No food, and only outside seating, so come here for a great selection of IPAs on a sunny day (there are big tents set up so no problem if it do us sprinkle a bit). I ordered a sample of four IPAs out of their offerings of three IPAs and three dbl IPAs. My wife has celiac, so she had the seltzer. Interesting that the seltzer on tap has no flavor, but they offer 5-7 syrups to add to the seltzer to make the flavor you want. Good service and reasonable prices. read more

Small brewery with some great beers in the Fryeburg area. Stopped by here during my stay in North Conway. Saco River Brewing was easily one of the better breweries I stopped at in the area -highly recommend going. The beers are great. I tried their Imperial Milk Stout, Flip Flop #50 IPA, and D.O.T. Czech Pilsner. Flip Flop was my favorite, left with a 4-pack on my way out. When I went there was food trucks as well serving a few different things, burgers being one of them. read more

SRB puts out fantastic NE style IPAs. They honestly do a better job than most of the big guys and I love that they distribute in the Portland area. The space is rustic and cozy. It's sort of a garage type situation, and the place was pretty packed with locals soon after opening. I got a flight of 4 pours (2 IPAs, 1 porter, 1 sour), and they were all really great. The Flip Flop ipa is their rotating hop ipa, which we ended up buying a 4 pack of to bring home. Very nice staff, really glad they opened up shop where they did and are enriching the community! read more

I went here yesterday to try their beer. Never heard of the place, just did a search on DuckDuckGo and found this business. WOW - Damn glad I did, the beer is some of the best I have had around...period! The hops and ingredients they use are tremendous...it is pure magic. Every beer I tasted was top notch: Ephemeral Pilot Series - Strata DIPA, Ha Ha DIPA, Barrel Aged Milk Stout 500ml, Sweet Fern Saison, Murder Hornets DIPA, etc. I learned from the owner and the Hops guru that most of their hops comes from New Zealand. After drinking these beers, everyone should get these hops! Purchased way more beer than I planned but how could I not take this liquid gold with me. Forgot to add...their beers have potent amounts of alcohol...Win/Win. Check them out! read more

I love this place. Really, all their beers are excellent. Their rotation is a little heavy on IPA's but they have a delicious brown ale and a few porters that are excellent too. But what really makes it is the vibe they've created. It's a wonderful local gathering place, diverse crowd, live music, good food trucks, and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Stopped here to check out the brewery and get a growler. Also, to eat lunch at the Lab restaurant that apparently moved to another town. Service- talk about service? This place had the type of service you would expect from a small hardworking brewery. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the gentleman behind the bar. He offered tastings of their IPA because I said I was interested in getting a growler. Extremely nice, and was holding court with the other patrons at the full counter. This guy could work the room. If he wasn't the owner, then he sure fooled me. He did not want us to leave without a positive experience. Atmosphere- tables with umbrellas outside. Nice and easy parking. Couple cornhole boards and bags set up outside. Inside, it is a L shaped space with the small L being the bar area where all the action is. Not the most efficient use of space, but they still make it work. Behind the bar is a glass wall separating the tasting area from where the magic happens. All the brewing equipment looks well organized, and clean. The prices, sizes, and types of beer are written on the glass, and it looks very sharp. There is a rod and reel with a fish on the wall above the taps, which is most likely a nod to the river/nearby lakes. Product- I came away with a growler of their flip flop IPA after having a pint outside. Very flavorful and balanced. Tasted fruity and fresh, but not sugary or too sweet. The growler had a very pleasing logo and same with the glasses. Overall, lots of thought went into the beer and their vessels. read more

Spectacular beer in a beautiful rural town. The Ancient Galaxies DIPA is hands down one of the best juicy/creamy IPAs I've had.

One wouldn't think craft beer in the small town of Fryberg Maine, but guess what, you can find that exact thing at the Saco Brewing Company. This afternoon I stopped by with some family members for some tasting. We all agreed that the Old Porter was the best of the day. We had a split decision between the one with coffee and the one without. read more

My family and I are vacationing in the area this week and were tipped off by the nice lady at the nearest liquor store who said, "Hey, come back and check out the brewery next door!" Boy are we glad we did! My husband and I ended up spending a couple hours there just sampling and chatting away. Mason and Jen were so helpful giving us local tips on everything from hiking to seafood restaurants. And goodness, the BEER! These people really know what they're doing. I highly recommend their IPAs... and I don't even typically like IPAs! We filled up a growler of the Driftwood which was well received by the rest of my family. Overall, 5/5, can't say enough nice things, will def return on Friday, wish we lived closer! read more

Great little brewery. I got a flight and my husband got an IPA. On Saturday, they were out of 2/8 beers I wanted to try but the ones I did try were excellent. Their Flip Flop IPA was such a good beer. The brewery has a big space with plenty of seating and they have a separate area in the front if it gets crowded. It wasn't very busy when we were there on a Saturday afternoon. read more

There are a lot of beer choices in the valley and Saco River Brewing really holds its own! In fact, I would say, as a whole, they have the best offerings around. Other breweries could have a beer or two that really stand out but SRB is solid across the board. I've never had a beer I didn't like from them. read more

This brewery is a secret gem of western Maine ! The brewers take such pride in their product and it really shows in the quality of the beer - absolutely delicious. And they have a wide selection from pilsner to pale ales to IPA's, a brown and porters. All so good, you can't go wrong, it'll just depend on your mood. This is def an up-and-coming brewery soon to hit Maine and NH by storm! read more

We wanted to pop into Maine to tick that travel box, grab a beer and head back to our hotel. We stayed for 3 hours and didn't want to leave! The beer was great and the owners were wonderful. We felt right at home. We will be back to visit and this time will stay closer to the brewery so that we can visit more! I look forward to seeing how much they grow! read more

The coffee stout is excellent. I love dark brews and sometimes they are hard to find in this era of IPAs.
