Had new windshield put in, they were going to use the generic version but they called me and said that the OEM was best since the vehicle only had 2000 miles on it. YES please!! It did delay the installation by 48 hrs but I got the OEM and very happy with it. It looks great! Was going to charge me $400 to redo the ADAS technology and the windshield itself wasn't but $250.00.. call around because we have more options than this place that wants to steal your money.. and they said they couldn't come out to me. I needed a chip in my windshield repaired. Their phone system is an absolute nightmare. You CANNOT talk to a human being. When I asked to speak to an agent it just hangs up on you. It's no wonder everyone goes to the glass doctor. There's a thing called customer service. Maybe your company you get lessons in it. read more

My insurance broker contracted with Safelife at my request. The TV ads, you know... It took 2 weeks for them to call me and schedule an appointment. This was after prompting by my insurance broker. On the day of my appointment, they called and said the glass had not come in. I was rescheduled. By then, another vehicle had a broken windshield, so I made another claim. Safelife assured me they could do both vehicle repairs the same day. On the day of my repair, I cancelled all my appointments and made arrangements for someone else to take my 102YO mom to her doctor. Safelife called and said my glass had come in damaged and it would take another week to get a good glass in. They had no work order for the 2nd vehicle. I learned from my broker Safelite had LOST the 2nd work order and would be calling me to explain. No one called. I learned I had a conflict for the new appointment and tried to call Safelife, but there was no answer. After 9:15, I called Corp Headquarters in OH. No answer. ​I called my broker and CANCELLED SAFELITE. I called a small company in Bham, named Glass Magic. That was yesterday. Glass Magic just pulled out of my driveway a few minutes ago after fixing BOTH windshields. And they were several hundred $$$s less than SAFELIFE! read more

The service itself was good and the windshield was installed properly. However, there were small shards of glass left all over my floorboard. Luckily, I noticed before anyone was hurt. Employees should vacuum the front floorboard as a precaution. read more

I carried my vehicle to the Oxford locations with two small rock damage repairs. The one in the right corner was small, but after repair it was cracked approximately two to three inches. I was told that if it cracked further that it was covered under warranty and they would replace my windshield. However, it has grew another inch and all they have offered to do is to refund the $60 to the insurance company and charge me $410-440 for new windshield. I should have left that spot alone and just took the risk of it might crack and it might not. Now it is cracked because I had it repaired. Go figure. Lesson learned. read more

So we were on a road trip and our windshield cracked so we called safelite to help fix it. The customer service was not so great. First we had to take it to their shop because the only time they could come to us was five days away however we were leaving in three. Unfortunately the new glass broke and they couldn't do it that day so it was moved to day we were leaving town. Not only did the first mechanic not show up on time he didn't show up at all. When we called them he told us he would be there by 1 which was not only several hours after the promised time but also the time we were gonna leave. From there another Mechanic by the name of Cody picked it up. Cody was amazing he showed up much earlier than the first mechanic promised and we were able to leave on time to get to our destination. He worked efficiently and quick even though twenty of us were all watching him. Cody was a life saver and deserves five stars but the terrible customer service prior doesn't so only 3 stars. read more
