I was pleasantly surprised by this spot! I read reviews prior to making the decision to check this spot out. For the most part, people seemed to enjoy it so I was convinced I should check it out. The restaurant is located inside of the Hilton airport Hotel. There is a secure parking lot that requires you to pull a ticket when you enter. The restaurant will validate the parking ticket for you ! When I walked in I was greeted by a staff member and seated immediately. Shortly after I was seated my wait staff came over and introduced herself. She took my drink order and said she would allow me time to look over the menu. I asked my wait staff her thoughts on the Mac and cheese. I am picky about eating Mac and cheese from places. Most don't know how to make real Mac & cheese ( if you know what I mean)! She told me it was pretty solid. - As such I ordered the following: Crab bisque Smoked chicken wing plate served with two sides: Mac & cheeses and asparagus were my picks! The crab bisque did take a long time to come out. It was so delayed that my main course came out shortly after the soup. It was not ideal, but I made it work! The crab bisque was solid. I would order it again. The wing plate also exceeded my expectations! I was impressed with the mac and cheese. The asparagus were large, which was concerning to me! Like how did they get so big? Steroids? Nonetheless, they were cooked to perfection! I did get the banana pudding to go- this was the only item I would not order again! Don't do their breakfast buffet, not worth the price for awesome made to order omelette [maybe 3 orders will justify the price]. Dinner was decent, the brisket was tender and their bbq sauce was tasty... their peach cobbler was a bit lacking... crusty was over battered and doughy to the point of almost being raw... very underwhelming to end a decent meals... breakfast service was non existent and coffee was rancid. They charged tip automatically and it made me feel like they forced me to pay for service I did not received. Not a great way to keep costumers... maybe that's why only hotel guests are forced to eat here... The lobby area and bar was well decorated and had a great ambience. Everything you need to know, right here: Location. Located at the Hilton hotel in Hapeville, this restaurant is on the first floor, just off the lobby. It's fairly big and connected to a long, full-sized bar with televisions, ideal for watching sporting events. The area itself is a little transitory, very close to the airport, with lots of hotels within a few blocks ranging from Econolodge to the Hilton (which is probably the most upscale in this immediate area). Parking. The parking is gated, or you can valet. If you choose the gated self-parking, you will need to take a ticket or enter your credit card to get the arm to go up. The restaurant does validate the parking fee so bring your ticket with you, or if you used your credit card, they'll put the validation sticker on a slip of paper for you to scan. Be aware that if you do use your credit card for entry, you'll need to scan the same credit card to get out along with the validation sticker. Ambiance. Casual but upscale. Very comfortable and relaxing. Service. Service was good the night we went, until we paid the check. Then our water glasses sat empty and no one came back to check on us. Food. Okay. My friend had the salmon which she thought was really good. I had the wedge salad and added steak. Although I ordered the steak medium rare it was well done, very thin, and not a good cut of meat. Chewy and gristly. Would not spend the $11 to add that again. The wedge was good, however. The wine list was good and there was a nice range and selection of local and non-local wines and beers. Plus a full service bar and signature cocktails. Note: One thing to note. We split the bill and my share came to $50. I tipped $10 but got a notice from my credit card company the following day asking if I'd left a 35% tip. Of course I hadn't, so I looked into it and saw they had entered $18 instead of $10. I called the restaurant, gave them my check number and told them the tip had been added incorrectly. They assured me they'd fix it. Four days later, when it hadn't been addressed, I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company to resolve it. Sometimes tips are accidentally added in wrong and sometimes it happens intentionally, but the management's lack of immediate response was concerning. This restaurant is exactly what you expect. The bar staff service was exceptional. The team was kind, attentive, and professional. I struggled with the menu because I didn't want to pick a dish that would be void of flavor. I felt that the pulled pork would be a safe bet. I was wrong. The meat was robbed of smoke. The sandwich was dry, shrimp were bland, ordered sauce and waited 8 more minutes, sandwich was cold. Two orders of French fries were cooked brown. Ordered beef brisket and pulled pork to go, both were bland pulled pork was chopped, and macaroni and cheese was terrible. This is my new favorite spot! I did not have high expectations of the hotel restaurant... The fact I almost didn't go because it was a hotel restaurant. But it was convenient. Anyway, what an amazing welcome from Mr., John. He took care of us from the very beginning. He was so kind and escorted us right to the restaurant. Then our server A. he made exceptional suggestions in terms of what to order from the menu... According to my sister, he makes a main lemon drop martini as well! There's the location. Restaurant is in a hotel lobby... But it is a beautiful lobby. The seating is comfortable. The space is wide open and it look like a great place to watch a game. I would definitely just want to hang out in this space because of the awesome vibe. But most importantly the food! Oh my God, the food! The best steaks I ever had in life. I ordered the steak sandwich I did not have high hopes because steak sandwiches are always a little tough... Not so. This state was amazingly tender. Don't sleep on this restaurant because it's in a Hotel. We 2 nights in a row and both meals were amazing. First night I had the salmon that was cooked perfect with a side of the cheddar smoked grits. I had the best experience while dining here with coworkers! The food was delicious and the drinks were just as good! I had jalapeño cheddar corn bread, fried green tomatoes, crispy chicken sandwich with french fries, and a salad topped with a ton of bacon. I won't even describe the food as I hope the pictures speak for themselves. Service was great as our waiter was friendly and in a good mood. This is located in the Hilton hotel. Restaurant is very nice. Sleek and modern. TVs at the bar. Staff was really nice. We started with the green tomatoes. It was really good. Also had pimento