Nobody likes having to need a windshield repair. Especially when it is no fault of your own. On a recent commute to work I ended up behind a semi carrying rock. One of those rocks flew off the back of the trailer and smacked my windshield and cracked it. As soon as the rock hit, I knew I was going to need to a repair. Luckily for me, my insurance had me covered and sent me here. It was going to be an early day and a long day for me. I showed up when they first opened for the day and hoped that I would get in and out as quickly as possible. This is the only thing that went wrong, the time it took. I thought I was going to be out of here quicker than I thought, but I ended up leaving here a bit later, no biggie as I was with a fixed windshield. I came in, gave them my information and took a seat in the waiting area until it was done. It is a small waiting area with a lot to offer. They have coffee available if that is your thing, chairs aplenty, television, and charging ports all over the place if you need to re-up your phone. While you wait you are given updates on the status of your vehicle and they even took me out to see the finished product before I left. While they were waiting for the glue to dry they also do a thorough carpet cleaning. They did an overall great job on restoring my windshield to pre-crack status and I was on my way for the day. Just hate that the song is stuck in my head all the time now. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. The shop manager was the most unpleasant and unprofessional manager I have ever seen. There are more professional people working the McDonald's drive thru. He was rude and used foul language when addressing me. This location needs a management overhaul! read more

Debris from a coal truck put a good ding in our windshield and we wanted to deal with it before it turned into a crack. Our insurance company referred us to Safelite on Roosevelt Ave and all I had to do was show up. The guys were super courteous, explaining exactly what they'd be doing, and the result was superb--and guaranteed for as long as we own the car. I was in and out of there in 40 minutes with the windshield fixed, the windows cleaned inside and out, and they even vacuumed out the front interior. Wow. Better still, no paperwork and no charges beyond what my insurance company worked out with them. I hope I don't have to fix another windshield any time soon, but if I do, I'm going back to the place, and you should go there to. read more

I will never. EVER take my car back to a Safelite location. My windshield cracked in April 2022, and they got me in quick for a replacement. They couldn't figure out how to calibrate the windshield so they ordered a new one. The replacement took over 5 months to come in. My appointment started at 8am this morning and I haven't heard a thing at 1:23pm. Closing soon and they won't answer the phone or return my calls. beyond frustrated with the service. Now just waiting for them to tell me they don't know how to calibrate my windshield again and again I can drive around with every sensor in my car going off every 30 seconds and every time I start the car. read more

My windshield was broken after a stone chip fractured from one of the snow storms when the heater was turned on. This is a great loss for me, and my life is very busy. If I could rate a zero I would! First and foremost my appointment was between the hours of 8-12pm. Service person did not show up until after 2 pm, this was after I called them and they said he would be here between 1 and 1:30 pm when he did show up he just left without making contact with me. Then when I called the office trying to run him down they had to leave a message. I had to cancel my appointment, definitely going to pay more but I'm going to the dealer!!!!!! read more

Terrible service, prepaid online and took time from work to get my window replace only for them to say they couldn't do it because of slight rust above the windshield. asked for a refund and said it'll take sometime and I wouldn't receive it today even though I didn't receive any service from them. Give your business to the smaller shops that'll take care of you. I made the mistake of going with what I thought was quickest and I paid for it. read more
