    Smoked Salmon Burger

This is a beautiful restaurant. When I walked in, I didn't realize it was a vegan spot. I was familiar with the location because it used to be an art gallery. The music was excellent, and they were playing music videos on the tv. Parking is a bit limited in the back but I came in on a weekday. I had the Smoked Salmon Burger with Black Beans and Black Rice. I enjoyed the burger and beans. I didn't enjoy the rice so much. The service here was great along with the staff. Overall, I enjoyed my experience. UPDATE: I just founded out this is closed.

I always love finding great food in my community. Sadiq's Bistro is at the top of the list. I've passed it several times not knowing it was a vegan spot. It sits on the corner of Cambelton Road and Fairburn. There is limited parking in the back and you can miss it so if you are going North on Fairburn, turn into the parking lot on your left before you reach the light. Once you walk inside you see a great area of seating, TVs and a nice bar. It's very clean and it looks like they have or can have events there to the right. There is a raised platform and a mic so it is not far fetched to have an open mic or a band. The decor is cherry wine wood high boy tables and regular 4 seaters. The walls are beautiful with Egyptian textured murals. Their menu is very good and reasonable. Not overwhelming at all. You can get a wrap or bowl for $12 and can 5 items. Kind of like chipotle but better fresher food. I had a bowl with Jackfruit and it was amazing!! I wanted something different and I am glad I did. The African yam from the grill was nice and sweet which was unexpected since it looked like a red potato. The bowl itself was a nice portion and spicy which I didn't care for but I couldn't stop eating the food! I will be back again. The staff is very nice. Try their vegan banana pudding!

    Chicken and rib combo

First time going and it was a nice experience. Cashier was very friendly and recommended a chicken & rib combo so that I could try several things. I got Mac & Cheese and collard greens as the sides. The food was very good however, only constructive feedback is that they should put let sauce on the items. My plate was drowned in sauce as you can see in my picture listed. Wait time was very quick. Will definitely go back!

Omfg ! Where do I start ? This food is amazing. The smoothie was amazing. Everything is made to order. I can't believe I've lived in the area and it took me one year to order from here !!

I've passed by this restaurant @ least 20x. It's very close to my home. I'm upset that I haven't ate here before. Shame on me! I'm not vegetarian or vegan but their food is so flavorful. I ordered a bowl w/ Jackfruit, black beans, black rice, mushroom, and tomatoes. The seasoning on the table is salt and cayenne pepper. My beverage choice was the homemade sorrel in a bottle, poured half into a cup of ice. It was AMAZING! I'm going to visit again and probably switch up the items until I cover half the menu. Entree = $12.00 Beverage = $3.50 Add taxes and it's a hearty meal = $16.58

    Senegalese Whole Fish

Awesome food! The first restaurant that I've visited that had Forbidden Rice (black rice) available. I had the whole Senegalese fish with Forbidden Rice and Kale greens and it was super. I eat 80% of my meals without meat and they have an ample selection of vegetarian options.

Visiting from Los Angeles I had no clue this was a vegan spot. I simply stopped because I saw a huge bbq pit in the back. THIS IS THE BEST BBQ I HAVE HAD SO FAR IN MY LIFE!! No lie! The real smoky flavor throughout every piece of meat gosh I almost didn't want to put sauce on it .it was so damn good. I got 1/2 chicken w macaroni and and greens. Now they were out of a lot! Out of wings, I got the last of the macaroni. They gave me a chicken sausage instead I never had it and WOW it was good taste kinda like gumbo rolled up in a smoked sausage! The greens were good just less stems please macaroni and cheese was good!! Now its definitely a hood spot but the young guys working were so nice. 5 stars from me. Praying for prosperity for your business

Best meal we've had in a while!

The food was amazing! I'm vegetarian but my fiance isn't so I'm always on the lookout for compromise restaurants. This was a godsend for us. He had a chicken bowl and I had a jackfruit bowl. Both were so flavorful and generously portioned. We both have enough to eat on again. The sorrel was a huge surprise as well. It was delicious on its own but sipped after eating a bowl and BAM!!! Your tastebuds will be back flipping with joy. Make sure you get some of the vegan sauce too. It sets everything off.

Laid back new place, easy menu to choose from. Home made ginger brew, I had the chicken wrap and it was the bomb. They have a real smoker at back :-)

Very slow. Extremely slow. Closes early. The bbq taste good but the sides need some help.

The woman who took my order was nice. I got the lamb bowl...I didn't like it personally. It just wasn't what I thought it was going to be.

Paper Plane is a really cool spot not too far from the airport. The restaurant itself is spacious and seems like it could comfortably accommodate everything from a solo lunch or small group to a pretty large party. The staff was incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived--just good energy all around. For starters, we ordered the potstickers and coconut shrimp. And really... can you ever go wrong with coconut shrimp? Both were a great way to start the meal. For our entrées, my friend ordered the Pad Kee Mao at medium spice, while I went with the pineapple fried rice with shrimp. Mine absolutely hit the spot, but I will admit I was looking over at those noodles because they looked GOOD. And apparently I wasn't done being nosy because I also spotted the crab meat fried rice on another table nearby, so now I already have at least two things on my list to try when I come back. Of course, let's discuss parking! Parking is free, but the lot can be a little tight. If you're coming with a larger group, I'd personally recommend carpooling if possible just to make things easier. Overall, Paper Plane delivered exactly what I wanted from an offsite lunch: great food, welcoming service, plenty of space, and an atmosphere that made it easy to sit back and enjoy ourselves. I'll definitely be returning--and next time, somebody else's plate won't have to tell me what to order.

For the most part, people seemed to enjoy it so I was convinced I should check it out. The restaurant is located inside of the Hilton airport Hotel. There is a secure parking lot that requires you to pull a ticket when you enter. The restaurant will validate the parking ticket for you ! When I walked in I was greeted by a staff member and seated immediately. Shortly after I was seated my wait staff came over and introduced herself. She took my drink order and said she would allow me time to look over the menu. I asked my wait staff her thoughts on the Mac and cheese. I am picky about eating Mac and cheese from places. Most don't know how to make real Mac & cheese ( if you know what I mean)! She told me it was pretty solid. - As such I ordered the following: Crab bisque Smoked chicken wing plate served with two sides: Mac & cheeses and asparagus were my picks! The crab bisque did take a long time to come out. It was so delayed that my main course came out shortly after the soup. It was not ideal, but I made it work! The crab bisque was solid. I would order it again. The wing plate also exceeded my expectations! I was impressed with the mac and cheese. The asparagus were large, which was concerning to me! Like how did they get so big? Steroids? Nonetheless, they were cooked to perfection! I did get the banana pudding to go- this was the only item I would not order again! It was basic and I only took a few bites and ended up trashing it . Overall I would reconned this spot! Service was spot on- and for a hotel restaurant the food is pretty good!

They charged tip automatically and it made me feel like they forced me to pay for service I did not received.
