PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING! It breaks my heart to write this, but some things must be said. What was supposed to be a simple, routine move turned into an absolute nightmare. The movers arrived 15 minutes late not a huge deal, I brushed it off. But soon after they began working, they dropped our dryer down the stairs. I was frustrated, of course, but I told myself, "Accidents happen. They're only human." But then what happened next was beyond unacceptable. It was a complete betrayal. The very people we welcomed into our home, offered cold water to, greeted with kindness and respect... stole my medicinal marijuana. My prescription. My pain relief. Gone. Taken by the very hands we trusted. Let that sink in we trusted this company to be professional, to do their job with integrity instead, I was left in pain, without the medication I rely on to get through each day. An entire month's worth stolen. And the response from management? "You should've had it put up." Excuse me? It was packed. It's also our house, anywhere I put it at is put up. But that's beside the point how about hiring movers who don't steal? To top it all off, they offered me a measly $75 a pathetic gesture that doesn't even come close to covering the cost of what was stolen, let alone the pain, stress, and sheer violation I now feel. Not to mention we paid over $900! This experience has left me scarred. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. So please if you're considering booking with this company... BEWARE. I requested S&Q service last year from a referral to pack and store my entire house and belongings of a large 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms , garage full of furniture, freezer, refrigerator, deck and porch. I explained to owner my situation that I am super busy and my job keeps me away from home. I wouldn't be able to be there for the move. He understood. I initially meant the movers, provided my keys, provided directions and they went to work. providing photos of before, during and after wrapping, storing and sending text and photos of items in storage. I was beyond impressed by the quality of service, speed and thoroughness of this company's work ethics. Here we are an over a year later and I called on them to move me in my new location. Pay a little extra to get a job done professionally. The mover were very nice but when they left I discovered they didn't move all the items from my old home to my new one and they left boxes that were clearly marked for particular rooms in the new home in the garage. They also took a door off the hinges to get furniture in and never put it back on the hinges. When I called the company to ask them to come put my door back how they found it they said they would and then promptly stopped answering my calls. I would not recommend ANYONE use this company! I can't say enough good about this company. the mover i hired left me in the cold . after two days of endless calls i gave up. i contacted S & Q Movers on Sunday, Labor Day Weekend at 9 00 am. I sent them the information needed to do the contract and they responded back with same day service by 2 00 that afternoon. four men showed up and had the truck unloaded and my furniture was in the house and set up. they were very careful not to damage anything and VERY POLITE. Damage to my wooden floors they placed no protection on the floor like other moving companies I've expired for over 20 yrs in the military. I called and they did not reply. I left texts and was ignored. I paid for 2 hrs 160 asked them to add 2 lounge chairs. He said he had to call the company. They were complete in one hr I paid for two. Even though they called an hour after the move to see if everything was ok. I did not notice the damage until the next day at the other property. If the company had of followed up instead of no reply at all I would not have posted this type of review. I will never use this company nor recommend it to anyone else. April 16th Omar was hired to move my family's belongings from one home on base to another. Due to unsafe conditions that could harm my health while pregnant and my children's health I was advised to not enter the home. After paying roughly under $1k for Omar to pack and move everything within the home, I trusted his word when he locked up the first home and guaranteed everything was packed up and ready to move. Was I mistaken for trusting him, absolutely however a company without trust is nothing. My husband being deployed, having an upper respiatory infection, middle of a pandemic, pregnant... All he cared about was being paid! His movers broke a dresser and when asked if they had insurance, he ghosted! Assumibly blocked my number, however not before I confronted him later that day for not finishing the job when my cleaner notified me of the horrible mess of random household belongings they left! Clothes, military attire, carpet cleaner, family photos and carseats.. the list goes on. He confirmed he was aware items were left behind, and demanded more money in text message to finish the original job! Yes all of this is in text message! After seeking legal advice we have decided to file a civil suit to be compensated for the job not finished as well as the extreme emotional stress left on my shoulders to move the remainder of my home with 3 children while pregnant and sick. Scammed is the best way to sum this up, there is no beating around the bush. He has since blocked my cell number and refused to respond. According to some previous reviews this is nothing new of his behavior. Shocker I didnt see this coming. What better way to make money than by taking advantage of someone during a pandemic. This business is unprofessional, untrustworthy and demeaning! The moment you call him out, he will begin to send you or your wife (whomever is communicating) a heart emoji. DO NOT TRUST THIS "COMPANY". Omar made an agreement to transport my 65-yr old mother, her household goods and her vehicle from FL to NC after my father passed away. He sent the order info to my uncle because my mother does not text or email. Even though the order did not specifically include the vehicle nor giving her a ride, he did not question it because the amount was the