Jen is a wonderful person, and was very kind and communicative about walking me through this process. More about my specific experience below. Decided to get energy work done on a lark, because why not? I'm not a believer in a higher power, but felt that it was best to approach the process as a beginner, with an open heart and mind, and see what happened. I was shocked to find that, whatever was happening in that room, I could definitely feel some physical and psychological impact, ranging from a weight in my chest (sitting across the room just talking about my issues with my mother) and heightened emotions related to my "inner child" (where I verged on tears every time those words were spoken), to tingling in my hands and arms. By the end of the session, I was calm and relaxed, having been walked through a range of exercises and given my inner child some love with guided visualization. While I don't necessarily believe in past lives or spirits, I think that many of the insights that Jen had into my character, such as calling out the physical weight I could feel in my chest without my mentioning it to her, addressing my disconnect with my inner child, and telling me to go out and do things that I already love and find energizing but have gotten away from in the grind of life, were helpful to me. I would advise anyone seeking energy work, whatever your level of experience, to go in with an open mind and see what can happen for you.
