than pleased! They definitely pay attention to detail! I requested my quote 2 days ago, and honestly just finalized the booking last night/today. They were able to come out this afternoon! I am so happy they could fit me in because my mom is coming into town Monday, and I head out of town tomorrow. I absolutely LOVED that when I walked in it smelled so clean! This may seem small, but I've tried several cleaning services and it's been so many times I couldn't tell if someone had actually cleaned my place! I could not only visibly see my home was cleaned, but I could smell it as well! I didn't expect much, but my expectations were exceeded. I was looking for a new house keeping service just as a backup and now Mia's housekeeping has officially become my option 1b. Today I had the pleasure of working with Maria and Janice. One thing that I really appreciated outside of my home looking clean is that is smelled clean. I wasn't the overwhelming toxic smell but a pleasant smell that gave me confidence that they took their time. They are also reasonably priced for the size of my home. Most companies were excessive with their pricing especially for someone who keeps their house in order. They didn't haggle prices and they were clear and upfront! I love that. My mom's home needed a lot of work, as she is disabled and have been not able to keep up her home properly recently. I have been diagnosed with cancer, so have been busy coordinating my upcoming surgery and was unable to help too much. I reached out to Mia's and got a quote for a deep clean, $98/hr which includes two cleaners. They told me up front they would call me within the first two hours to let me know if more time was needed and how much more. I already knew they would need more as my moms place was really in need of deep scrubbing. They estimated 6 hours, and they stuck to their estimate. My mom was sending me texts the whole time they were there saying she was so happy, and they were doing an amazing job, and her fridge was white again haha. They not only cleaned the place, I mean they threw out all the old expired food, organized, cleaned every little tiny angel figurine/ Chatzky my mom had on her shelves. I walked into there tonight and just felt the change, not just in the apartment, but in my MOM as a huge burden has been lifted from her shoulders. I needed a backup housekeeper and chose Mia's. I contacted them and explained what I needed. Gave her the number of bedrooms, bathrooms and the current condition of my home ((which was in good condition due to regular cleaning). She quoted me $98.00 per hour, 2 hours minimum. The 2 ladies showed up 1/2 hour late and did not clean well at all. There were areas that was not cleaned and when I pointed it out, her comment was "Oh oh okay". There were areas that was not cleaned at all. The ladies finished in less 2 hours. I was told my rate was $245.00. She tried to over charge me, stating it was due to the condition of my home. I asked what condition my home was in and her reply was, "just pay the $196.00 for now". I would not recommend Mia's Housekeeping read more

I sent out a service request through Yelp last week for house cleaning. Got several responses and price quotes quickly from those who responded and decided to try Mia's Housekeeping. I think I got a good deal for two house keepers that brought their own supplies and equipment. The ladies didn't speak English but were wise enough to use cell phone for translation and ask questions, when they arose. The dispatcher with whom I was texting also relayed information to the ladies for me, which helped facilitate communication between us. These ladies did EVERYTHING!!!! Made my bed =O folded clothes, washed dishes, swiped window sills, organized, mopped, vacuumed, touched everything to wipe it down and dusted!! A well needed deep cleaning done in 3 hours 45 minutes. What's more, I could find everything afterwards too (some cleaners will organize so well, I can't find my stuff for days, lol ) and that's a big plus for me!! I was able to tell the handler to tell the cleaners not to prioritize "organization", focus on cleaning where I live mostly in my house [master bedroom and bathroom, kitchen] and save the lesser areas for last, which they did!! Very happy with my choice!! I know I couldn't done what they did by myself in that short amount of time!! Worth every penny!! =D Don't have time, but you've got the means? I've continued using Mia's House Cleaning Service since the first review I wrote. My kitchen cloth that was accidentally taken was replaced by 2 of equal quality. They also offered to pay for the blinds that were damaged. I didn't accept the payment because the blinds were already slightly damaged, so it wasn't the cleaner's fault, but I do appreciate that they offered. The Cleaning Ladies arrive at the scheduled time, are professional and friendly, do a good job, and complete their work promptly. For these reasons, I'm updating my previous review. She was the ones who I spoke to and she guaranteed great service and that I would not be disappointed. I really like how positive and convincing she was. She was very friendly, gave me pricing and was very clear about what the cleaning included. And let me tell you she was right! I was very happy with the results. The ladies came and finished in less than 4 hours and did an amazing job! They cleaned my blinds , my walls, my kitcben cabinets I saw a HUGE difference. I like how they also wore wraps on their shoes before coming in the house . The house smelled really good. I was very happy I booked the next appointment that same day . There were a few minor issues that didn't impact the overall experience. There were some areas where they did an exceptional job. We have used Mia's housekeeping for a little over two years now and the quality continues to deteriorate. We just used them for the last time because of how poorly they show up and do their "cleaning". They don't charge more than others around but they lack consistency, high quality cleaning and that extra effort to stand out. They send different people out all the time which can be annoying but more importantly they don't even do the bare minimum when asked. We've had to show them multiple times things missed and they either fix it half way or leave before you can check to see if everything is done correctly or at all. After multiple efforts we are done and going with another company from here on out. read more

I went to inspect my unit and the shower doors had to be redone scum was still there the kitchen cabinets were not wipe out the blinds they cleaned all but 3 so I went and did the cleaning they were paid to due at first I got a price of 170.00 and after 2hours they text me and said they needed another 1/2 hour and it would be 245.00 I just had 2 hip replacements this year and had to go clean what the cleaners didn't clean read more

I got a deep cleaning with Mia's Housekeeping, and they did a truly fantastic job. The two women who came took care of everything in my 1bed/1bath in just under 3 hours: aside from the usual dusting, vacuuming, and surfaces, they washed my windows and blinds, inside the oven and fridge, did the baseboards - they even cleaned my lampshades! There isn't a cat hair in sight (which is saying something!). They were very responsive too and answered all my questions. I booked last minute through yelp, and they were able to accommodate me just 3 days later, which was a relief.
