I had to replace my Mach-E windshield again--this vehicle unfortunately seems prone to windshield damage. The staff here was extremely friendly, helpful, and did an excellent job with the replacement. I was very pleased with the quality of their work and the overall service experience. The only downside was the lobby Wi-Fi, which was very slow and made it difficult to stay connected during a work call. It caught me off guard and unfortunately caused some disruption. Updating my review from over 4 years ago. So driving by I saw they had a location closer to home in Clovis Ave didn't realized from the looks of it the NW location (the one I've only been too over the years) no longer exists?!? Correct me if I'm wrong but I couldn't find that location anywhere. But no complaints here as this newer location is so much closer and convenient!!! My husband asked me to make an appointment for him. His truck was hit by a rock driving on the freeway a few weeks ago and it chipped his windshield. I went on their website and loved that there was so many openings both in person and mobile service. I've never done their mobile service and thought that would be the best since I have 2 littles I didn't want to take them and have to wait in the lobby when they can just come to us and we can comfortably stay at home. There was an opening for next day service. They provide 2 time frames I chose the afternoon 1pm-6pm. I received an email confirmation and a text with the name of my assigned technician. The day of my appointment Alex called me and said he was about 25mins away and asked if the truck was parked in a shaded area. Alex arrived on time, he was professional, courteous and he very knowledgeable. He went over everything in detail and explained the process and possibilities. He worked for about 30mins! Alex did an amazing job! We went through our car insurance and had no deductibles. We had such a great experience! I've always liked working with safelite. First time safe lite showed up to my house, they said my obd port wasn't working and that it was probably a fuse. He couldn't wait for me to fix it, so he said I would have to reschedule. I got a fuse put it in and called to reschedule. A week later a tech named Jerrod showed up and said, they lost our payment arrangement and would have to reschedule for another appointment after we call and set up another payment option. Honest and transparent customer service!!! They provided great care when my rear view mirror fell off my windshield, 2023 Audi, so if it happens to you. Bring it here to fix, don't think twice. Went to the dealership and told I needed to do a lot more than what was needed. I purchased a part for a fraction of the price that they will install upon arrival. Have to wait for the process to happen but in this case, I can still drive the car, carefully ( like drive like it's 1990 before sensors told you if the lane next to you was clear) but will save hundreds of dollars!!! I am on my 3rd scheduled appointment. I scheduled the first one for Friday and no one showed up, called, texted or emailed to reschedule. I called Safelight and was advised the appointment was cancelled because of OEM part needed. They rescheduled me for Saturday, and when I returned their call to confirm, they cancelled again this time due to worker calling off. We'll see if they show up Monday. Not impressed. Scheduled an appointment online through my insurance company for mobile repair service. The day before my appointment, I received a text that said my appointment had changed to an earlier time and it was now going to be at their shop on Clovis Avenue. I reached out to Safelite and the rep Paula at the shop stated that my wife had changed the appointment. The ONLY phone number that Safelite had was my mobile phone so there was NO way that my wife could have talked to her. If they couldn't do the repair via mobile service there was no reason to lie and just change my appointment. I wound up just going to a local Clovis shop instead of a business that employs people who lie. EDIT: There was no "miscommunication" here. After a few months it rained and I realized there was a leak at the top of the windshield dripping into my cab. I went to a quality windshield installer and they showed me safelite used the wrong clips to hold the glass (they used clips for an Altima) but there clearly wasn't enough sealant to prevent the leak. 0/5 read more

I was selling my car and wouldn't you know it, I got a huge crack across my windshield. I called for availability & to my delight they got me in right away. I had an appointment but arrived early & they were kind enough to accommodate me! It was supposed to take up to an 1-1/2hrs and I was going to wait but my car was ready sooner than expected & I was out in an hour. Technician was friendly and apologized for the wait, handed me my keys and wished me safe travels back home. Now there's a large clean reception area, a small table for children & TV which was playing a child's show to entertain the little girl waiting with her mom (nice) Restroom was large & clean. I scheduled a windshield replacement for Saturday, March 28th between the hours of 8am to 12pm. I set aside this time and changed my schedule to be available as my windshield has pit marks and makes it dangerous for me to drive into the sun. Safelite came highly recommended, so I used their service! It is more expensive to have them come out to my location but it benefitted me due to my busy schedule. When the representative showed up at 11:30 am, representative !advised there was a scratch on the new windshield! I did not want damaged product so I rescheduled for April 4th between 8 and 12 noon. I, again, have to wait around for the service! I am not happy! I called SafeLite, directly, on Saturday, March 28th, after the discussion with the representative who was providing the service, and they say I need to contact them on Monday as the office is closed! My complaint is this...I waited around and changed my plans to accommodate their schedule. I am ok with that, but, my time is valuable as well! I got replacement and 2 weeks later the safelight windshield had a small crack in it I assume an acorn or something may have fell on it but not sure. Safelight won't warranty the windshield if something may have fell on it. At this point if a small nut or leaf can crack it tells me the product is very poor and I am not safe with it on my car. Getting it replaced by a different company. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS UNSAFE PRODUCT. And takes forever trying to reach a live person. