Visiting this area and decided to try this place out. WOW! So glad we did. The owner greeted us personally and wanted feedback on his new 150k ventilation system. Zero cigar smell on our clothes or hair. The ambiance here is top notch also. Although we are only here for 3 more days we will be back daily. There is a more bougie cigar lounge on the same street, about 1.5 miles away, but Sabor Havana has a better cigar selection and better vibe; it feels more authentic & folksy...welcoming. It's a man's world, but women smoke cigars too!! I think all cigar places cater to men and often times forget that women like to have a drink and good cigar as well. This place had a large selection of cigars, actually the walls were lined with them front to back, floor to ceiling. It had the typical larger leather lounge chairs in the front and back of the store. I cant recall a television, but there were several men just enjoying each other and the atmosphere. The cashier was very helpful in showing me the sweeter options. She was patient and informative. If you're looking for nice place with a large selection, stop here. read more

During my visit today to Doral, Florida i decided to stop in to take a look at the selection of Gars. It took me about 30 minutes because I was in Heaven. Purchased 6 sticks and my 1st Colibri V-Cutter. The lady behind the register was so nice and did not pressure me to hurry up and buy like some shops. Came back a 2nd time looking for a temporary ashtray because I was staying at the resort, she remembered me and gave me a nice gift on her. Some shops where I'm from in Northern Florida should take notes. I definite recommend and I will pay a visit to Sabor Havana again!!!! read more

Fantastic place; great atmosphere. Wonderful people await and great you with a warm hello. Their attentiveness is second to none with helping you make a selection. They have a wide variety of premium cigars to choose from and the pricing is in line with the market. I enjoyed a fine cigar while in Miami on business and I enjoyed my time. The seating is very comfortable and the tall ceilings make for a pleasant; not overwhelming, atmosphere. I also really enjoyed the free mouth wash and mints in the bathroom. You do not find that level of service with most lounges. I will be back next time I'm in town! read more

Really nice staff. Got to meet the owner, Jorge l. Valdés. Really nice guy, accommodating and very knowledgeable. Got me exactly what I was looking for and I was extremely satisfied with his recommendation. Overall the venue is very neat, nice comfy chairs and chill atmosphere. Keep an eye out for all the monthly events. Jorge was extremely accommodating and catering. The overall service is not just accommodating but inquisitive and informative. They want to make sure their costumers are beyond satisfied with the product. He was closed and stayed open a few minutes for do I could pick up a few sticks during my break. This is one of my favorite cigar bars and shops in Dade County. I frequently visit this store since it's near my job in the city of the Doral. I am not a chain-smoker I usually smoke one cigar about once or twice every two weeks or so just to unwind. Therefore, I'm not looking for a cheap smoke I enjoy quality and Savor Havana delivers. From Liga Privada, Padron, My Father Cigars or the Oliva Series V which won cigar of the year you will find the best Cuban, Nicaraguan, and Dominican republic leaves. They also have a large assortment in quality torch lighters, cigar lighters, cutters and quality ashtrays made out of ceramic. You can also get a good deal on humidors for the cigars you have at home. The staff is very knowledgable on just about every cigar they have in their shop and if they don't have what you want they will find the closest thing that they have in their store to cater to your needs. Every time you walk in your kindly greeted and offered Cuban coffee while you look for cigar. They also have big-screen TVs, Domino's table and couches for you to come on by after work or if you just want to relax and enjoy your smoke. I would highly recommend the cigar lounge/shop to anyone. read more

Excellent cigar shop. Incredible selection of everything you could possibly want. The first time we got here we arrived a little after closing time. The owner was still inside and he opened the door, told us he was closed but invited us in anyway and showed us around. Never making us feel rushed. He asked if we wanted to hang out with him and his friends to watch the basketball game! We have been back many times since and I've spent thousands of dollars in the shop because of his hospitality. read more

One of the best selection of cigars you will find anywhere with very competitive pricing and knowledgeable staff. Well ventilated with high ceilings, comfortable seating and very cool humidor trays for your 'shopping'. Only reason it's not 5 star is that it could have a little more seating but that shouldn't take anything away from Sabor...worth a visit. read more

When i needed to grab a good cigar quickly for a friend of mines that was in town, i stopped by here on my lunch break since it was the closest to my job. Have never been here before, i didnt know what to expect. I saw it from the outside and it looked small, Once i walked in ... BOOM! Hit me in the face real hard, i felt stupid for judging a book by it's cover. This Store was HUGE! had a lot of walking space and is able to fit a Big Crowd of People. This place is super nice, Has a Domino Table so you can play dominos and smoke a cigar. Also Has Flat Screen T.V.'s Hanging To watch the News, Sports or Whatever their playing. They have a wine cellar all the way in the back of the store, there they have Two Sofa Chairs. I'm Assuming it's to enjoy a glass of wine. They seem to have a great vareity of wine, As for cigars they have plenty to choose from. The cigars are displayed in shelves all around the store, they dont have them in humidors but they do have humidifaction system great enough to provide the right amount of humidity to the cigars around the store. They sell lighters, Humidors, cutters, and anything you might need to smoke a cigar. You can call it Your Tools for your Cigar Smoking, they will have it. So I walked up to the employee behind the register and told him my situation, i know what cigars i liked but dont know what to get my friend because everyone has their own taste to cigars. After Speaking to the gentleman for a while he Recommended me to get a Padron, he told me it was going to be pricey but i cant go wrong with it. So i took his word, i got the cigar and the gentleman was right! My Friend wouldn't stop telling me how great the cigar was, so since his recommendation was successful i decided to go back a couple of days later and thank him. And to buy a cigar cutter from there, but the day i went back he was already gone for the day. There was another young gentelman there this time. I spoke to him telling him how i've been going threw the trouble of going store to store trying to find the cutter i wanted all day and it was upsetting that i hadn't found it until I finally found it at this store. You know what he replyed to me with!? I couldnt believe him! He tells me "After you going threw all that trouble for a cutter, ill make it even better for you .... *he paused for 5 seconds* I'll give you a discount on it" i simply replied with .... "Um are we stll in Miami, because people rarely give me discounts for no reason here in miami, you must have a promotion going on or something." He started laughing and said no he understand the stress i went threw and it was cool. I couldn't thank him enough after. In shorter terms: THE EMPLOYEES Here are SUPER NICE, Thats one of the reasons i keep coming back here once in a while. They also throw some events but i've never attended any, so i wont be able to specify on their events. But otherwise if your in the neighborhood, stop by and take a look. read more

Sabor Havana Cigars saved the day for me. I was in a bind, and didn't know what to get---it was a gift for somebody special in my life. Jorge Valdes, the proprietor/owner spent about an hour with me going over everything and giving me options in different price ranges. He showed me the difference between a good humidor and a bad one, (which is the one I walked in with) and he made me feel very comfortable with the products. My special someone was so happy when he got the gift;Jorge helped me pick out a beautiful desk lighter, an ashtray and a collection of Arturo Fuentes cigar. I recently went to get a cigar for my boyfriend and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The owner was there and was very helpful he showed me around the store gave me a little lesson on the different types of cigars, which by the way they had a very big variety. I did not know what to choose, so they helped me with that and needless to say my boyfriend loved what I got him.
