The farmers panini, oatmeal cookie pie, bacon, egg, and brie croissant, and Amber biscuit were all good. This meal came to around $50 and seating is outside. The area is a little more bug loaded than I would like, take your food to go if you're sensitive. But all and all I think I'll be back. This is my favorite breakfast spot in Atlanta! Of course they're not just a breakfast spot but they are to me, even when I'm there at lunch time. You cannot go wrong with any of their menu choices, everything is amazing but my personal favorites are the Amber biscuit sandwich and the bacon, egg and Brie croissant. It's the same story for their side dishes, everything is great but I highly recommend the garlic and cheddar grits and the skillet hash potatoes. The service at Sean's is always polite and high-energy plus they're super knowledgeable about their menu selections. Another plus is there's always plenty of parking which isn't always the case around the park. Only slight downside is there's no indoor seating but on pretty days, it's very pleasant eating on their covered patio. The first, one if the biscuit options and the second a panini. The bread I will say was good, and the biscuit dish was pretty tasty. The panini however, was bland and had too much on it. Big chunky pieces of already chunky vegetables. It just didn't work well together for me. I also ordered two drinks a blueberry lemonade and another I can't remember. But the blueberry lemonade lacked any kind of flavor tasted more like a smoothie of a freshly juiced drink because of the foam in the drink (which I know a freshly juiced drink sounds ideal) but it did not come together well. It's right behind Piedmont park, there's only outdoor seating and it's limited. Definitely more of a smaller cafe kind of vibe. Very casual, walk up on it. Overall I'm not in a rush to go back. Not often in this part of town but finished a work meeting & checked Yelp for late lunch nearby. It's essentially an open-air walk-up, rustic but with some counter-seating under a roof with some heat on this spring day with a chill in the air. Anyway, I got a "Heart of the Park" dog, with Polish Frank (beef). I'm usually one to order basic, like a build your own with nothing much on it, but I "let it ride" with the tomatoes, onions & remoulade sauce. It's a big, sliced dog with a big fresh bun & was really good. It was drenched in the sauce so if I returned, I'd ask for just one light stripe of that. Up charge for a side other than bagged chips so just did chips. Thankfully they had unsweet iced tea. Afterward, I asked if they did refills. The nice girl behind counter said with a smile, "not usually, but I got you." Appreciated that, so I ordered a chocolate-chip cookie to take with (like I needed an excuse - haha). So one morning my friend Miss Betle and I decided it was all about the breakfast adventure and that's how we ended up here at Sean's for what was totally scrumptious in that breakfast kinda way that makes me wish I lived here just so I can come back! Of the many delicious options I went with the blueberry biscuit breakfast sandwich and let me say this was insanely good in more than one way as it was packed with blueberries the biscuit was totally fresh the sausage was cooked perfectly the egg was just the way it should be so that each delicious bite of it oozes into an already amazing biscuit and that compote to add even more flavors to something that seriously just hit the spot in more than one way! If the biscuit sandwich wasn't delicious enough I also got a smoothie it had mango strawberry and hint of mint in it to make the flavor just awesome like totally delicious and perfect with my sandwich. So this place is awesome in it's own way as it's like hidden in this out of the way complex where they take up the end of it making space for a patio for you to hangout and enjoy your scrumptious food on! We were starving and downtown, so I found this spot on Yelp, and decided to check it out. It wasn't at all what I expected. First of all, I wanted a sit down place where there were tons of breakfast choices to satiate our appetites. But that wasn't the case. It did have a little area for sitting outside, but that was it. Sean's is a wholesome healthy casual place for a quick bite. They call themselves a "kickasssandwich" bar, set themselves up on Amsterdam Walk, and made it happen back in 2012. They are still standing. We were both really hungry, but the setting just wasn't what we had hoped for. However, we were already there, so we decided to give it a shot. I ordered a burrito type egg wrap called the Solstice Omelette wrap, and he had the chicken salad. We both got sides of Greek yogurt. I think if you eat uber healthy, you'll like this place. It's super clean eating here. But my wrap was so hot, and it stayed so hot it was difficult to eat on top of it was very very bland. I tried his chicken salad which had a little more flavor, but he ate only half the wrap which was a sign for "I don't like it". I didn't like the Greek yogurt either. We both thought it was needing more pizzazz. Bland, healthy, but even with the sriracha sauce, it could not save my burrito. Bummer, but we would definitely pass next time. read more

During a morning walk at Piedmont Park, my friends and I took a new route and ended up at Sean's! Located in a little plaza on Amsterdam Ave, just off the Interim EastSide Beltline trail, this walk-up restaurant was everything we had hoped to find for breakfast and MORE! I got the Pulled Pork & Elotes Omelette Wrap ($9). It had no business being so good-- the meat was crispy and slightly sweet, the egg was integrated perfectly and not soggy, the chipotle ranch sauce added creaminess and tang, topped with sweet corn and feta, and wrapped with an orange tortilla. The serving was huge, and I only finished half. The other portion was delicious cold for lunch! I also had a large Matcha Latte ($5) with oat milk (+$1). I got it iced, because I am a heathen who orders iced drinks during winter. Again -- big serving and affordable given you would pay $8 at Starbucks. As a heads up, if you like sweeter matcha lattes, this might not be for you! The honey is light and the emphasis here is really on the matcha. For me, it was perfect! I also tried a bite of the Blueberry Breakfast Biscuit ($10). The biscuit was fluffy and the blueberry compote was light, but enough to be noticeably sweet with the sausage, cheese, and egg! Overall, a fantastic biscuit and super filling. I wish I had gotten a pic of the food but we ate