I scheduled a mobile windshield replacement with Safelite, prepaid for the service, and waited a week and a half for my appointment. During that time, I confirmed the appointment multiple times, including the morning the technician was scheduled to arrive. Despite all of the confirmations, no one showed up. I never received a phone call, text message, or email informing me that the appointment had been delayed or canceled. I waited the entire day with no communication whatsoever. I contacted Safelite's national customer service department, where the representative confirmed that my contact information and address were correct in their system. He attempted to reach both the Pearl service center and my assigned technician, Nathan, but neither answered. I was given a phone number for the local office and told to call the next morning. After three separate attempts, no one answered that number either. With no explanation, no communication, and no way to reach the local service center, I ultimately requested a refund. I was informed that it would take 3-5 business days for the refund to be processed, despite having already paid in advance for a service that was never provided. I understand that scheduling issues and unforeseen circumstances can happen. What is difficult to accept is the complete lack of communication and the inability to reach anyone at the local office for an explanation or resolution. A simple phone call or text message would have demonstrated respect for my time and allowed me to make other arrangements. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this Safelite location. Reliable communication and honoring scheduled appointments are fundamental expectations of any service business, and neither was met in my case. read more

I have a company car so they required me to use this shop. I booked and appointment (wouldn't come to me) at 1 PM in a Friday for a windshield replacement. They told me it would be 3-4 hrs for calibration. I was planning on waiting but an hour into it, they hadn't moved my car so I sat there for about 2-1/2 hrs and called someone to pick me up. I tried to call them at 4:30 for a status update. SAFELITE DOES NOT PROVIDE A LOCAL NUMBER TO THEIR SHOP ONLY AN AI GENERATED PHONE TREE. So I have someone drive me over there in the pouring rain at 4:45 only to be told my vehicle wasn't ready. I would've been fine with that if someone would've called me or I had a number to call for an update. The tech offered to stay late but I told him it would be fine tomorrow. They did call me the next day. The quality of the repair was good and the staff was nice. However, I received countless texts and calls reminding me of my appointment to the point of annoyance. Bit, when I tried to reach them I couldn't speak to a live person for a simple update on the repair status. I seriously doubt I'll ever use them again if I have a choice read more

I scheduled a windshield replacement online with the option to drop off at the business opening and pick the vehicle up at the close of business on the same day. I picked an open date on the website. I brought the car to the facility at 8:30 AM on that date and was told I'd get called or texted updates throughout the day. I heard nothing from them all day. Upon trying to call the local shop, all calls were routed to the national Safelite computer automated phone system, so there was no way to contact the local shop in Pearl to get an update on my vehicle. I went to get the vehicle at 4:30 PM, and the car had not been moved from the parking spot where I left it at 8:30 AM. Needless to say, with the business closing at 5pm, the windshield was not replaced. I'd avoid Safelite at all costs if possible. read more

We've used Safelite a few times on a few of our vehicles and we've always been happy with their work, this time was no different. Our windshield had two or three runs in it and we just kept putting off getting it repaired. A week before my daughter was going to go out of town in it we decided to have it replaced. I went online and got an appointment without a problem. The day of the appointment the technician was even able to come early, he was super nice, did a great job, and did it in a timely manner. Came out, as expected, and put in correct eindshiel for my 2016 Ford Focus SE hatchbach.

The technician (I think that's what they called) was very polite and he kept me updated throughout the process. Now far as my windshield, no problem. But my little box that was connected to my window and rear view mirror is dangling. Not sure if that is expected because of the new windshield but a piece of duck tape was folded and placed at the bottom. I would think some type of adhesive glue would probably be better. read more

This Safelite is not good at all. In fact I would say they suck. Had to go to pearl to have windshield replaced because it needs the camera calibrated. Drive 75 minutes to get there after being there less then 5 minutes they couldn't do my work because there was an issue because they ordered an aftermarket glass instead of factory like they were supposed to. Waste of 2.5 hours. No sorry no nothing, just attitude. Said they would call back and reschedule me beginning of following week. It's been 2 weeks never called. didn't order another glass until a week later. The lack of professionalism is astounding. If I weren't forced here by insurance I wouldn't do business. read more

The call center personnel are outstanding! I got to the sight in Pearl and was welcomed like family! They were very efficient and timely with my first vehicle I had to get a windshield repaired on. Very kind and courteous and tentive to my needs. Will definitely be returning in the unfortunate event of getting behind more Mississippi log and gravel trucks spewing rocks like rain! My Cars Windshield was damaged from a kicked up stone. The Tech on the car required me to take the car in to the shop. The Shop verified that they had the correct windshield in stock and revised my scheduled time so I did not have to waste time taking the car in and them not having the glass. Only issue was that when I checked in their was no one or no signage to tell me were to park the car and also they ask me to leave the keys in the car with no security. So I sat in a hot parking lot waiting for a tech to come get the car. read more

I got a chip in my windshield, which expanded quickly in the summer heat. I had to wait about a week and a half to call safelite since I was out of town. However, even with the extended damage, safelite was able to repair it well enough to barely see the original chip. They came to our house, which did cost an extra $20 but definitely worth it. Our serviceman Paxton finished the job in about 20 minutes and even cleaned the rest of my windows. Thank you, Safelite! read more

They replaced my windshield and a back door window. However, they also damaged the inside of the door. Rather than replacing the damaged part, they want their interior lady to try to repair the damage. However, they still haven't been able to schedule the repair. They are not interested in what I want. I want the damaged part replaced instead of some rigged up repair. I will not return here for future glass work. read more
