This museum re-invented itself during the Covid years and threw open its doors following its stellar extreme makeover on Friday, May 20, 2022. I could not attend the ribbon cutting ceremony yet I wanted to provide custom designed flowers that represent the African Savannah and the Hawaiian Tropics. She had me "pin" the options on Pinterest that aligned with my vision, and then she explained exactly what styles I seemed to prefer. It was an absolute no-brainer to hire Kerry to do the flowers for our wedding day, and we also ended up asking her to do the flowers for our welcome dinner. Throughout the wedding planning process, Kerry communicated with us clearly, answered our questions thoroughly, and took the time to go to our venue with us for a walkthrough to review our gameplan in detail. She made incredible recommendations, and we had very little "work" to do on our end to feel confident that Kerry (and her amazing assistant Carly Gonzales) had everything covered. What was delivered was sooo underwhelming, the family wouldn't comment on it when I called and asked a couple times. The few random flowers died immediately, but they didn't add to the arrangement anyway. It was in the end shoved high on top of the wall cabinets at the ceiling out of sight and left behind. I was horrified and truly embarrassed. This never happened to me before. A roadside bouquet would have been far better.
