One of my favorite birthday traditions is getting an aura photo every year to see how my energy has evolved over time. I was first introduced to aura photography by a practitioner in Santa Ana, but after she moved out of state, I started looking for another place and found Sacred Flight. The shop is located in Los Feliz and has a cozy, spiritual vibe. They carry a beautiful selection of crystals, singing bowls, and other wellness items that are fun to browse before or after your session. The staff was welcoming and took the time to explain the process, making the experience feel both relaxing and meaningful. The aura photo session was about $65, and it included a printed photo along with a brief reading explaining what each of the colors represented. The only downside was parking. It was by far the most challenging part of my visit. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit and thought the experience was a good value for something so unique. I also heard they've opened a second location in Pasadena, and I'm looking forward to checking that one out for my next birthday tradition. read more

We had Sacred Light set up an Aura Photography booth at our Son's wedding welcome party, and we couldn't be happier with their service. It was the hit of the party and still weeks later people are talking about it and sharing their photos, discussing the results. Arlene and Dakota were the consummate professionals, who handled a very difficult set-up obstacle course at the venue as though it were no problem at all. This has been somewhere I have been wanting to go for such awhile. Today, my husband and I finally had the opportunity to explore and experience its greatness. We did an aura photograph together. It was well worth the price and the drive. The miss working gave us a mini reading on our aura and it was spot on with how we are as a couple. I loved the selection of crystals there was to offer. There were many I hadn't known myself and I use to work for a crystal shop!! I loved the entire vibe of the shop and took videos of everything so I could make a Tik Tok video. I am definitely looking forward to returning and enjoying some shopping and another photo. Parking was the only difficulty we had. As people who live in the High Desert and I'm not familiar with LA area, I thought there would be better parking. I now know - that doesn't exist in LA. But the parking adventure made the trip just that more fun as we experienced a new adventure together!! read more

This fabulous discovery in Los Feliz, Los Angeles, CA, belongs to my current, 'Adventures of Upscale LA, CA Crystal Shops' Collection,' series for this Winter Season/2024. I've been re-decorating my room with these Crystals I have been hauling all over Upscale Los Angeles vicinities is due to being a LA Native. This was an extremely relaxing Crystal Shop in Los Angeles, CA. I was looking for local biz to support around LA's more upscale areas, and I found this Crystal Shop in between the border of Los Angeles and Burbank, CA. Sacred Light appeared extremely a peaceful shop as soon as I walked in. Right when I walked in, Heather immediately greeted me and sent extreme warm welcomes. I told her I located the shop from using Yelp. As soon as she heard that, she offered a personal tour of the shop explaining to me all sections of the table displays from the entire shop which helped easing the way to shop for me. When other customers were coming in while I was shopping, I learned that they hold a super cool Photo Booth which was called the 'Aura Photo Booth,' if you would like to take your personal Aura picture inside the booth. That service might come across a tad pricey, but it was so worthwhile. I'll share my Aura pic too later. I spent quite a bit of time here like at least an hour or almost two. It took awhile deciding what to buy since there were so much to read from all variations of crystals' displays. I poked a hole in my wallet here, but it was totally worth the trip!!!! I may return for another Aura picture with a different top. Will be back for another visit soon, 'Sacred Light,' of Los Angeles, CA., you made my whole week!!!! Right before I took off this Crystal Shop, Heather provided me 1 piece of a great advice, 'don't ever let any one use you in any way.' I've been to an Aura Polaroid reading 2 years ago and wanted to do it again to see any growth and changes since. The place I've gone to has been booked all the way until February and I could never catch them with an opening! Luckily, I found Sacred Light which offers the same thing AND MORE! Each session is $55 each and unique to your own aura. There is a board with explantation of the colors and the wonderful owner gives her insight as well. We unfortunately were running a bit late but they have great communication with their customers and even stayed a bit after for us! Entering the space, you definitely feel the amazing energy. This is a solid space for crystals, candles, and occasional sound baths. I went over here this past weekend, since I love anything metaphysical and esoteric. The space has an awesome vibe. I love how the crystals are organized according to color. The crystals are averaged price considering the owner carefully hand selects them. I go to gem faire, which offers wholesale pricing so that is my comparison, but for the area and convenience the price point is understandable. I purchased a candle from magic hour -- which is based in Oregon and hand poured. You can really feel the vibration of this candle. I also many years ago went to a sound bath in a different location and it was decent. Parking is street parking. read more

Super cute shop with all sorts of beautiful crystals, with lots of variety too! From small stones to palm stones and even bracelets, there's a ton of great finds here. I've also been to a sound bath here, which was so well led and was super soothing and grounding. If you're in the area or just had breakfast at the Alcove I definitely recommend swinging by!! Parking may be a bit hard to find along the street, so you may have better luck in the nearby neighborhoods. read more

Place was inviting,welcoming. I got an aura reading done for a fair price and experience. Parking was a bit tricky but not too bad.

This is for the aura reading: it's almost $65 for this: they take your photo, put it in a paper frame, and show you a paper that has a few words describing each color. Not worth it. For $65, an actual in depth reading should be given, explaining the things like bands, spots, the different colors and "holes" in the aura, etc. This is NOT a good value and it was very disappointing. I was told they do give a short reading on weekends, but they also said they're going to start charging extra for that. Seriously?! Not worth it. read more

So this last weekend i took my friends down to LA to shop at this store and the one next to it. This is in regards to their sound bath service. For the money I paid, half the session was some woman talking. It wasn't so much a guided meditation as it felt like someone continuously reciting half hearted self help quotes. Plus she interjected with her own ideologies which is frustrating when you're trying to form your own journey. As soon as she did stop talking, someone had fallen asleep and was snoring for the remaining 30 minutes of meditation, which they made minor attempts to stop them, but not enough to interrupt THEIR experience, so THEY continued to interrupt everyone else's. Overall it was a thoroughly disappointing and useless experience for me. Would've loved to have gotten my money back. read more

My friend arranged a private birthday Sound Bath at Sacred Light and it was amazing. I'm still relaxed and feeling meditative. The space is calm, warm and inviting. Happened to be in LA and wanted to explore a spiritual shop in the area. Found a few results, and despite this shop only having one review I decided to go. So happy with my decision. The energy was amazing and everyone was so nice and helpful. The crystal and jewelry selection was better than every other store I've visited in OC (including gem faires). Even got a good suggestion for a podcast . I would love to go back for more plus a sound bath (yes, shop does yoga, sound bath, new moon, etc.) if I happen to be in the area at the right time, but really glad there is also an online store.
