I contacted this company to have 12 Axis Communications cameras installed, but I never got to speak with the actual installer--only with the receptionist. From my experience, they are not interested in helping unless they're also making the sale. They care only about their own profits, not the customer's needs. We used Safe And Sound for our alarm install and most recently an upgrade to our sensors. The company seems family run, they are all kind when you call. Our service techs have always been on time and courteous. Everyone that I have interacted with has been helpful and I haven't had any issues with my system. I would recommend them over going with ADT or another large company. The whole alarm buying business is tricky. I recently purchased glass break sensors from them. I first called Monitronics (who monitors my system) and they wanted $190 per sensor. Called Safe And Sound and they were more than half off that price. I was pretty happy! read more

The consultant came out, on time and, completely knowledgeable about all the different packages that they offer, it's pretty much one stop shopping they offer all the gagets! The installer Robert was very courteous and punctual, once the alarm was installed he cleaned up the office and, left it as clean as he arrived. ( strange that I am mentioning this, previous companies had left us with dry wall dust, screws, wires, was not pleased, this is why I felt I had to mention this details!) These 2 guys in light blue shirts showed up at my door tonight at dinner time and tried to get me to commit to making an appointment with the "technician" for the next day, along with my husband here, to hear their pitch and buy their "security system with a special promotion". They told me they have a special code. I politely refused to commit but asked for literature to share with my husband and would write down the code. No, they couldn't give it to me. I asked for the brochure to review. They wouldn't leave that either. They don't leave any literature to review. I told them I was hesitant to do business with any company that wanted an appointment immediately, wouldn't leave any literature and their hard sell was a turn off. They continued to try and sell their "deal". My husband overheard me trying to tell them all of the above reasons repeatedly, so he came to the door to reiterate. Before he chased them away, he asked for their names and ID they refused to give it to him. SHADY! If you are a legitimate business, don't send these hard sell, door to door appointment makers and expect anyone to trust you. Find a new approach. This seems like a SCAM waiting to happen. I got a telemarketing call from this company on my cellphone. Not cool and very annoying. When I mentioned this, the caller said he'd transfer me to a supervisor. He left me on hold until I hung up. The FCC website says, "Placing telemarketing calls to wireless phones is - and always has been - illegal in most cases." I don't patronize businesses who make illegal telemarketing calls; I hope you don't either. read more

She did not try to do any hard sales pitch and only gave facts. She thoroughly explained the features and benefits of the system and the monitoring company. She answered all my questions and concerns. once i decided to get it, an appt was made the very next day to install the alarm system. Let me start by saying there sales pitch and salesperson on on point and very good at selling you there products i was suckerwd into there false promises and now just feel like i am bieng ripped off!!!! for starters there security system that is top notch never recieves its commands because it doesnt get good signal spoke to tech support they agreed something was wrong and would send out a tech never heard anything from safe and aound called 5 days after the install complaining about the crappy instalation job and how my touch pannel was not hung straight and i could walk places in my house without setting of the alarm never heard back once again..... i asked to cancel my service since i was unhappy with the system and price they said they would add more sensors yet another false promise...let me warn you save the headache and money dont make the mistake i did and go through monotronics directly witch is the company they use but if you go straight to monotronics youll save at least 20 bucks a month wish i would have waited before signing this contract that locks you in beforw the system is even installed how are you suppost to know if your going like it by the time it is installed its too late and your locked in for 2 yrs read more

I agreed to set up an appointment for a sales rep to come out talk to us about what Safe and sound has to offer and since i have been researching few alarm companies, i knew what i wanted. The very next day Younis Drayef stop by exactly at the time of the appointment, he was very professional, not pushy at all, he took the time to explain everything to us and answered all of our questions. We looked up Safe and Sound and they have A+ rating with BBB, great reviews with Yelp. We felt very comfortable with Younis, the experience with him was far from being a sales pitch. The system that we got installed is awesome, my number one concern was and is our safety and now with this system we feel secure, nothing like the old button panel i had in my old house, the panel is very elegant and very simple to use and the monthly monitoring cost is very reasonable. The installer was on time and professional. The time came when i needed to connected my son's phone to have access to the alarm, i called the customer service and they were very friendly, professional and patient with me as i'm not a very techy guy, they walked me through it and it was a done deal. I had my share in life dealing with businesses and this company is one of my number one companies that i can say were punctual, professional and they delivered what they promised. I will definitely recommend this company, and i highly recommend that you ask for Younis, he is a great guy.