it so quickly! I went into this restaurant blind, having never heard of it before, and walked out a loyal customer! Who knew a walk up spot would have such an extensive menu, with everything being amazing? There are so many other things I want to try! I will happily stop here on my morning walks and take my friends when we want brunch but not high prices / long waits. You order at the window and seat yourself, then they call your name and bring your food out to your table when it's ready. I ordered a cinnamon vanilla latte (pretty good, but a tad too sweet for my taste) and the farmer's breakfast panini with a side of grits. The panini was pretty large and tasty, had all the right elements to it. I really liked the flavor and cakey texture of the grits (although it might not be for everyone). My friends liked their dishes as well (pulled pork sandwich and Thai chicken salad wrap). Oh and if you enjoy people watching, this is a great spot for it. Stopped here for a quick bite after spending time at the Piedmont Farmer's Market, and I am so glad I did, in spite of the rain - the experience brightened my day! All credit goes to my friend for telling me about this place, I knew nothing of its existence before. I ordered the farmer's breakfast panini with a side of the tomato basil bisque, an Irish cream latte, and an Oreo cheesecake brownie for dessert. First of all, the aesthetic of this place is lovely!!! 10/10, so colorful and cute. They have a patio with several bar seats and tables for outdoor seating as well. The service was also EXCELLENT, 10/10. The folks working back there are so fun and friendly, chatting with them really made my day and my experience here. Now for the food: the latte was great and just what I needed, given the cold and dreary weather. The panini was served on Cuban bread (um, delicious!) and it surprised me by how flavorful it was. If you know me, you know I'm not really a sandwich person, but I really did enjoy this one. All the ingredients were fresh and flavorful, and worked really well together. The tomato soup is indeed tangy, as some other reviewers have mentioned, so if that's not what you're looking for, I wouldn't order it. Finally, the Oreo cheesecake brownie was unfortunately a disappointment both in terms of flavor and texture - I just didn't like it at all. But no harm done! On a rainy Thursday morning I set out to Sean's, however bc of some road block issues I found myself at the Amsterdam Walk Sean's instead of my usual Candler Park location. I ordered my favorite "Hash Breakfast Bowl w/ Veggie Protein" ... I received my food, nice and hot, but uniquely different this time.. The Veggie Sausage looked as if it had been placed on top with such perfection and care... I continue to dive in, bc it's soooo good and my fav. I don't know Candler Park.... It was a lazy Sunday and I was looking for something delicious, quick and inexpensive so decided to head to this walk up window called Sean's Harvest Market. They sale coffee, smoothies and unique breakfast and lunch sandwiches. The business is located in Amsterdam Walk right across from Loca Luna. They serve breakfast and lunch 7 days a week and you can check the daily menu online. Breakfast is served all day also which I love. Parking is also free and there's lots of it. Score!! The outdoor sandwich bar to my surprise had several tables outside for seating and many with umbrellas to protect you from the sun. It was lots of shade which I love so I decided to dine in. You place your order at the window, the have hand held menus or you can view the chalkboard/ door. I love avocados so I ordered the Farmer's Breakfast Panini with an Amber biscuit for my side ($9). If you're not a fan of biscuits you have the option of chips or soup. I went with an ice Christian Bailey ($4) for my drink. Farmers Breakfast Panini - avocado spread, cucumber, baby kale, swiss, fresh tomatoes, cheddar, fried egg and grilled onions. Amber biscuit - southern cat head biscuit served with honey. Christian Bailey - vanilla, chocolate, allspice, coffee and cream. Food was brought out to my table and I was excited to dig in but was surprised that my panini looked more like a melt. I could be wrong but the bread looked basic, I was expecting a bread used for paninis. I quickly got over it because the ingredients looked so fresh but the taste was not satisfying. I just didn't like the combination of flavors and something was missing, maybe seasoning on the fried egg. I was only able to eat half the sandwich. I loved my biscuit though and it was so perfect with the side of honey, it reminded me of shortbread but softer. Coffee was the BOMB, delicious and sweet. So not too happy with my sandwich but I totally loved the atmosphere at the market. Maybe someone can have Loca Luna not be so obnoxious and stop blasting their music on a Sunday afternoon so guests can enjoy the cool tunes at the market. Sean's has been on my list of go-to coffee spots for a few months, but I was painfully disappointed by my recent lunch experience there a few weeks ago. Let's start with the good. I love Sean's for its perfect, park-side location, it's nice coffee selection, and above all, it's killer pastry case. I have had so many sublime treats at this spot- from their heavenly alfajores to a rainbow sprinkle sugar cookie that could make you cry. All enjoyed on their patio, it's a perfect and easy summer morning spot. On past visits, I had been intrigued by their vast, creative, and slightly-Mexican inspired lunch menu, so we decided to give it a try on a recent Sunday afternoon, and it was frankly a disaster. First, the wait was painfully slow. We ordered a couple sandwiches and a side, and we sat for close to 45 minutes, which really ate into our afternoon. Second, I was disappointed that my order was wrong. I had really been looking forward to trying the guacy elotes vegetarian dog, but received a completely different order- some sort of bratwurst served with a sweet red sauce and fried onions that was clearly another menu item. Finally, the quality was just not there. The sandwiches were served messily, wrapped in paper with sauce dripping everywhere, and the sides- incredibly soggy coleslaw and greasy macaroni and cheese- were less than appealing. Late, wrong, and just not good- I was disappointed to the say the least, especially after my dozens of great experiences before. I would still incorporate Sean's into my weekend plans for a coffee and a treat, but would be hard pressed to explore their lunch menu again. read more
