This review is for a cake I ordered from Sachi's for my mom's 80th birthday. Let me start by saying that the ordering process itself and the cake were fabulous. The cake was exactly what I requested, and everyone raved about how delicious it was. We chose lemon blueberry cake with buttercream and it was delectable. If taste is your primary concern, you won't be disappointed, and the cake will also be beautiful. The deduction of one star is due to a pickup issue on the day of my event. I was contacted the day prior and asked what time I planned to pickup the cake. As I was concerned about transporting such a large cake, I wanted to pick up on my way to the venue, so it would only need to be moved once. When I got to the bakery, there was a sign that stated they were closed temporarily. Of course I was panic stricken, and I called both the bakery number and cell number I messaged with previously, and I got no response. As I was on a tight time schedule, I had to leave to go to the event location to begin setting up, and we started looking for a cake alternative (thanks to my niece and daughter - and HEB - for coming through on that). After some time at the venue, I was contacted and apologized to for the mixup. Apparently there was a wedding emergency with another customer, and they left the mobile phone previously mentioned inside the bakery. They delivered to me onsite for the inconvenience. Without this incident it would have been a 5 star review all the way, but this put quite a kink in the day. I wouldn't hold this one thing against them, and would use their services in the future, and you should also give them a try if you're in need of a beautiful great tasting cake or other pastry. read more

My favorite would be the new york one though, ube flavored I think! I can see why she's gone to this place alot. If I'm ever back in the area I would definitely go again! Came in from Galveston a few days ago for Lamar University graduation...wanted to try this place out because I've heard so much about it and I've followed her journey on IG. I made small talk and brought up how my mom uses (just) frames on her wall (for decor) like owner does with her mirrored frames; she smiled at me. I took photos right off because it's a cute shop inside...everything is done to impress which I love. Plus, I wanted them for my review. So, yeah...there was no other small talk...no assistance...or information about what I was looking for...or if I had ever been in before...just pretty girls waiting for me to pay. I dunno...it was awkward. I just don't understand the mentality of some small business owners, I'd be appreciative of every customer...I'd be friendly. I mean, there a neon sign saying dreams come true...LOL! First impressions are soo important...always will be. I bought 2 mini cannoli, a Cookie Monster...it's cookie with icing or cream in middle of 2 m & m cookies, and a chocolate chip walnut cookie...total $16 In and out in less than 5 Shared my sweets with parents Our thoughts... My dad liked everything. My mom and me... cannoli's...ok. Not much flavor. CC walnut...yummy! Wow, this bakery is incredible! My sister was turning 75 and it was her first birthday in a skilled nursing facility. I live out of state, so did a little research and found this bakery. The place is beautiful! Shopkeeper could learn to smile a bit or do something to make guests feel welcome. She wasn't mean, but she wasn't friendly, either. I suspect she wasn't the most outgoing person or something. I don't believe there was ill-intent on her part. That said, the items on display look great. We were excited to get our order. When we got home and tried the food, the chocolate chip cookie was fantastic! I wish we'd have gotten more! The other items, however, were stored in the refrigerated display case. Everything we got from the case tasted like refrigerator and cleaner (Fabuloso, we suspect). It's great having a clean storage space for food, but when you use something with such a strong fragrance, it tends to stick to any exposed food. In this case, it was EVERYTHING from the case. We had to throw everything away. Except the cookie. The cookie was spared since it wasn't stored in the display case. I do hope this shop remedies the issues! I'm so happy there's a new bakery here! The ladies inside were super sweet and helpful, plus the cupcakes I got were delicious---as you can tell there's some missing already! I got half a dozen cupcakes (cookies n cream, fruity pebbles, Belgian chocolate, raspberry lemon, Reese's... so many good flavors!). The icing isn't too sweet either, it's a whipped icing on the cupcakes I've eaten so far. It's also a bonus for me that there isn't a mountain of super sugary icing on top of them, don't want the icing to dominate the cupcake!Everything is decently priced as well. It's about 3 bucks and some change per cupcake. I also got one macaron (Thai tea flavored) and this BIG peanut butter and jelly sugar cookie sandwich (...I know weird!but it was good!). Overall, I enjoyed my experience here, great atmosphere, good sweets, and nice service. My daughter and I have been here multiple times and have thoroughly enjoyed each visit. The staff is so friendly and helpful, describing each dessert when asked and offering suggestions. I've loved everything I have tried so far. My favorite is the connoncini, my daughter loves the fruit tart. Every cupcake we've tried has been fabulous. Their buttercream is the lightest and most buttery I've ever tasted and not too heavy with sweetness. You're not left with a heavy film in your mouth like most dessert shops I've visited. We enjoy dining in and feel very comfortable and wlecpme there. The owner and employees are warm and inviting and the entire atmosphere leaves me feeling refreshed and treated. I hope this dessert shop sticks around for manny more years. It's, by far, our most favorite one we've ever visited. Their apparel is decently priced and washes/wears wonderfully. read more

Called to ask if they had any gluten free items and they mentioned that they sold GF things on Fridays. I went in three separate Fridays and not one GF thing was being sold that day. I've never been to this place before because I'm fairly new to Beaumont, I always check the reviews before I go to places and the reviews were really bad so I did not know what to expect. But when I went into Sachi's the environment was sooo nice and vibrant! The employee in the front was very nice and I had asked her so many questions and she was very patient! I had gotten the brookie and the vanilla Christmas cupcake and it was AMAZING!!! The establishment probably had gotten new employees because I really cannot see why people could write bad things about this place!! I REALLY wish I could try the macaroons!! The workers did not try to help me decide what to get or make any kind of small talk. I have been here twice, and I like how their icing is lighter. I think it's called buttercream, but I'm not sure. It's not as heavy as regular icing. I will say that the prices are very expensive. I am pretty sure the owner went to school for culinary arts, but it's hard for me to justify spending so much for a cupcake or cookie, so I unfortunately can't go here that often. I was looking forward to trying this cute place that I've been eyeing on IG and I have to say, the customer service did not match the amazing location. As soon as I walked in they had just finished checking someone out, I wasn't greeted or asked "Can I help you?" Nothing. Since it was my first time there, I wanted to try everything so I added a little of everything. I felt rushed the whole time as I was being glared down on (tall beautiful girl). I added something last minute as she was boxing and she didn't even disguise her annoyance. I payed my $39 and left. No thank you.. no have a nice day. Since I had snapped that I was there, a friend asked me to get her some goodies. I dreaded going back in but, anything for my friend. The girls seemed a little more "upbeat" (no talking just smiling) because I'm guessing, the owner, was there. I ordered 4 oatmeal pies and the owner said, "throw 2 more in there, I'm feeling happy today." The tall girl kinda just rolled her eyes. I paid the $20 and left. Again, no thank you.. no have a nice day.. nothing. Overall, the treats were good! The only thing I wasn't too fond of was the almond cannoli, it was bland and a little stale. I live 20-30 min away and don't mind the drive for good food and service but I don't think this will become a frequently visited location because of the horrible service. What a shame. read more
