It was a large order, but we delivered design, colors and size information meticulously organized. They responded with a correct invoice. That's the last time anything went on track. The entire order missed the projected deadline. Only half the shirts were processed due to machine issues. We collected these shirts and waited for the rest. More machine issues kept several shirts in their possession with lots of processes of 'delivery Monday'. We were ghosted from mid-September to mid-October with no responses to multiple emails about incorrect shirts, the missing shirts and a random invoice we were sent. Finally the owner claimed to be getting involved but we heard nothing again. Then his response was the missing shirt would be 'delivered Monday'. No other status updates or comments. Nothing came on Monday. Super shocked. You can't call, it's all unreturned voicemails. Emails are sent into the void with no responses. Don't use this place.

I found the card system they use to be very user friendly with clear instructions. And I've seen many regulars are happy to lend a helping hand if anyone gets confused. I have only ever seen one rolling cart to be used, and the chairs are few so if you come at a busy time, or in a weekend don't expect to find either available. The large washers are $11/cycle and can easily handle two larger loads together so I end up combining towels & rugs with my darks. The large dryers are $2/cycle but they don't dry larger loads with one cycle. I have found its more effective to split my larger loads into two dryers. I have been twice so far and have been pleased with Adamstone Local Laundry - I'll be back!

S&L cleaners is AMAZING!! We went in last night after hours, we were greeted with joy and they were ready to assist. This morning, we took 3 more garments and they were all done. As if that was not enough, same day in the evening, they made time for us to have my husband's suit adjusted, even though he had missed his appointment the day before! I could write a book if I had time. Their services are as exceptional as their attitude. S&L Cleaners on Los Rios Blvd. in Plano opened recently. The building used to house Image Cleaners. I had some laundry and dry cleaning done there a couple of weeks ago. The laundry was nicely pressed with no wrinkles. The dry cleaning also came out just fine. They were able to remove several spots from a dress shirt that another cleaners stained. As I chatted with the friendly owner at the counter, when seeing the sewing machine and colorful rows of threads, I couldn't help but think of my late Mother, as she too was a seamstress. I have her old Kenmore sewing machine among the treasured ancestral artifacts in my sacred space at home. I had been wanting to make a change in where to take my dry cleaning, and reading the positive reviews on Yelp for Dry Clean City, although they're further from my home than at least ten other dry cleaners, I decided to make the trek to give them a try. I felt a kindred spirit as soon as I walked in the door. This is not your usual chain operation here, this is a husband and wife team who've put their personal touch into their business for the last 21 years. As I'm on the verge of taking a long anticipated trip to Portugal and Morocco, I took 12 shirts, three pairs of pants, and one sport coat for dry cleaning, with one shirt also needing mending, after the edge of the lint filter in our dryer grabbed the hem of that garment, and wrapping the shirt into a tight ball, it also tore a hole at the seam. First, the wife at this cleaners did a masterful job of saving that shirt for me, it's as good as new, and for a very reasonable price no less. As for the dry cleaning, I'm sold, everything came out perfectly. I'll be looking dapper for my upcoming trip. But most of all, the reason I know I've found a new place to entrust the care of my highly valued garments with, is this husband and wife team, who put love into the work of their hands. As icing on the cake, their friendliness draws you in upon entering the door for the first time. You just know, these are great souls, they're caring people, and this is a clean operation, a business whose workmanship will help to build our self esteem, as we wear the stylish clothes they've renewed for us time and again. I went for the dry cleaning, but I'll be returning for the friendship, and for their personal touch, in helping their customers feel good about ourselves.
