Our family was involved in an accident and chose to have S&W complete the repairs. Upon completion, S&W collected payment, oddly only $500, which we questioned - but were assured was the correct amount. This morning the vehicle involved was towed due to an unpaid balance, from the hospital as one of our family member was receiving Cancer treatments. The attempts to collect, according to S&W were "unsigned for / undelivered" letters and "voicemails" which they assure were left. We can confirm that when we were finally contacted (nearly 6 months after the work had been completed,) a very rude and unprofessional clerk threatened to take the issue "to the next level" if the balance was not settled - again any unpaid balance was a result of S&Ws error and was never contested on our part. There was no need for a threat, that was extremely unprofessional. In speaking to S&W moments ago, I attempted to provide all of the details, including our focus on Cancer treatment for a family member and absolutely no intent on not paying - again we were the ones who questioned the amount initally collected. It was however made crytal clear that it was our responsibility ensure correct amount had been charged and the fact that the vehicle was towed from the hospital was not their concern and the owner of S&W could not be expected to "eat the cost" of the towing fee - we however, a local working family - could. I reiterate, the unpaid balance was never contested and it was also not communicated via a confirmed communication, when finally communicated it was done so via a threat eventhough the mistake was initially S&Ws. Please think twice when choosing where to send your business. Not all local businesses operate in an ethical manner nor are concerned about the effect of their mistakes/actions on the community in which they prospered from. EDIT: We've now happily settled the oustanding initial balance and VERY reluctantly paid the towing fee - the vehicle is needed for transport to/from cancer treatments and work and S&W did not seem at all moved to even compromise on the amount. I was also told that while my story was factual, if I did not remove / change my comments that they may be forced to respond. I had a fender bender. The shop took great care of my truck. I was informed if there were any parts delays. It's amazing how much work goes into a simple fender bender, but they did a great job. I'd recommend the shop to anyone. read more

I've had several vehicles repaired here over the last couple years and the experience had been great every time. They were very quick to respond to requests and kept me updated through the process with top notch body work. Unfortunately that is no longer the case. Earlier this year I had one of my vehicles repaired and paid cash for it. The rep was terrible, several weeks would go by without any updates from them. The repair job it's self was sub par. I'm currently trying to get a vehicle repaired and they have been nothing but rude and uncooperative in getting the process started and have mostly refused to take on the repair, both the Lufkin and Nacogdoches location. Very disappointed with this place ....someone hit me and their insurance chose them to repair my 2011 jeep not much to repair just a wheel and small damage to me passenger door ....my car has been there for almost a month ....day one they sent someone to get my car....the day after Kevin from s&w calls me leaves a message telling me call him because there was something that happened to my car !!! Alarming because I seen the wreck take my car and there was not much damage I was like now what lord's !!! I called him and he ask me is your car here ??? Are you serious I stated did y'all loose my car ???? He was like well no let me check if it's here and where .....he called me right back oh yes it's here looks like they brought it here after hours ...wtf ...no clue..anyways then he tells me he will call me back when he has an estimate on my car .....he called and told the initial estimate. Of 3500... Then days later he tells me he's waiting on the estimate to get approved . He has called me and told me it was approved ok we'll fix my car ever week he's told me the same lie he told me I'm just waiting on a part.... Be here in 2 days all he told me it was it was a door and a suspension repair and a wheel ....how much longer is my car gonna sit there do they can fix it any one with their "experience Should had made a correct estimate and got it done ...that day I went to sign the papers he told me he was waiting on my door and it will be there in 2 days and that they were putting on the suspension....about a week later he told that he was getting the suspension done as we spoke....wait you told be that was done... Well no looks like no never done and they were working on it like everything else waiting on parts ....and same story every time I talk to him yesterday he called and told me he would call me once my car was completed .. now he tells me I can go pick up if I want but it's missing a part ???? But I can bring it back for them to fix what the hell ...he stated he could not give me an exact day my car will be done he's change the estimate time twice now ....I will not be using them at all and I really would like to take it somewhere else after this to make sure my car actually got fixed and not just added part to get a bigger estimate amount not happy with this place......original estimate was 3500 and now it's 6000 and still no car .... read more

Update: Since my first experience with S&W I have returned twice for more body work. The service I have received has been proof that they truly deserved a second chance. I have nothing but absolutely positive things to say about the company, their work, and the people who work there. Thank you for taking such great care of my vehicle S&W. I first started my journey with S&W several months ago due to paint damage from East TX's not so lovely "love bugs." In the beginning I must admit the shop encountered some challenges in restoring my vehicle. The vehicle had to be returned to the shop to several times for paint match issues, trash in the paint, and flare issues. I was at that time unsatisfied with the quality of work and customer service that was being provided. Fortunately I was able to get in contact with Cory Pigg and after expressing some of my frustrations he connected me with Mark Crocker. From that moment I became a truly happy customer! Mark took the time to listen to my concerns and went above and beyond to make sure my expectations were met. I have received my vehicle back and it is in perfect condition by my standards (which are pretty high). Horrible service!! Steve and Kevin both need a lesson in customer service and honesty! The body work they do on cars is bad. Looks like work from students practicing in college. My car was up there for a month getting fixed the first time. It then had to go back twice afterwards. It is STILL not right!! Over spray on the windshield and the driver door looks like someone spray painted it!! Not even to mention I dropped it with a half tank of gas and it left with low fuel levels! They claimed my car was worth 30,000 at first until they were called out that mine was a 2012 and a 2014 is only worth 31,000....all they want is MONEY! And their work is NOT worth a dollar!!! My car is absolutely horrible and S&W should be ashamed! But they do not care! Have a lawyer on stand by when you walk through their doors!!! read more
