I'm finding that one star reviews are not a one off thing so I feel the people of Yelp need to hear a recent interaction. (This family member lives in Sun City which is right across the street. Even though this is an older community and they don't use social media THEY still all talk. Not smart regarding their staff and the longevity of this business) When my family member went in to pick up their new glasses/prescription the interaction was very quick. There was zero care on how my family member felt and if adjustments needed to be made. My family member went home to decide if they could live with the new glasses. It was determined that a slight adjustment was needed. Upon calling to reschedule they were very irritated with the request on the phone. Once a time was scheduled to go into the office, the office manager was very rude. My family member felt like they had been deemed a "problem customer" when she had checked in and how they were speaking to them. In this interaction the manager had conveyed that something was going on in THEIR home life that was potentially causing their horrible bedside manner. Long story short my family member has moved on to a more caring/customer service based business and will NEVER BE BACK. This family member actually gave the actual doctor great praise BUT the office staff and office manager were extremely rude. This poor doctor/business owner is losing business. Very sad.

In August my husband had a major bicycle crash and shattered his shoulder. He needed a total shoulder replacement. It was a bit of a wait and pain management was an issue. This doctor refused to help, said Tylenol should be enough for his shoulder that was broken into 6 pieces. Fortunately the ER and urgent care doctors were on board with pain management. When the surgeon had a cancellation so he could do the shoulder replacement sooner, my husband needed an urgent pre-op EKG but she refused to find time to do it. He had to wait several more days with his shattered shoulder. Later he had a regular physical and bloodwork. His prostate numbers were very high, and he reported that he was having issues with urinating as well as several family members with prostate cancer including his Dad! She said that was normal for his age. She REFUSED to refer him for an MRI or to see the urologist. He went to see a different doctor in the same practice on an urgent appointment and mentioned it. shout out to Dr Posten who said oh, that needs to be checked. MRI showed enlarged irregularly shaped prostate with shadows. Biopsy was done. Last week my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Imagine if he'd stayed with Dr Azad's crappy advice. This doctor is not a good doctor. She is a gatekeeper to treatment. She does not give a crap about what's best for patients. Stay away.
