The spa had a very mellow vibe and I watched as they were cleaning the floors, the pedicure chairs and stations, everything. It was only after I sat down and they started, that they mentioned they could not do Dazzle Dry. At this point, it really didn't matter. Weird to me: - completely dry - no soaking of nails - I mentioned that I don't do no chip anymore cause the drills freak me out and then they took out a drill to do my cuticles - nail tech stopped halfway through and someone else finished However, I did like: - peaceful ambience - quiet - tech said I had hands like a doll - relaxing hand massage - inexpensive They let me sit for a few minutes to let my nails air dry (no dryer) but I always hate that so I left as soon as I could. I thought I might have messed up with the seat belt but it was ok. As of today--nails still look great.

One friend had to have her nails redone, also as there were some issues. My fingers chipped 2 days later and my toes don't look all that great either. There were about six nail stations and six chairs, and it seemed roomy and clean. There is a large screen TV in the center of the space, and it was playing "Julie and Julia," from 2009, starring Meryl Streep as Julia Child. The sound was off, captions were on. The story looked quite interesting, although I am not a fan of Meryl Streep. My technician, Jennifer, did a nice job, she fixed a nail that cracked, gave a nice hand massage and (bonus) a neck massage too. I liked that there were drying fans for each hand, and my nails look good. I thought it a little pricey compared to my recent manicures and the color selection was limited. I probably will come back after my DD tour of the area is concluded.

Mind you, there wasn't a single other customer in the salon and I arrived well over an hour before closing. The service itself was rushed, impersonal, and I felt like they couldn't wait to get me out the door. In fact, they basically kicked me out 30 minutes before their posted closing time, again, despite the place being completely empty. I know that staff changes when ownership changes. The one thing I noticed it was one of the fastest pedicures I've ever had. The main reason women treat themselves is to relax. It was difficult to relax when I felt rushed. My pedicure lasted 25 minutes. It was a good pedicure. I loved my color, my leg massage, and the hot towel was wonderful.