same as what was agreed upon. When Omar got to FL he told my mom he forgot about the vehicle but when I asked to speak to him, he said the Penske rental place did not have any trailers the day they picked up the truck. He assured me they would figure something out to take the vehicle with them. Then when I called to check on them they had already departed and Omar had told my mom he would just have to go back down the day after they unloaded in NC to get the vehicle but it would cost an extra $200. But he never went. He now claims it was because of Hurricane Florence but the hurricane was not projected to make landfall until Friday or Saturday and he was supposed to get the vehicle Monday and return Tuesday. He would have had plenty of time to make the trip safely. The next thing we know, my mom gets the keys in the mail after the hurricane passes with no letter, no phone call, nothing. I couldn't believe he would mail the keys considering how unreliable the mail was after the hurricane. They could've gotten easily gotten lost or misdelivered. When I called Omar to ask what happened he said he never discussed transporting a vehicle (see the Google review where he responded to my uncle's review stating it was discussed but not included in the order). He also claimed he didn't say anything about a trailer not being available. He said he can only go by what's on the order and it did not include the vehicle. The order didn't include giving my mother a ride either but thank goodness he didn't leave her down there. It doesn't even make sense that she would ask for a ride from them if they weren't going to pull her vehicle. He apologized about the keys and said he meant to include a letter that stated they would need to reschedule. So he said he would get back to me in 24 hours and have a resolution. After 24 hours I didn't hear from him so I texted him. He responded saying they could go down next week and deliver the vehicle and would email the invoice. I did not hear back so I texted again. He emailed the invoice 2 days later and it was for $675! Omar said it was a new order and since the date changed, the price changed. BOTTOM LINE: OMAR HAS NO INTEGRITY. Instead of owning up to a mistake he made and trying to make it right, he kept changing his story and penalized my mother, wanting to charge her more and more. She paid $3,500 and trusted him to follow through with what he said. Now I have to drive 10 hours each way with a baby, to get her vehicle which she has been without for almost a month. Don't rely on the positive reviews. You could be the next person he screws over. (Omar, I don't care how you respond to this review because you are a liar and there is nothing you can say that justifies how you handled this. And exposing the truth about your shady business isn't cyber bullying. I have the right to inform others about our experience. My interaction with Omar and his team was both professional and pleasant. We hired S&Q Movers to move our items into storage as our government move was unable to accommodate the date we needed to move prior to our renters moving in. My husband and I have been in the military for almost 20 years with greater than 15 moves between the both of us. We can definitely tell between a good and bad move. Unfortunately, this move between our home and into storage was not a good move but greatly subpar. It is by far one of the worse I've seen. There were things not boxed and just strewn about without thought. There was no plan in unloading into the storage unit based on the appearance. I spoke to Omar about it and his remark was ' I didn't know you wanted to be a specific way.' It was not about a specific way but rather basic packing. I was surveyed today by our government hired movers and did not preface him with its current state, he immediately asked who did the work and was quite dismayed. His team is going to have to repack. It was really disappointing as I saw they had great reviews, and did not offer anything to address the issue. I do not find fault with the movers themselves but upper management for not implementing QC and better training. I would at least not recommend them for movement into storage. read more

Trust me, pay the little extra and go with two men and a truck. Paid $500 for three hours of moving and to transport additional washer and dryers. (which the movers took a 45 min break and I was still charge for it). My stuff came back to me BROKEN, some of my belongings were still left in previous residence and had to pay someone else to move it out. To top it off, my appointment was for 9am and they did not show up until 1230pm. The delay causes me to miss my appointment with the cleaner that scheduled to clean the home at move out. I had sent pictures to Omar, the owner, and he has yet to contact me in regards to the situation. Will report them to BBB. They need to be blacklisted! I decided to go with this moving company because the reviews were good. Unfortunately my experience was not so great. I hired this company 24 August 2018 to conduct a local move. I purchased a new construction home in which they moved my household goods into. During the move several of my walls were damaged and a bedroom armoire was damaged. I know these things can happen but Omar did not follow through on a promise to return to my home to repair the damages to my walls and refused to take responsibility for the damage caused to my armoire. I would've given them a 5 star, however, when they put my belongs in my new place, they left me a complete mess. They didnt set my entertainment center up, they left my recliner in the middle of the living room floor, broke my microwave, didnt place things where I asked them to place it. For right at 500$ i should not have to move furniture to its rightfully place. My mother in law kept telling them to connect the bridge on the entertainment center, 4 times she told them. They forced a ceder chest between the wall and my bed, I told them where it went. I had to move it so I could get in the bed, like really I would have a ceder chest there. Did not listen. I am disabled and 500,$ later I still have to move everything. Move everything. When I called the owner, he said I saved you money by sending 7 guys.