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS MISLEADING COMPANY!!! In October 2022, I purchased a $1,000 windshield for my Ford Bronco Sport from Safelite. I was told by both the phone representative and the technician that the windshield came with a lifetime warranty covering any damages, which was why I proceeded with the purchase. On July 1, 2024, I noticed a small ding in the windshield. I tried to schedule a warranty appointment online, but the system wouldn't allow it, prompting me to call customer service. I left a voicemail and later got a call back. The representative informed me that the ding wasn't covered by the warranty but recommended a resin repair. She assured me that if the repair didn't work or I wasn't satisfied, the windshield would be replaced. I proceeded with the resin repair. On July 9, 2024, the technician arrived and confirmed the warranty terms before completing the repair in 15 minutes. The next day, I saw that the ding had grown into a crack, which continued to expand. I contacted Safelite again, leaving multiple voicemails in August 2024 but received no reply. In early September, I emailed their customer care team and finally received a callback from the technician who had done the repair. She rudely offered a refund instead of addressing the warranty issue and then hung up. Since then, I have reached out to Safelite's corporate office via emails and voicemails, with no response. After over two and a half months of trying to resolve this, I feel completely ignored and misled. I am now left with no choice but to involve third parties. As a returning customer, this treatment is unfair and unacceptable, especially considering the cost of the services. Had I known Safelite would handle the situation this way, I would have reconsidered using their services. I'm sure this review will get the usual generic response. If you do reply, please clarify whether you are a franchise or a corporate-owned location. Also, kindly address the BBB complaint I filed regarding your misleading practices. Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if your organization struggles to maintain the reputation it's built in the years to come. read more

We had a rock crack our windshield while driving on the 99. Literally 5 mins after it happened I went onto the safelight website and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. They drove to my house here in Madera and George had my windshield repaired within 20 mins. It just looks like a slight scratch now, amazing. Great job George, we are very pleased with the repair. They have no record of my appointment. When I show them they tell me it was cancelled because windshield was on back order. I was at the gym last week and my car window got bashed in to steal my purse that had my whole world in it including my wallet. Heartbreaking! :( Still working everything out. Filed a police report and hope the thief gets busted. They are busy. Didnt have available appointments to fix it until a week later. The day it happened I went to them and they covered the broken window to help until I go back. The workers were really great and vaccuumed out the broken glass too! Luckily they come to you. This has been an unacceptable experience. I've worked in customer service for many years so I usually try to be patient and give the benefit of the doubt when it comes to any business. Will I return here? No Would I recommend? No I'll try and make this brief but at this point I haven't had this issue fixed in 2 weeks with them: I had a chip and crack so I immediately made an appointment online. It would take 3 days for their soonest available appointment and I drive with the crack for 3 days. At the appointment they tell me they can't fill the crack because i drove with it and the vibrations caused the crack to spread. Well...how am I not supposed to drive it when the soonest appointment is 3 days away? They order a whole new windshield so they're going to come to my house. The windshield arrives and it's cracked so they have to order another one and I have to make another appointment. They replace the windshield and 3 hours later my rear view mirror falls off because the adhesive gave out. I make an appointment the next morning to fix it. I arrive and they tell me they cant just fix the mirror they have to replace the whole windshield AGAIN. They send me out to drive the whole weekend with no rear view mirror. The tech arrives this morning to do the replacement. The windshield they were sent IS CRACKED AGAIN. They want me to make another appointment. I am furious at this point because I travel for my work. It is embarrassing and unprofessional to drive a Porsche with a wire dangling in the windshield and glue dripped down to my dash. Even if zero stars was an option I would still give one for the techs, Jeff is sincere and is trying to help me but whatever is happening in the warehouse and with management is unacceptable. They have no sense of urgency and expect customers to take time out of their day for an appointment which they can't even uphold. First visit 4/16/2021: I made an appointment to repair the front windshield of my '99 Honda Civic because of a chip directly in the driver's view. This chip was repaired without issue and I was very pleased with how the windshield looked. During this repair, the technician detected a small crack near the passenger door frame. He attempted to repair this crack at no additional charge (the chip repair was prepaid prior to the service appointment). Unfortunately, the crack repair did not take, and this second repair was deemed a repair failure. Because of this failure, Safelite refunded me the cost of my prepaid payment...without any kind of prompting by me. They just refunded the payment on their own! Big +! (In essence, the original chip repair was free because of the refund.) Ultimately, I would have to replace the windshield as the crack would grow significantly on its own; however, I wasn't in a position to replace it then as I was leaving for a road trip to Texas and didn't want to run the risk of replacing the windshield if there was a chance it could be damaged on the road trip. I decided to wait until my return to get it replaced. Second, recent visit 5/18/2021: I made an appointment online for the windshield replacement last week and signed up for service reminders. I was notified when my new windshield was received and reminders by both email and text regarding the progress of the replacement. The replacement took less than two hours to complete. The invoice was detailed with the charges and was exactly what I had been quoted online. The interior of the car was clean when I picked it up and the windshield looks great! The employees at the counter, a man and a woman, were extremely friendly and provided great customer service. I highly recommend Safelite for any auto glass repair or replacement needs. GK(George) called me just after 8AM and advised me that I was his 1st job of the day which was great for me because now I didn't have too wait between 8:30-1pm.. he arrived promptly, educated me and what he was going too do and how he was going too fix the chip on my brand new Audi (got a chip 5 days after purchase!) he hooked up this high tech machine too my windshield so it could suction all of the air out of the chip.. within 10-15 minutes he was done and I couldn't even tell the chip was ever there! I have called 5 times and it's like no one works for the company. I state my business and the AI keeps telling me to go online. This is not letting me speak to a live person. I had a crack in my windshield and had an appointment with another glass business to replace it. They called me the day before, letting me know that when they went to order the windshield the day before, they were told it would be 2 or 3 days to get it. I called Safelite later the same day. I explained what happened and that I would be shipping my family and our cars to another state a week from then and I really needed this done so the car could be shipped and us not be delayed. And in response, Safelite was amazing. From the ladies who found the windshield to the gentleman who gave me the expedited appointment (whoes names I unfortunately cannot remember) to the excellent technician Eddie and his knowledgeable, proffessional technician trainee Renee. The gentleman who set up the appointment even sent them out from Fresno to where I work in Prather, CA and they took care of it in my work parking lot, in tge 95 degree weather, barely 2 days after I called!
