Currently, this establishment is a ciderery, not a winery. After speaking with the young lady behind the counter, Alpine Garden has been in business for a year. There are 9 ciders to choose from...4 that they made and 5 Dube & Robinson made. Their grapes are not currently producing sufficient quantities to make wine. Tasting two ounce pours are $3 each. Seems like it has a lot of potential.

This is the treehouse we stayed in :).

Fast service. It was lobster fest, or lobster specials. The sea scallops were huge & cook perfectly, shrimp was also cooked perfect. The onion soup was one of the best, highly recommend. The outdoor tables were fantastic--it was raining pretty good but they're very covered, we stayed plenty dry and enjoyed the open air (see pics for the view!). Our server, Jordan, was prompt, professional, and had some helpful recommendations. Versus most restaurants on the main road in Lincoln I'd say the prices here are a bit higher and the portions are a bit smaller, but the quality is a significant step up too. Salmon was great, and I really enjoyed the risotto in particular. The salad also had an apple cider vinegarette dressing that felt very homemade (I think there were little chunks of apple in it). The Rhythm Ciders were fantastic, the flight came with generous 5 ounce pours (the seasonal was my personal favorite). Our experience was far from that described in some of the negative reviews. Our server checked on us a number of times, the manager came by two or three times, and everything came exactly as ordered. Maybe there were some growing pains when they first moved to this space, but they've certainly been worked out now--this will be a go-to for us when we want a nicer dinner in the area. I would assume only service dogs allowed, as you need to walk through the restaurant to reach the outdoor seating and it's on a balcony.

Many of the beers aren't available out west, but apples to apples, this place beats any beer shop I've ever found back home...or nearly anywhere I've been. The cooler is organized well by locale, by types, separating out hard ciders and seltzers. Outside the coolers they've got many different bottles from here and abroad. A good selection of stouts, some lambics... And they have a lot of mead products, locally produced. I didn't try them, but can't wait to one of these trips. Best part, the owners/staff are super kind and personable, and knowledgeable. Last summer I stopped in and asked him, "if I can only take one 4-pack, which would you guarantee and stake your reputation on?" He gave me what turned out to be one of my favorite beers, an IPA from Great North. This stop, they didn't have it, but he ordered it for me, and gave me another 4-pack he guarantee I'd like. Haven't tried it yet, but have no doubt it'll be great. I was in here today and all the customers were excited and going through the same decidophobia I've faced here. There are grilled cheese sandwiches for sale upstairs. I'll continue to make stops here on my way to where I'm going.

The most STUNNING wedding venue! My cousin got married here this summer and it was so perfect…read more There was a seperate barn on the property where the night before was held. There was a bar, we did trivia, and not to mention the jaw dropping views of the mountains in the distance. Super homey and warm vibe to everything here. The main barn was used for the actual wedding reception itself (DJ booth, long tables, an upstairs area overlooking, and massive barn doors that open out to the stunning view). Couldn't suggest this venue more!!

----- Concise Review…read more Wonderful wedding + reception ----- Longer Review We traveled to South Tamworth, New Hampshire, by way of Boston, MA and then North Conway, NH, for the wedding of our niece to her husband. The trip was brief - Thursday evening to Sunday, but filled with family and fun. Our niece and (now) nephew selected whiteface hollow for the wedding and reception. whiteface hollow - a fantastic barn + house + winery in South Tamworth, NH. The wedding ceremony was outside, in the field, under a large maple tree, and the reception was in the barn. The property has parking in an open space amid trees... the sky is visible but the trees also provide shading to keep the intense heat off the vehicles. The property has a gentle hillside, leading to the grape vines, with a beautiful view of the White Mountains off in the distance... the view was beautiful in the afternoon and phenomenal with that night's sunset! The owner shared that the barn is original wood - interior... the floors and walls are new boards created when they brought a saw mill onsite to cut the wood from trees on the property. The barn had plenty of room for the 18 tables for guests + a dance floor for all of us.. with space for food, and the bar downstairs, and two spaces upstairs (no walls, but balcony rails). Speaking of the bar... they served inside and also through a window to the outside... the blueberry lemonade is very tasty! The winery isn't producing yet but the building is there, and we enjoyed brunch the next morning - nice! And the painting of the property over the bar is wonderful artwork. The owner and her crew were great... so helpful; we were guests so we didn't have the stress, but we could see things were well planned and executed smoothly. Thank you, whiteface hollow, for such a wonderful wedding + reception for our niece and nephew! ----- ----- -----

The winery consistently adds to the enjoyment of my timeshare weeks. My absolute favorite is the wine slushies--I look forward to them every year and couldn't wait for them to return in the spring and summer months. We had flights and tasted all of their ciders. Ironically our mutual favorite was a hopped cider. It was literally the only one we liked. At least for now, it seems they should stick to wine. They have a little seating area outside that was comfortable and nice to relax at.
