Tech came out and said he had never seen a Briggs & Stratton generator like this one. He shorted the circuit board, blew a fuse in the transfer switch, left the generator disassembled. Tri-State says they wont come back as "them working on the generator will result in a liability" and refuse to refund. Very disappointed as Tri-Star had been recommended. From my experience with them; Tri-State does not train their technicians or communicate effectively about service needs Evidently if they didn't install it; they won't fix it but they WILL KEEP your money after leaving you worse off than when they showed up

You won't pay more for LPG if you rent the tank, you pay the same as everyone else. I told him I wasn't interested in the tank and let's get to the bottom line for a General 26kw installed and hooked up to everything except the propane tank (I had Glo Flame hook the tank up to the generator, it will save you $1,000 from Tri States prices). End of the day Tri States prices were $6,300 higher than the company I chose to go with. This was an apples to apples comparison, nothing different except Tri State is making a lot money off people not getting Several quotes. There's sales tactics are horrible and I don't recommend using Tri State

Arrow plumber removed the pressure regulator from near the meter…read more This caused the pipe to the house to be under too much pressure and then caused the pipe to eventually leak. There has to be a regulator to control incoming pressure to protect the pipe. Plumber dishonestly said it needed to be moved when he evidently was creating more room at the meter to fix a different leak at that time.
