Absolutely the Worst Experience at a Sports Club
As a family deeply invested in sports, we've seen our kids play both competitively and recreationally since they were toddlers. However, our experience with Force has been nothing short of appalling. The coaching duo--a mother-daughter team--is not only substandard for the fees charged but also deceitful and racially biased. My husband, who has darker skin, and I, with my accent, were clear targets of this discrimination.
They falsely promised equal playing time during the initial tournaments. Instead, my daughter was humiliatingly excluded from scrimmages and only played for a mere 5 minutes in one game, while less skilled players rotated in and out. This team, under their coaching, lost every game except one that weekend, proving the incompetence at hand. My daughter was not just sidelined but also subjected to mental bullying and exclusion, which is unacceptable for any preteen.
When we confronted the owner--charming only until he had secured our payment--we received no apology or acknowledgment of our concerns. He passed the buck to another director, who lied about having observed the games, claiming he saw the rotations. This was clearly impossible given the crowd size, highlighting their dishonesty.
To add insult to injury, they delayed our refund, essentially holding our money hostage. We opted for Force due to its proximity to our home, but if we had known the quality of coaching, we would have chosen Alamo, known for superior game strategy, techniques, and even uniforms. SA Juniors also provided a commendable experience.
If you're a parent who doesn't mind bending over backward to keep peace, Force might just be the place for your daughter, but expect her skills to stagnate under such mediocre coaching. This place is a disgrace, and our only satisfaction came from removing our daughter from this toxic environment. read more
