I have read the negative reviews and I can honestly say that we have had a great experience with this company. We have no drainage issues and the pool so far has been great. One issue with a salt generator which is beyond their control and they are working with us on getting a warrantied replacement. They have always been quick to respond to our numerous questions as first time pool owners and have been patient and kind through the entire process. I would use them again and will and do recommend them to friends. read more

I love the staff at S&S. They installed my pool 10 yrs ago. Opened/Closed yearly. Warrantied the chlorinator when it went out. This year had its first issue. Started loosing water, one of my return lines cracked just inside of the return. S & S cut the deck, lowered the water level, replaced the return, and refilled, and poured new concrete for $250. They do not call you back. Excuse after excuse when you are trying to get a price to replace a pool liner on a pool that they originally built. After two months of waiting for a firm price because they said COVID was impacting their ability to get a price on the liner we called another pool company, This pool company was able to get a price in 2 days and they use the same pool liner supplier. It was installed 4 weeks later. Do not waste your time with this company. read more

From planning to construction, Melissa and Steve were AMAZING!! I gave Melissa a list of things we wanted and she made it happen within our budget. There were plenty of times for her to up-sell us and she didn't! We even had all the extra concrete work done with them too. They told us 5 weeks to complete and they met that deadline WITH a week off for the holiday and rain putting them behind. We are so happy with our pool and our friends and family love it too! read more

I understand covid has delayed things but it's been months and months since we started this! The main reason for delay and uncertainty is bc they can't seem to find the professionalism to return phone calls when they say they will. Unfortunately the pool just came in so I can't cancel but this can be a million dollar pool and I still would NOT recommend this company and the lack of decent customer service. If there was zero stars that's what we would rate! DO NOT USE THIS FATHER DAUGHTER DUO!!!! We met them at the Home and Garden show. Our main concern was the slope in our backyard when we discussed the pool being put in. We were given the "we've been doing this for years & we can do it with no issues"speech and in good faith we signed a contract on Jan 21 to have them install. Our pool was complete March 10 (2 weeks later than planned with no rain this year) and here it is our first real spring rain and we have a mud hole in our backyard!!! The water from the yard is flowing over the concrete and into the pool!! Which was exactly our concern! You can not even see 2 inches into the water right now! Anger does not explain how my husband and I feel right now!! They also tore our water sprinklers all up and our lawn guy we've used for years even met with Steve and told him where to avoid while digging but they ignored all information and ripped it all up anyways! Costing us more money to have reinstalled. We won't even discuss the horrible mess with dirty and concrete clumps. SECOND major issue is the heater. We had a gas heater installed (which we were never warned about cost to install or run!) and my husband told him he was concerned where it was installed next to AC unit. Again given the "im the pool guy" speech and trusted him. Last week we find out the gas heater is supposed to be at least 36 inches away from the AC unit and it is 8 inches!! Steve of course says not to worry about it. Plumbers, HVAC people AND owners manual says must be moved. Steves answer is for us to pay to have the AC unit moved! He must be insane! They installed the pump on corner of the house where the guttering comes down and tore bottom part off so water just pours straight down onto the pump and he told us to go to lowes go buy us a new one but there's no way to install it bc the pump is in the way! Last week was our first time to try to enjoy this $50,000 investment we also found TWO places where the liner was coming out from under the coping AND a cut in the liner where they attached the ring for safety net to go. I contacted Melissa about 3 or 4 weeks with concerns about the water level going down really quickly and so we found out why, the almost 2 inches cut in liner. Of course they only wanted to patch it an not replace it! The liner is creased and folding in the shallow end near the stairs and is very noticeable. We also had issues with out HOA bc of where fence panels were removed around edition for easier access, Steve does all the plumbing but is not a licensed plumber, the concrete is already chipping and cracking, city of Okc had to come out 4 times before passed inspection, horrible communication on process. BEWARE! Don't use this company! They used small, cheap lines so the pump burned up fast and we had to replacer it. Concrete cracked and is crooked. Vinyl liner tore and ladder was put in crooked. The pool is only 2 yrs old. It took them a year to finish it because of all they did wrong or cheaply. read more

We had a pool built this year. Our experience with S&S Pools was extremely satisfying. Considering that a swimming pool is a large investment and the worries that come along with it, S&S Pools made this very comforting. It was nice to know that they took our best interest to heart. Purchased 6/10/08, completed 5/09 (promised by Aug1,08). Replaced concrete 3x. Broke every water and sewer line in the yard -- fine print of contract said we were responsible -- our additional cost was nearly $6K. Service lines leaked, installed right on the surface, used 1 1/2 flex lines (that damage easily), pump failed after roughly 6 months of use -- told by service tech that the pump needs 2" lines to run properly and to expect failures about every 2 years. Called Steve (owner) who said "you're on your own". Unreliable, rude and shoddy work -- Not recommended!!! read more

We've been very pleased with S&S Pools and would highly recommend them. They are great to work with and we have a beautiful pool.

My wife and I had S&S Pools install a 16 x 36 foot Cretian vinyl lined pool for us last year. They originally told us it would take 3-5 weeks for completion, it took 10 weeks and 3 days. The communication was horrible, they left the pool and the surrounding concrete dirty and then it took an act of congress to get them to clean it. We wanted a rock waterfall that would double as a jump platform. Steve, the owner, didn't ask us what we wanted or where we wanted it installed. Instead he ran the plumbing and then had the concrete poured where he thought it looked best. Completely not what we wanted but it was too late. They tore up our sprinkler system and I found a sprinkler head that they should have literally an hour before they were going to concrete over it. It would have flooded out our home and foundation. The pool liner had several creases and was uneven, Steve told us it was because it was cold and that it would fix itself when it warms up's. It's Aug 1st today and we have had a few 100 degree days and guess what, it didn't fix itself. We have several hard spots in the pool because they left trash and rocks under the liner, we have creases and several winkle spots and they broke our deck jets because we asked to have them readjusted and then baulked about repairing them after they broke them. They were installed unsymmetrically to begin with. Still not happy with them but too late, concrete is done. We never received written plan's, they didn't ask us what we wanted during the process. We have a pool that we enjoy but for almost $40k spent, horrible experience and several, several other much better pool companies. read more
