Received a reminder for the appointment with a time that was an hour earlier than I book. Changed my schedule around only for them to show up 15 minutes late. They were then overpriced and I do not like that there was no type of estimate given before hand so that I could have not waited a week for the appointment just to hear unfair pricing. The service was mediocre and my carpets did not look much different. Once complete I asked what the balls were scattered on the floor and the serviceman responded that it was the dirt from the cleaner and I needed to vacuum it or pick it up! If I'm already overpaying for spotty service the absolute last thing to suggest is for me to also do what is part of your job- I will never use or recommend this company to anyone!! read more

This company does not deserve a star. This man showed up 30 minutes late in an unidentified truck with no shirt on or any id that he worked for safe dry. After cleaning my couch, I asked why there was still dog hair on it and claimed he forgot to vacuum first and said my bad. I asked if he was going to vacuum my rug before cleaning and he said, "sure, can I use yours?" He offered to complete the job for 1/2 price if I went through him directly, I said no. My carpet was not clean, he forced me to complete a 5 star review on his phone in front of him. I was home alone and felt unsafe. I called the manager who told me this was his best employee. I have waited over 2 weeks for a refund and have received nothing after several unreturned calls. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!! read more

I had a horrible experience with SafeDry and would caution others to stay far away! I had a tech come out to assess three 8x10 area rugs. The price seemed reasonable and I was told they would be ready in one week. Friday comes around, and I get a call about 10 minutes before my scheduled return time that actually, the rugs weren't done yet, but they'd be finished on Tuesday. Okay, this was a little inconvenient, especially since I had time moving into our new house based around having our rugs done, but things happen. Tuesday comes around and nobody shows up or calls. I call about 30 minutes after my appointment and am told, surprise, the rugs aren't done and it will be another week. No call or advance notice of this until I called. One week later, I receive a call at my appointment time.... once again, this is the third appointment they have canceled. AGAIN, the rug is not ready, and it will be at least several more days. I asked to speak to a manager and was told I'd receive a call back. No call back and I called again later in the day and still could not reach him. It look two days for the manager to call me back and finally discuss these issues. Finally, my fourth scheduled return appointment comes around, and I receive another call. The tech is running late for my 9am appointment and will be there in "about an hour". After 11:30am, when I have been waiting all morning, and on the FOURTH scheduled attempt to have my rugs returned, the rugs arrived. The kicker is that they were filthy still. I picked visible dog hair and dirt out of one and was at least not charged. Later, I vacuumed an entire full canister of dirt and hair out of the rug. The remaining two rugs were slightly better but not by much. In a nutshell, terrible experience. One star is way too much. You cannot imagine the unending grief you will encounter if you work with this company. I called the day before to confirm the appointment. Rather than coming on time, I gotta call after the time scheduled, that the truck had 'broken down' .If that was true, I would've gotten a call before the scheduled time. I driven 214 miles round trip to be out there, to greet the carpet cleaners. Instead I had to go home empty handed. I finally got them to come the next day , but only after about 15 text exchanges and another 6 or 8 phone calls. This group talks a good game, but the reality is that they will let you down big time and still make it seem as if somehow you are the culprit. Please, do yourself a favor and go someplace else. You cannot succeed working with this company. The only thing that can happen is you will have unending grief, and kick yourself for not studying the three reviews posted here. As a capper, when I called them after the job was FINALLY completed, I got out on hold for 11 minutes... seriously. You have been warned. read more

I used the Winston-Salem/ Greensboro area location. Horrible service from the start, after about 2 or 3 rescheduled appointments the technician showed up late then immediately asked to use my bathroom, After about 5 mins the other guy had to call the one in the bathroom to ask if he can load the rug into the van . Once he finished whatever he was doing in that bathroom he ask how much did my area rug cost ? Odd question........... i proceeded to say I can't remember ( not sure what this has to do with having it cleaned). He then said a 100 dollars after measuring the rug. Once he rolled the rug back up he asked when I wanted the rug back I said Friday July 12 at 4pm. While what do you know i get a call saying they can't make that time and they would be late !!!!!!!!! It wouldn't be until 5. This entire experience was horrible. Oh i forgot to mention when i received my rug it was still dirty with dust and who knows what coming out ! read more
