    From our very first contact to the actual execution of a flawless move, Move-tastic exceeded…read moreexpectations. We moved from our large home of 47 years to a smaller condo. We were extremely anxious because we had to change our moving date twice and every time we called, they were able to calm our fears and accommodated our change of date. The day of our move, the crew arrived on time, with two trucks. We were greeted by David Byrd, Jose Gonzalez, Josu Sanchez, Jose Jr. Lopez and Richard Sanabria. We immediately knew that this was a team that worked well together! Their people skills were amazing and they even calmed my anxious spouse who was extremely stressed out with the whole the process, THESE GUYS KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING! They packed us up with a smile then unloaded at our new condo where they again put their skills and experience to use getting all of our furniture in a small elevator, up to the sixth floor, and put into place in our new home. We would hire them again in a second. And that's coming from people who are/were extremely stressed about the move. We also are so grateful for Bailey who was our first contact, who made herself available and was always ready to counsel and adjust our needs She walked us through a very distressing time in our life and was ALWAYS available. We had many phone conversations and those calls were returned with lots of experience, patience and kindness with people inexperienced with the whole process. Combined with the lack of accountability and overall experience, we no longer feel comfortable recommending them. At minimum, this experience highlighted how important trust, chain of custody, and security are during a move, and unfortunately we were left feeling deeply uneasy afterward.

    We were doing a move that did not require a moving truck (we were moving between condos in adjacent…read moreproperties), and hired Bara to help move our large/heavy items that we could not move ourselves. Unfortunately, things did not go as well as I had hoped. The movers were delayed in arriving. We have a larger than normal couch, and they attempted to bring it in the front and it did not fit, and in the process significant damage (scuffed, scraped walls, damaged light fixture) was done, as well as wasted time. Other more typical minor damage, however much of that was just from sloppy work. These are things I would not expect from experienced movers. While on-site I negotiated for extra time to finish moving the items that we needed help with, however upon reflection that really only made up for poor decisions on the part of the movers (not bringing the couch in the back, and not labeling dresser drawers and then spending a lot of time to figure out which one goes where). In the end, I will spend more time and almost as much money fixing all the damage as I did for the move. I did contact Lansana after I was fully aware of the extent of all of the issues, and offered what I thought was a fair deal to make things right, but he refused to make any refund at all. On the plus side, Lansana has been responsive to communication and polite in all correspondence. I will say the up-front price was reasonable compared to other movers, but more costly than using hired hourly work. For myself, the mark of a business is what they do when things go wrong, and unfortunately despite all the things that did go well (and we are moved in), I think they missed the mark here.

    They were pretty good about setting up a move on relatively short notice, but they were several…read morehours late on the day of the move and they jacked up their prices after they already had my stuff. They didn't give an actual bill and only cited "materials" as the reason for the price change even though I had everything packed in boxes and I even physically helped them get things in to and out of the truck. They also charge a service fee just to be able to pay them. The 2 guys who showed up and moved my stuff we're nice enough but I absolutely would NOT recommend hiring this company.

Moving and would strongly caution others…read more We were initially quoted approximately $3,600 for our move after providing a detailed inventory multiple times and confirming everything in advance. We were reassured the move would take about 8-9 hours with 4 movers and that the total would remain close to that estimate. This move was from one house to another house within a mile of each other in the same neighborhood! On move day, the crew did conduct an inventory at the beginning but did not communicate any changes or provide an updated estimate. They proceeded to load all of our belongings onto the truck. Only after everything was loaded did they inform us that the total had increased to over $13,000 -- more than four times what we were quoted. At that point, they refused to unload any of our belongings unless we paid in full. Even after we paid approximately $12,000, they still would not begin unloading until additional payment was made. This happened late at night with all of our possessions on their truck, leaving us with no real option. We asked to speak with a supervisor to understand the charges. Although he was placed on speakerphone, he refused to speak with us or explain why the cost had increased so dramatically. Throughout the process, we were repeatedly required to sign documents on a phone that we could not properly review, and they would not explain what we were signing. We were told we had to sign to continue while under pressure due to a strict move-out deadline. The final bill included many concerning charges, including: * Repeated charges for the same items/services (exercise equipment, Peloton, TVs, glass handling) * Significant material charges (e.g., dozens of rolls of tape and excessive wrapping) that we did not authorize and explicitly asked them not to use * Additional services that were not clearly disclosed in advance *They broke our new storm door and our master King Bed Frame. At the end of the move, we were also required to provide photographs of our credit card and identification, which took over an hour. We never agreed to this beforehand and felt extremely uncomfortable given the circumstances. Overall, this experience felt highly pressured and not transparent. The final cost was dramatically higher than what was represented, and we were not given a fair opportunity to review or approve charges before being required to pay. If we did not pay in full, we were not getting our materials. I began to fear for my kids and my safety. I have never been in such a terrifying pressuring situation that I was completely taken advantage of!

Which is why I am here: to yell my praises from digital mountain tops! I was (very generously) gifted an early Christmas present from my mom of a full day/organizing session with M2O... AND IT WAS THE BEST GIFT I EVER RECEIVED! It is truly the gift that keeps on giving. **Hint hint, people- Christmas is less than 3 weeks away, if you are struggling for ideas. ;-) Schae and Britney were spectacular! They rolled into my place like two boss ladies ready to get down to business (but not in a scary way lol)! They put on a fun playlist and took charge, which is what I like and needed. They let me help (obviously not required, but desired on my part to learn) and taught me helpful tips and tricks along the way to maintain the organization. Best of all, they knew how to prioritize my projects in the order that made most sense, and maximized efficiency and my time with them. Not a minute wasted and no stone (aka leftover crap I didn't need anymore) left unturned! AND, like, how helpful and convenient it is that they haul away as many donations for you as they can when they leave?! At the end of the day (literally), I had the best nights sleep that I'd had in years, knowing that there was (finally!) a place for everything and everything in its place. Not only did M2O grant me peace of mind, they motivated me to keep going and see what I can accomplish on my own with what I learned from them. And the productivity levels on all the DIY projects I've set aside over the years are through the roof! My home is, now, finally the way I want and need it to be- it is first and foremost, my sanctuary. Thanks to M2O! But don't worry, I would never claim to be a 'Master Organizer' like them though- there are still some projects that seem just too overwhelming to undertake myself...like where do I even start?! SO, I've already booked my next session with them. Can't wait for Round 2!

    Our kitchen and bathrooms were touched by angels…read more We just moved into our new condo and let's just say we had more than we thought the space could handle. There was no way we could have unpacked and organized our kitchen and bathrooms over the next few weeks, which is what their team excelled to do in less than a day. Mackenzie was very responsive starting from original quote to appointment day. Because of this they came fully prepared and we feel every minute they used here was optimized to the fullest. It's our first time using this kind of service and Mackenzie, Chloe, Brittany, Mary and Melanie have officially spoiled us for all moves to come. Our home brings us so much joy now.