cheese with it. It's only 2 tomatoes though. There was 3 of us. We just wish we were told that to begin with. For my drink I had All That Razz. I loved it. It's a perfect mix. For dinner I had the Coca Cola short rib. That was soooo good! Very tender and well seasoned. The vegetables and mashed potatoes were also great. I would've never known about this place had there not been reviews. It's inside of a hotel so unless I was staying there, it wouldn't have been on my radar. The atmosphere is really nice. The food was great. Service was extremely slow. The waitress was patient and answered all of our menu questions. But it wasn't crowded and our drinks took probably 20 minutes to get to the table. Though the drinks did not disappoint. But from the drinks to the appetizers to the entree... very delayed. I would give it another shot because the food was delicious. From walking in to a welcoming atmosphere to the last bite of an excellent breakfast, this was a wonderful dining experience. There were plenty of delicious drinks to choose from with a fresh juicer and bar service including coffee. We had fresh orange juice and some coffee selections -all delicious (if you're small-town like us, be aware, even plain brewed coffee isn't a free refill). We each got a different breakfast selection, Nutella pancakes with a side of bacon, empanadas with a side of hash browns, chicken and waffles, and breakfast pizza. We had fun chatting, watching the open kitchen, and enjoying the general busyness while we waited (not too long despite the full restaurant). It was a large menu with a lot of delicious sounding food. I struggled to choose, but our server had excellent suggestions. This is inside the Hilton Atlanta Airport hotel. The restaurant and bar are very spacious and open to the hotel lobby and the upper floors via the atrium. The space is nicely appointed and well lit, though that openness can make sound levels loud due to the space. Service: We had a rough start when we arrived, we were seated within a couple minutes, but were then forgotten for 10-15 min, not even water filled let alone drink orders taken. (there were two people on and only 4-tables seated). However, once staff is made aware of our predicament and we got some traction with our waitstaff things went smoothly after that. She treated as well due to the oversight and offered to comp the drinks and or desserts, which was accepted. Service was always friendly and courteous. Drinks: I started with a smoked old fashion, which was fabulous, love the aromatics. My spouse had a southern, sweet tea, and in typical southern fashion, it was deliciously sweet. They smoke their meat in-house: I had the smoked ribs. They had a nice flavorful bark on them, very tender with the bones, just falling out of the meat. They are served with either a vinegar mop sauce (which I didn't have), a Atlanta hot barbecue sauce which actually was the sweeter of the two, and then a nicely slight tangy, with just a bit of heat barbecue sauce. You have a choice of sides, I had the grilled asparagus, which while tender really didn't look grilled but sautéed. I also had the buttermilk Yukon mashed potatoes; excellent, nice and creamy. It's served with two slices of Texas toast, and some pickled onions, tender and a light pickle to them. My spouse had the pulled pork which was pleasantly moist (you don't want dry pulled pork), also served with the asparagus & mashed potatoes, Texas toast and pickled onions. Desserts: Georgia peach cobbler with vanilla bean ice cream, served hot and delicious, with a nice crisp in the bottom of the ramekin. I had the banana pudding which so your classic vanilla pudding & bananas with Nilla wafers served in a wine goblet. After the false start, once we got some traction, everything went great, and the service was exemplary. Throughout our dinner, servers were congregating, talking and laughing with one another, while the few tables that were in the restaurant were not being served. It took an extensive time to order, then 15-20 minutes before a server would come back to the table. Drinks took forever to arrive. Food took even longer. They weren't busy or understaffed - the workers just didn't care. The servers were dismissive and rude to put it nicely. The main reason we ate here is because it was in the lobby of the airport hotel and we already returned the rental car. I wouldn't return - if I stayed at the ATL Hilton again, I would either Uber to a different restaurant or find about any other way to get something for dinner. We never ordered our entrees because no one came back to ask what we wanted. We decided if we need to eat more we will order delivery. Atlanta really needs to invest in the area surrounding the airport. Make it a casino area and let them build casinos with great food and awesome rooms. This is a hotel based restaurant which the food is actually pretty good. I have been here twice and every time I order the fried green tomato's. Very tasty. They make a great steak as well. The service could be better but, it may be due to the times I have gone. One time the server said they were out of everything,and actually weren't. Last time we went, our server was our server and bartender. Not sure why because there was a bartender who was standing around doing nothing. The ambiance is nice, it's in the atrium of the hotel open and cool. So sometimes it's not very inviting. I would go back because of the food. read more

This cute restaurant is located inside of the Hilton hotel by the airport. Aesthetically pleasing and it wasn't packed at all for New Year's Day. Server was super nice and very attentive. I also had a margarita with Don Julio and that definitely hit the spot! My favorite part of my meal was the Brussel sprouts. It had honey mustard, bacon, & pecans on it which all went so well together. My only complaint is that I asked for a medium rare steak and was served a rare steak. I asked them to just put it back on the grill for a little longer to achieve the correct temperature because it was still cold in the inside of the steak. I know that they probably stored it in a super cold fridge because the inside temperature reflected that once I cut into it. The chef decided to prepare an entire new steak which I had to wait an additional 20-30 mins for and I hate that he wasted the first one. I understand that they was just being nice but I have a thing against wasting and on top of it the steak was brought back over cooked more so on the medium well side verses the medium rare I asked for. I didn't have the heart to tell them that it still wasn't cooked right and took it as is. I'm not sure if you all need a thermometer to make sure the steak is being cooked at the right temp or what but something has got to be done to avoid this happening in the future.
