It was worth it to not have to wait until 8 AM to use the plumbing in my house. He was honest and explained that with the equipment I already had I could have fixed the problem if I had continued rooting for another 30 minutes. I appreciate his honesty. Nonetheless I still would've called him because he did a great job and got it done right without me breaking myself trying to fix the problem.

However, here's a summary of some of the issues I have with my most recent experience: - I'm now being told to schedule an annual A/C or furnace inspection (which I'm told I need to do to keep my warranty in place (I originally purchased my A/C and furnace from them)), that I need to do it a month or more in advance from when I want the inspection. So, if I want my annual A/C inspection to be performed in mid-April, I'm told I need to call them probably in late February to schedule a mid-April appointment. In the past, making an inspection appointment had to be done maybe 1-2 weeks in advance. This indicates to me that maybe they don't have enough service technicians? Don't now, just speculation on my part. - I had difficulty understanding what the associate was saying, I think, due to the headset she was using (she verified she was on a headset). I had to ask for her to repeat several times, which is frustrating. - Trying to verify current inspection pricing was not a pleasant experience. - I was told that they can still bump my appointment for someone else with an emergency, leaving me wondering if the appointment I made will be actually kept (or rescheduled by them). In the past, for other types of service appointments, they rescheduled me twice. - The best Service One can give you is an 8 hour window as to when a technician will be at your house (they used to give a 4 hour window). So someone working has to take the full day off (or have someone else there), so that they are available to be there when they give their 30-minute call that they are on their way. At best, I give these guys 2 stars.

I cold called Burton on Monday morning at 8am and was exceedingly lucky to have Steve at my residence by 8:30am. He swiftly diagnosed the issue, walked me through various repair options and price points (zero upselling) and I found the pricing to be competitive. He had the entire sewer line replaced with new pump, hardware and applicable pipe in about 3-hours which greatly brought me peace of mind. Even better they offer a standard 2-yr warranty on parts and labor and while he did not expect the need, he encouraged me to call if there was any issue with his repair in the future. Very pleased with the timeliness and workmanship of Steve and Burton today. A terrific experience!
