Absolutely perfect experience. Visited the showroom once to listen to some higher end Focal bookshelf speakers. I spent about two hours listening to the Sopra1 and the Diablo1s. After spending some time deciding whether I definitely wanted to upgrade, I called Aaron to set up a time to demo the speakers again and make a final decision. Bought two home systems from Aaron at Safe & Sound a few years ago. Both systems are amazing. Every time guests come over they are super impressed with the sound quality. One is a surround sound and the other standard stereo. The surround sound has so many play modes like "Super Stadium" that sounds just like being in an arena. Both systems have incredibly clear sound, even when turned way up. (Both systems are capable of rupturing ear drums with crystal clear music...LOL) Needless to say, I'm very happy. In terms of customer service, this place can't be beat. I did have an issue with a high-end subwoofer (I damaged it myself). I fully expected to be on my own but not the case! AARON really sets the standard for customer service! I picked up vinyl as a hobby during the quarantine and nabbed my very first limited edition vinyl (attached photo to boost review visibility). Excellent customer support! My first order was for a second Yamaha A-S801 integrated amp. Decided to go for an open box deal to save hundreds and the amp arrived in pristine condition! As it was never opened. Second purchase was for a pair of Polk R700 speakers - again open box and Daniel informed me they took them out of the boxes to demo for a customer and then back in the box they went. Had an issue with Alexa not working on an NAD product I had purchased, and had reached out to the manufacturer and BlueSound several times, but was not getting the right response. So I called and spoke to Aaron. From the very beginning he was super professional and followed up with me like he said he would. Safe and Sound apparently has direct contacts with the manufacturer and their engineer's, so a few days after I spoke with Aaron a representative from the manufacturer contacted me and they said they are investigating the issue. GREAT Service, Fast Shipping and Technical Information/Advice!! When I decided it was time to upgrade my Stereo AV Receiver I mentioned that to a friend of mine and he advised me to call Safe and Sound, even though we live in Phoenix, AZ. Now I owe him Lunch!! They were very helpful from when I did a LIVE CHAT and asked for advice given the speakers I had and what I wanted to do, and then they advised to call Dave...... Dave took it a step further and gave me more technical information as well as letting me know about a NEW Model that had not been released yet... It turned out to be the PERFECT match for my needs........ Waited a week until it was released and got one of the first units..... Sadly it was DOA (turned on but froze during set up) so I called Dave who walked me through a couple of tests and determined it could not be 'reset'. They initiated a return and shipped a new units ASAP!!! Love the unit and the fact that you can call in the future to ask questions (and my friend had an issue after a month and the helped him walk through a factory 'reset' that was not in the manual, that fixed the problem!!) read more

I have been buying equipment from David at Safe and Sound for over 10 years. With the new store, it is "too much candy" for the eyes and ears. I just picked up a Marantz AV10, BluSound Node, and SmarTractor last Saturday, and I got to see the finished new store/showroom. I was in total shock and awe of the place. They have things for $100 and things for over $100,000. Very futuristic with the lighting, demo rooms, even the detail down to the plates for the plugs and lights. The Staff is very very very knowledgeable and are able to walk you through the pros and cons. They take pride down to the detail of dusting and cleaning so that there IS NOT one speck of dust in the entire place. As a point on the Marantz AV10, it is a major upgrade in all regards relative to the Marantz AV8805 which I also got from them. Well worth the purchase and from the right people for any issues going forward. I have seen David start with the small store in Chicopee, MA, building things up, and working himself ragged. As a person, I just don't see people working or driven to such a level of customer service, as he does for the sake of his pride and joy in music and electronics. I cannot recommend this place enough, whether you deal with them in person or through the internet, you will be impressed. What is also impressive is that he often quotes his dad as his inspiration and model in business, and to hear of the side projects that his dad does to help towards the success of the business. If you look at my review history, very rarely do I give 5-stars to anywhere because I feel there has to be a rating for truly excellent places. Safe & Sound is one of those places. A business that is small enough where customers mean something and large enough to always be able to take care of your needs. The guys who work there are the best around. I've been there many many times over the years since I was old enough to drive. I'm always very hesitant to let people work on my vehicles, especially when it comes to aftermarket products like remote start systems etc. Over the years they have always carried the best quality products and today is no exception.. In addition to quality components, the quality of installation cannot be matched; and they stand by it! My remote start / alarm I had installed has worked perfectly and since I'm a technician myself, I checked out their work (as I always do) and I was not disappointed.. The wiring was clean and wrapped perfectly. Like it was installed at the factory! I checked a few connections and as I expected they were soldered! May seem like nothing but it's time-consuming and not the easiest way to do it, but it is the best.. With a product that incorporates into your vehicles security and starting systems, you 100% want the highest quality install and that's what you get.. Professionals. That's what these guys are - professionals. I went through the Compustar dealer page and found Safe & Sound who does installations for 2 way alarm and starter. I reached out to David and we had a 20 minute conversation about what system would be best for my needs and application. I put a deposit down and set an appointment to their shop in a week. David was extremely knowledgeable and never pushed a sale. I drove 1.5 hours one-way (do it once, do it right) to meet the guys at the shop. They have a nice lounge with Wi-Fi and across the street from a diner. I've had 4 different Compustar alarms in the past decade, and not one installer sat down with me and walked me through all the options. Kevin did. It was great to customize the options on my alarm. Throughout the day, David and Kevin (installer) kept me up to date on the progress of the alarm install. When the alarm was finished, Kevin walked me through how to operate the remote etc. I said my farewells. And this is where Safe & Sound goes over and beyond any shop. I drove about a mile or two and noticed a flat tire - I went back to Safe & Sound (after business hours). Without hesitation, they checked all my tires and we found a nail in one of the tires. They jacked up my car, took off the wheel, plugged the tire, and put it back on. I drove it a mile and the TPMS shut off and I called them to say thanks. And yes, they did this all in the rain and it wasn't even their nail. I highly recommend Safe & Sound. Rare to find people that take pride in their work and these guys do. read more

I stumbled upon Safe and Sound because I was done with Crutchfield. I bought a AVR from Crutchfield two years ago and I had problems right from the beginning. It got to the point that the unit became useless. Crutchfield's only response was that what was happening shouldn't happen. Denon said the same thing. Crutchfield wouldn't even post my review of the unit so I started shopping elsewhere for speakers. That's when I found Safe and Sound. David diagnosed the problem right away and it was an easy fix.
