I purchased Ice for months last year: August, September, and October, about 50 bags per week at the max. Today I stopped in to grab 4 bags to check the quality and ice size to plan for the busy season ahead. I paid ahead, got my receipt, and started to load my ice. When grabbing the 2nd bag I tried to grab the 3rd at the same time but didn't want to rip or drop a 20lb bag of ice, so I only took one at a time. When grabbing the 4th and final bag the dude at the register, the same guy I was purchasing from all last year, told me that I already grabbed everything I paid for and accused me of stealing a fifth / extra bag. I explained that I didn't and only took one at a time. He insisted that I was stealing so I told him to come look in my car that was parked right on the curb; he refused to leave the counter and insisted that I took an extra bag. I took a picture of the ice in the back of the car to show him but he was rude and continued to say I took more, so i tried to remind him of all the business I gave him last year. He was a rude d*ick. I will not return to give this shop any money ever again. I work in another local small Buena Park business, and I was wearing my work shirt with the logo, AND I paid with a company card. I didn't need to steal a $5 bag of ice. F*uck you, get wrecked. Sometimes the pricing is cheaper online, and it's reflected when it's scanned at the register. Also not all bourbon is in order. There was a bottle they definitely had , but I couldn't find it and took a few minutes for an associate to locate it. Therefore, I highly recommend to order online and pickup later. (I would have saved about 30mins ordering online ). Not that I'm complaining, just stating a fact. Pricing for scotch and non allocated bourbon is excellent. Lower than anyone , save Costco. I came specifically for a Laphroaig lore cask strength, $85. Grabbed a few other goodies.

She talked to me like I was stupid and then got weird and aggressive when I asked if they had gift bags, telling me they charge for those. I was just asking if they had them! I wasn't asking for anything free, though that would have been nice considering I spent over $200 and then was snapped at like I was trying to get a handout. The young college kids working in there also get treated poorly by the stuff I overheard. The store is small, cramped, and they hover over you for taking a look. More security cameras than a bank. Just straaaaange vibes in there. Will just make the drive to Newport next time.

Not a huge place but the selection is amazing. The pricing cure is really great as well. It's pretty much the best prices you're gonna find even for some of the more rare bottles. Her attitude was dismissive and unhelpful, no apology or effort to make it right. What makes it worse is that my order was marked completed by the time I got to my car, even though I never received anything, and shortly after, the store was suddenly shown as "not accepting orders." It really makes me question whether she was being honest. I understand technology issues can happen, but the way I was treated and how this situation was handled was incredibly unprofessional. I left with no order, no apology, and a bad impression.

From the moment I walked in, an employee who appeared to be a manager followed me throughout the store, making me feel like I was being profiled. It was degrading and uncalled for. Things escalated when I browsed the alcohol section. Without any prior interaction, he abruptly started yelling at me to show my ID. I was taken aback by his aggression, especially since I hadn't even attempted to purchase anything yet. When I decided to leave rather than engage further, he followed me out and made racially charged comments under his breath, loud enough for me to hear. It was shocking and completely unprofessional. I am sharing this so others can be aware. There are plenty of other places to shop where you won't be treated with hostility or disrespect. I won't be returning, and I hope management takes this seriously, but based on my experience, I would not count on it.
