Used East Bank Storage to store my life for a year when I was out of the country. Very little not to like about this place. Great staff, affordable, fairly easy to move in & out. My only complaints are that sometimes getting a cart can be difficult when they're busy. The hours can also make it a little tough if you plan to stop by in the evening. They also rent Uhauls and sell pretty much any packaging you might need. read more

I have had a storage unit at this location for over 5 years. Not only is the staff very friendly, helpful and accomodating but they would call me to inform me when packages arrived. East bank was ideally located blocks close to my home and expressways. And while I had the storage for work, the 60 sq. foot space had still lots of room and was easy to get in and out of. There was plenty of carts available to use when moving heavier items and even staff to help. I highly recommend to anyone looking for extra space. They are very reasonable as well. read more

I stored my things here for about two years. The facility is beautiful and everyone who worked there was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the hours - not open on Sundays and close pretty early on the weekdays. I often had to rearrange my schedule to try to make it there. Dear Yelpers, I have had an art studio at East Bank Storage for almost 5 months now, and I am very satisfied with the services. After looking around at quite a few other studios, East Bank is still the best bargain I have been able to find. My first space was only $200 a month! but I recently had to upgrade to $300/mo to have more space. There's free internet, parking, carts, huge elevators, nice hardwood floors, colorful walls, 4th floor gallery... and the staff downstairs is awesome. Any time I ever have an issue, I talk it over with Clodina who couldn't be more genuine in looking after the interests of the artists here. i had to subtract 1 star only because as an artist, its location is not the best for trying to get exposure... though I feel things may be picking up. read more

I had furniture/objects/art/lamps, etc. stored here for almost 3 years. My stuff was in perfect shape when I finally departed from my exceptionally well kept storage unit. Alan who runs things in the main office is kind/helpful and resourceful. The building itself is a wonderment in the ever evolving Bridgeport neighborhood. So much to see in and out of this great art and event location. I've been an East Bank Storage customer since 2007 and I remember how I was somewhat impressed with the place when I first walked in 4 years ago. The lockers were clean and the employees were mostly friendly though there were a few times when I felt a bit rushed. But hey, I was storing stuff, not living there, so having a clean locker space with no noticeable walking small critters around is good enough for me! Fast forward to the present and guess what? Still the same friendly, casual service and clean locker areas. I've stopped by a few times in the past few years and just today I went in to downsize to a smaller locker. I needed my lock cut and someone came right away to help me even though they were swamped that day. The guy came up fairly quickly with all smiles and happily cut my lock. The two people I dealt with that day at the front desk were friendly and made sure I was taken care of right away. I actually felt that service has improved since I was last here more that a year or so ago. I also saw people cleaning and vacuuming in the short time I was there which made me feel even better about leaving my stuff there. And the carts are are great! Light and very easy to maneuver! Best part is I found out they open until 6pm on Saturdays too. They opened til 1pm before and it was a bit incovenient for me since they're closed by 6pm on the weekdays and i don't even get home til 6pm. I have kids that take away my morning times during the weekend, so having Saturday available almost all day is great! All in all, I totally recommend this storage facility! read more

East Bank Storage (near IIT campus) was very very convenient for my daughter (a student at IIT) who needed to store her dorm items for the summer (in lieu of driving all of the stuff back to MI). Very clean and well maintained with a large selection of storage units to choose from. Professional office and mtce staff that are always willing to help. I have had a storage unit at this location for about 6 months, and I'm extremely pleased with it. The staff is friendly and helpful. The building is huge, clean, secure, (even carpeted!) with a covered area for loading and unloading from your vehicle. On top of that, the price can't be beat. I was paying $40 more for the same size unit at another storage place. (The only downside is that they are only open 'till 6pm, and not at all on Sundays, or I would have given them 5 stars). I don't have any storage at my apartment and I'm so glad I found this place. read more

I like the different sizes of storage options they offer. I like the docking stations. They supply you with carts for easy transportation to and from your vehicle. I know that they are clean and my property is secure and in safe hands. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I rented a small UHaul truck and drove a total of 11 miles. I put $5 gas in just to make sure I was returning it with more gas than I used - the needle hadn't even moved. When I received my bill the next morning it had a charge for 1.5 gallons of gas! I called the location and they claimed that the needle was below where I received it. Only I made sure it was slightly above where I got it when I parked the vehicle. My motto is to always return things better than I receive them. Oh well, won't be using this location again in the future or referring my friends or family to them. read more
