22 and licensed within 2 months! I enrolled in the 6-hour package with S Pass Driving School, split into three 2-hour sessions. When I started, I had a lot of driving anxiety and even some imposter syndrome about being on the road. Angie, my instructor, was incredibly understanding and supportive. She helped me confront my fears head-on and turn them into actionable goals. Her calm demeanor and clear instructions made me feel more confident with each session. One of the great things about S Pass Driving School is the flexibility to space out your sessions as far apart as you need--as long as it's before your permit's expiration date. Angie also tailored our sessions to focus on the areas where I needed the most improvement. We practiced in neighborhoods and streets near the DMV where I planned to take my test. Angie recommended saving the final session just a few days before my behind-the-wheel test. For me, this was three days prior. During that last session, I was honest with her: I hadn't practiced as much as I'd hoped since our second session, and I was even considering postponing my test. Angie encouraged me to go for it anyway, reassuring me that it's okay to try and not pass on the first attempt. We did a practice test during that session, and I didn't pass. I got assigned to Nancy, a newer and younger hire. She was super awesome. I felt completely comfortable with her. She was easy to talk to and work with. I was super nervous because I am 23 years old and didn't have much recent driving experience prior to these lessons. I took 4 lessons once per week and we worked on refining different skills each lesson. I could definitely tell the difference in my driving by the end of the lessons. I felt more comfortable and confident. Nancy would take notes on my driving and give me feedback during and after the lessons. I used these notes to refine on my own time with my spouse. She will definitely put you at ease, but she is also honest, so be ready for real feedback. She made me practice the same turns over and over again, so that I would do it better. It also helped me get familiar with the actual driver's test. We did a "practice" test and she scored me and told me how I could improve. I was also called sometimes to ask if I wanted an appointment at a sooner date, which was really nice of them. I found their pricing to be the most affordable in the area. I was also told that my pick up location time would be plus or minus 15 minutes, but Nancy was usually at my house on the dot. It was so nice that they pick up and drop off at your home! My son had zero driving experience prior to having instruction with Angie. I paid for the 12 hour package prior to DMV closures from pandemic and then added 2 sessions along with the DMV test as a refresher. I was very happy with the great customer service when scheduling or rescheduling appointments. When requested, Angie provided feedback from lessons and areas that needed improvement for when we practiced alone. I must stress ***Students must also practice outside of driving school to reinforce the skills learned from driving school. South Pass driving school provided a great foundation to ensure my son knew the rules and how to be safe when driving. Angie also took my son through different areas to experience various driving conditions and drove in the area of the DMV testing site to go over possible scenarios before the drive test. What I also liked about this driving school is the different vehicle size options. When doing research, other companies only had tiny hybrids. I recently passed my driver's test on my second try and had been taking lessons with Angie for almost 6 mos with no prior driving experience. Time flew by because it felt less than that. I can see why so many people love Angie! She's honest, patient, professional & flexible (and a good listener lol). I took two lessons with Nancy too, and she was great as well. Both Angie and Nancy would give me a lot of feedback, which I appreciated because I want to understand what I'm doing wrong.
