First time coming here, loved it. Service was good, employees are nice and the atmosphere is pretty chill/ can definitely get some work done while eating breakfast. Definitely will be back

I've been coming to M&G's for about 4 years now. The food and service is always great. Whether you dine in or get takeout/delivery, the prices at M&G's seriously can't be beat. I'm not sure about the location further down Arthur Ave, but this one is definitely a gem. I would definitely recommend the standard issue breakfast items: pancakes, eggs Benedict, omelettes of any kind etc. Don't miss their free coffee before 11 am (coffee is really good here). Also note that their breakfast potatoes are some of the best I've had.

This diner is perfect! There is a good amount of seating so you could come with a group of friends if you wanted. The service is great and we got constant refills of coffee. I ordered two eggs scrambled with cheese, home fries and turkey bacon. The fact that they have other breakfast meat options for non pork eaters is an automatic plus for me. The four stars is for the prompt and welcoming service, the quality of the food, and wonderful prices ($7.50 for my whole meal, coffee, and OJ!). The breakfast was filling and yummy in my tummy. Sometimes you just can't get any better than a good old fashioned diner breakfast! Don't argue with me... Also, the area little Italy pero in the Bronx so there are some other cute bakeries and whatnot if you want to walk around with bae. You're welcome!

Imagine the food that is equal to Perkins in flavor and overall quality but prices you would expect in the Bronx. What I got: I got the Pancakes (3 of them) with two eggs over-easy. It came with a shot of Orange Juice with tea or coffee. I chose the Coffee and it tasted like Folgers, no one is coming here for the coffee. The orange juice was cold and I thought it was unique to be able to get both coffee+ orange juice included in my meal price. Food taste: Average pancakes. When you think of pancakes made at home, that is the exact flavor. The eggs were good, I mean I do not eat eggs often so when I do get them, they usually hit the spot. Do not come here for food that is going to blow your palate away. Feeling: The staff was nice to me but I did like that since I was reading a magazine, they just let me be but would fill my drinks when they were empty. As every diner should have, the coffee refills were like Dash from the Incredibles. Cost: With a tip, it cost $7. That is ridiculous and for that single reason, I thought it was dope. To be able to eat at a restaurant, get a drink and tip for under $10 is remarkable. Overall: 4/5 because the price is untenable while the food is there to fill you not to stretch your flavor palate.

The food is good, but what frustrated me was that I ordered an omelet with a side of bacon and sausage and they incorporated it in the egg. On top I get no jelly for my bread, and it's not the first time that happens.

2 eggs, hashbrowns, 4 slices of bacon and buttered toast!! $6!!!!

Good portion sizes food price point, close enough to walk from apartment and they deliver too if you're too lazy. Will come back again.

Such a cute place! The service and food were both great along with the prices! If you're in the area, it's a great spot for a quick meal.

A Little Italy tradition worth every stop!…read more Whenever we head to the Bronx for Italian cold cuts and fresh homemade ravioli, stopping at Delillo Pastry Shop is part of the tradition. We simply can't leave without it. Their cappuccinos are excellent--my personal favorite is the Nutella cappuccino--and my 6-year-old always asks for their rich hot chocolate. Before leaving, we always grab a gelato to go and pick up a box of pastries for the week. Everything we've tried has been fresh, delicious, and beautifully made, and they offer a wonderful variety of classic Italian desserts. The shop itself is small and cozy, which adds to its authentic neighborhood bakery charm. Just keep in mind that there isn't a dedicated parking lot, so you'll need to find street parking--and in Little Italy, that can definitely require a little patience! If you're visiting Arthur Avenue, Delillo Pastry Shop is a stop you shouldn't skip. It's one of those places that keeps you coming back year after year.

What made this neighborhood important to me as a child is GINOS PASTRY…read more GINOS was relevant as it is a family style pastry shop that smiled and greeted you with welcoming arms where my Mama loved to frequent on Saturdays to get pastries and fresh ground coffee while I would indulge with Raspberry Babolonis; donuts with extra powdered sugar and a chocolate gelato icecream. The best treat and time for Mommy daughter and the friendly hometown Italian shop. This was also a time when women had just been given power to make choices about financial means in the household and have bank accounts in their names. The world was changing and INCLUSION was the glow on America's faces for all races. I saw Saturdays and Mommy/Daughter time to do girl things. I happened to be in the Bronx and lo and behold, Gino's appeared. Actually, my friend was shopping at the bakery a few days before while talking with me on the phone. I asked her to ask if they made cannolis because I've been craving them for months, but didn't want mediocre pastries. People, please know that Gino's is cannoli heaven, and they surpassed my expectations. They had mini cannoli, chocolate dipped cannoli, etc. I understand that they also make a killer pistachio dipped cannoli!!! Gonna try the pistachio next time for sure. In the meantime, I am glad that they are not close to home... CALORIES LOL!

This is a well known bakery right in the heart of the South Bronx! (BX Stand Up!) I've brought the…read moresame cake from this place years ago. The customer service, the cake, & the taste was all the same as what it was before. AMAZING! I got the fresh strawberry shortcake with crackers all around for a friend's birthday. I was able to get the bakery to write on the cake and buy candles for the cake as well. They boxed it up for me nicely and safely so the cake wouldn't mess up. When I brought the cake to the party it was the main attraction at the end of the night. The cake was sliced and served. Once the guest had that first bite they were taken aback at how BOMB the cake was! They said it was the perfect kind of sweet. Not overly sweet like other cakes and how it tasted so fresh and delicious. Awww man I need you to experience it for yourself! This cake in particular has me in a chokehold! Their other pastries also look equally amazing on display. COME TO ARTUSO!

As soon as you step inside, you're taken by how large and how clean Artuso is. It is very well lit, and all of these things make it very easy for you to focus on those glass cases full of sweets. Their selection is extremely large and contains all that you would expect (biscotti, rainbow cookies, b&w's, pignolis, etc) as well as Italian ice and various other treats. The line moved fast, and the workers were extremely helpful as we ordered our rainbow cookies and pignoli cookies with cannoli cream. The pignoli were great...they had that signature almond taste, just right. Very enjoyable. And the cannoli cream center was a nice touch, and very good as well. The rainbow cookies were ok. Admittedly, I have a very high bar for rainbows, so I hold them to a high standard...and they were good, just not as flavorful/almondy as I particularly prefer. In all, Artuso is a great stop. A perfect post lunch/dinner spot to grab a quick snack to cap off a meal. Definitely check it out.
