I took the week off and I was really looking forward to spending time on the water. Called the marina and they said they were really backed up and didn't think they could get to looking at the boat for a few weeks. Called Mike at Land and Sea and he was able to send Brandon out the next day. Turns out that it was just a corrosion problem but I elected to change out both starter batteries given their age. I really appreciated that they were honest with me and said I didn't need to replace the batteries just yet. From the survey and sea trial to the delivery he worked with me and my wife to ensure we were informed and answered any and all questions that you would expect from first time boat owners like us. He not only surveyed the boat, but he was interested in how we were going to use the boat and took in our personal interests as he developed his recommendations to us. My first time meeting a surveyor who was as honest and forthcoming on the boat condition and what we would need to do for the safety of our family out on the open ocean. Appreciated his attention to detail and helping us in our decision about the purchase of our ocean sailing yacht.
