We discovered this store a few years ago during one of our visits. Now it's an annual stop. We LOVE this store. We've found something to purchase each time, but just spending time in the yard, walking around and looking at all the amazing items is fun and relaxing. The woman who manages the store is super friendly and helpful and seems to enjoy how happy everyone that comes in appears. The items are unique, priced fairly and good quality. Really cute little statuary store! They have garden statues such as Buddha, Thai style and large concrete planters. We stopped in and the lady was really nice, she sold us a cool garden statue and a tree. They also have some indoor items such as home decor and clothing. read more

Another place that gets five stars! We were staying at the Dolphin Inn motel and this store was not far from where we stayed! Where do I start? It's the incense burning and the really nice staff. Their clothing section was very comfortable and classy looking- if I weren't at the end of the spending rope on this last trip that we took, I would have liked to have bought their pants! The jewelry is spread out throughout one of the stores (there's two in the same area that are one store together). The jewelry is spread out at the farthest shop at the end. Their prices are extraordinary for homemade crafts and jewelry. Some jewelry was priced as sets. They carry some of the coolest and funkiest imported gifts and decor items that you're going to find anywhere. Sacred Woods is not easy to find, but it's well worth the effort to pay them a visit. There's three main "showrooms" at their facility. In the outdoor area you'll find their outdoor home and garden items laid out for display. Then there's two indoor showrooms. Wow! I definitely recommend this place, my daughter recommended it to me. It's a hidden gem. I can't believe we haven't been there before. My fiancé and I were there on Sunday. Not only are there beautiful statues and garden pieces in the yard area, there are 2 buildings full of all kinds of beautiful things. I am obsessed with this beautiful little gem tucked away in the Noyo Harbor! The immediately eye-catching collection of gorgeous hand-carved statues in the front garden drew me in initially... and I continued to walk around for hours in awe of the gorgeous hand crafted jewelry, authentic Thai paintings, Balinese light fixtures, one of a kind sarongs and head scarves.. a yogis dream store. Rachelle, the owner, has quite an eye for the fine imported pieces without the tourist-location prices of other stores. I wanted to buy everything in the store and I will continue to travel back all the way from Santa Barbara until my collection is completed over years to come. read more

We were on a short weekend trip to Mendocino .... me and my husband were looking for a place for lunch and crossed this shop, from the outside it looked like a mini park of stone and wood statues. I had to stop and take a quick look and was I glad I did. I didn't purchase any thing nor was I intending to but just a visit was a beautiful experience. I am from India and am fond of Indian god/goddesses wood carved peaces .... Sacred Woods had a beautiful collection. I stepped in the area and it took me 5 minutes to take in every thing I was looking at. I was thrilled to see such intricate peaces here in the US. A must visit, next time I am there I would love to purchase a few things as well. I couldn't meet Rachelle Zachary the owner I believe as she was in Thailand for a business trip, but met the lady at the counter, I don't recall her name but she was welcoming and warm. read more
