Gutbusters is one of my go-to breakfast spots when I want something that's actually going to hit I usually go for the salmon croquettes and baby... they do not disappoint. Crispy on the outside, seasoned just right, and always fresh. You can tell it's made with care, not just thrown together. The portions are also really good, so you're definitely leaving full. The vibe is chill and no-frills, but that's part of the charm. Service is pretty quick, and the staff keeps things moving while still being friendly. I had heard of the great reviews of Gutbusters and it definitely lived up to the reviews. The pancakes were a nice size wish they had crispy edges though. The cheese grits were creamy and the cheese eggs were so soft and fluffy. The salmon croquettes had a good flavor but I feel they were cooked a little too long because of the dark coloring. I normally eat off of it for 2 days because you get that much food, I believe I paid 8.99 or 9.99 for all this food. The prices are extremely reasonable. They do have a few tables where you can sit down to eat. They also serve via the fountain & its free refills a Peach, Fruit Punch drink & Sweet Tea, everyone purchases these drinks. When I purchased the Peach Tea I use it as a chaser for my cocktails. Lol. They also have chicken, pork, turkey & beef sausage mear options. Depending on how much you eat, these meals can be shared or saved for later. IF YOU ARE VISITING ATLANTA I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU CHECK THEM OUT. They have a location in Decatur as well. I can't believe that after all of these great years in Atlanta, I'm just getting to try Gutbusters. Shame on me! I didn't visit the restaurant in person, but I came across them one afternoon when I was looking for a quick lunch for delivery. The variety of options available on the menu was so diverse, it was difficult to choose what I wanted. Luckily, their prices are so reasonable and they offer some great combos, so I decided to go with a few different bites. The beef philly cheesesteak (+ peppers) was my main item - It was good, but nowhere near the tastiest cheesesteak I've had in the city. Didn't expect it to be authentic but I think it could have used more cheese and flavor. Not bad though! The wings were my delicious and fried hard. Not my usual preference but they were so fresh and crunchy, I see the appeal now. I went with honey garlic + lemon pepper sprinkles, extra wet. They weren't extra wet sadly, but the flavor of the honey garlic + those sprinkles really sealed the deal. I wish I had ordered more! The fries were the frozen type but I found a few that were still hot and seasoned, I wish I had them right out of the fryer/oven because I think they would have been much better. The rasta pasta blew my mind because it was only $5 with chicken?! I don't know if that was a typo or what, but I went for it lol. My bf likes rasta pasta so I always get it if I see it on a menu. He wished there was more jerk sauce in the pasta but we had some in the fridge that he ended up adding in. Once he doctored it up a bit, he seemed to enjoy it. With a name like Gutbusters, I think you should know the experience that you should expect when you walk into the Atlanta, Georgia restaurant. Breakfast seems to be the popular meal here and overall, I enjoyed my meal. The ambiance and vibe was pleasant enough and the service was friendly enough. This review is based on an Uber eats order. The food was prepared and delivered in a timely fashion but they did not give me blue cheese or ranch for the wings, even though I made a note asking for blue cheese. I ordered 5 wings (honey garlic) and 6" cheesesteak combo. The fries were basic crinkle cut fries, they tasted fresh but had not a lick of salt or seasoning on them. The wings were probably the worst wings I've had in Atlanta. They were cold, soggy, and flavorless. The cheesesteak however, was delicious. It is not your basic steak and cheese cheesesteak, it's loaded with onions, a variety of peppers and dressed with mayo, mustard, and ketchup. The only thing that would make it better is a buttered up and toasted bun. I would order a cheesesteak from them again but I will never order wings again. read more

Not really... :-( The fries were not seasoned at all, so we barely ate any of them. My husband, and son, said their lemon pepper wings were good. My son ordered #11 which was wings and fish. They gave him strips, and wings. He wasn't pleased. So, since I had 3 pieces of fish with my dinner, I gave him a piece of mine. The fish didn't have any seasoning on them. I ate one piece, and put a lot of ketchup and tarter sauce on it. My Husband had a cheese burger, and wings. He said the burger didn't have any seasoning on it, but they did put alot of mayonnaise and ketchup on it. He also requested bacon on his sandwich. The customer service is pretty much ghetto southern hospitality if you understand what I mean. But in a good, friendly way. An 82 Health Score provides a sketchy welcome, but isn't actually wholly unsurprising. The customer service is middle of the road, depending on the day and time and if there's more than 2 or 3 people ahead of you, you may wanna factor in how important your time is, as it relates to food, because it's probably gonna be an exercise in patience. I've never had any complaints about my food though and the bang for the buck is pretty good, outside of the more recent "Customer Service" charge that's placed on all orders. It seems like I'm always disappointed when dining in this area and this restaurant was no exception. I was really looking forward to a good tasting sub and hopefully have a go to restaurant for sandwiches. Take a look at my pic for my veggie sub, it doesn't even look appetizing; how can a sandwich shop mess up a veggie sandwich. I tried to force myself to eat it because I don't like wasting money but I couldn't. The mushrooms tasted like they came from a can, cheese tasted strange and it was too much mustard. They were busy so the little old short lady that bags and hands you your order directed me to cashier by the drink machine, the black lady that wears glasses. Her customer service sucked! These folks are CROOKS! We placed an order for 2 12in Beyond Philly's on 12/21 at 6:39pm. As per the site (in several places), we confirmed the address AND checked their hours. We place our order, get email confirmation it'll be ready at 6:57, and arrive 10 minutes later. Tell me why we find a sign on the door saying THEY CLOSED AT 4:00 PM!!!! I was upset, but I figured the pending $41.92 (including tip) would eventually fall off b/c no food was collected. I log into my bank account 20 mins ago and noticed they cleared the transaction on 12/23!! REALLY?! No call, no email from them, yet completed the transaction. I can deal with the 45 minute wait times, the super cramped dining area, and even the inconsistencies with customer service, but this was the last straw.
