    0 stars to location on 83rd & union hills 5 stars for Pinnacle peak N 19th ave Hello Safelite, I absolutely refuse to be screwed over by anyone including a place that claims to be a business, or at least this location. (83rd & union hills) Scheduled a windshield replacement, went normal. " we have the permanent glass" they said, that morning they lost the truck and had to tell me. Eventually they would get it and call me which they did but only to tell me they had the temporary glass so my sensors will be out till we get the right glass. Annoying but fine. After getting the permanent glass it looks great, clean/ clear but I notice the rain sensor was absolutely messed up. Went back to ask and the manager was in the back completely rude trying to tell another coworker what to tell me again with attitude to his own. Ridiculous. Then his partner tells me the didn't mount it right and I inform them about a sensor not working and he tries telling me it was a custom setting that got put to default which is a lie. Nothing comes custom. Look it up, that part is on the buyer or user. Asked if I had a warranty cause I because I was maybe a week or two after the month but my answer to that is, if you did it right the first time then we wouldn't be here but no lie, cheat, and whatever else to get by right? Seems how places are going lately. Issues one after another over you just doing a job right. I call a sister store to have this fixed because I can't trust the first location anymore nor do I care to fight like children. We are adults and this is what happens. Thank you to Brandon, I had the privilege to put my trust in the same business and give it another go around, thank you Brandon for helping me with my dilemma and rectifying a whole other stores problem! That deserves to be noticed! His location is off Pinnacle Peak n 19th ave The difference speaks for itself lol wow thank you so much!!!!

    I cant say they are completely to blame for my small windshield crack not being repaired, but it wasn't a very big crack to begin with.

I called a couple other glass companies recommended by my insurance that opened early and neither had any appointment's available that day to replace my windshield. I called Magic Windshields because they were close to my work. Magic Windshields opened early so I called them right when they opened. I spoke with Gracie who was very helpful and checked with the installers and manager to make sure they could get my windshield replaced before I left work. I needed to leave work by 2pm at the latest and she made sure it would happen. I was also informed the company was also a recommended shop by my insurance, so that was a nice bonus. Gracie told me they could get it done and come to my work to get it done before 1pm. Cristian, the installer called me about 10 minutes before he arrived and quickly replaced my windshield. I am extremely thankful they were able to help me out so quickly and get me back on the road. The interaction I had with both employees was very pleasant and professional and the install was great.

This cheap quality glass is easily chipped/cracked which might make you a repeat customer and costing more money. Seems like a immoral business model/practice to sell cheap glass that most likely will need repair or replacement soon after installation. Buyer Beware!

What stood out to me even more was their service recovery. There was a small item I had requested that was initially overlooked. While it was inconvenient to have to come back another day, John handled the situation the right way. He was genuinely apologetic, took full accountability, and made sure it was addressed without hesitation. That kind of ownership goes a long way. Mistakes happen, but how a business responds is what matters--and in this case, they showed professionalism and care. I left feeling respected and taken care of. I requested a quote online over the weekend and received a call Monday morning. John set me up with an appointment and ordered the windshield then and there. What was the most helpful that he called my insurer while I was on the phone with him. My insurer told me that the crack had to be larger than a silver dollar to cover replacement. They went on to say that Blue Chip was not a partner of their insurance company. I asked the insurer if that meant that they wouldn't cover the windshield if Blue Chip replaced it. John promptly jumped in and told me that the windshield would be covered 100%, but that the warranty would be covered by Blue Chip rather than my insurer. I appreciated the clarification. He told me that there would be zero out of pocket cost to me. The insurer told me that the repair would be covered and John did the rest (which was literally everything). Blue Chip replaced the windshield right in my driveway, again, at no cost to me. The service tech, Dan, was on-time and went out of his way to answer my questions, like calibration of the camera. Since my vehicle was newer, it had a camera for emergency braking and adaptive cruise control, which required calibration by an authorized tech when the windshield was replaced. Blue Chip took care of that as well. Dan showed me where the camera was mounted and why it needed to be calibrated with the windshield change. Dan was professional, competent, fast and friendly. In the end, I got a shiny new windshield installed by professionals at no cost to me. I have found my permanent glass company!

    I would not recommend this company…read more I made an appointment through Yelp and scheduled my vehicle for window tinting on a Friday at 10:00 a.m. I was originally told the job would take only a couple of hours, and my plan was to wait for the vehicle. When I arrived, I was informed they were running behind and that the car would likely be ready around 3:00 p.m. They told me they would call about 30 minutes before pickup. By 3:00 p.m., I still hadn't heard anything, so I called them myself. I was then told the car would be ready in about 30 minutes. I headed over and picked it up. When I got home, I noticed they had removed my dash camera in order to install the tint, which is understandable. However, they did not properly remove the adhesive stickers associated with the camera. On one side, it appears they cut the tint around the sticker, leaving the edge of the tint lifted. On the other side, they applied the tint partially over the sticker. Now, if I want to properly remove the sticker and reinstall everything correctly, I would have to risk lifting or damaging the tint. This is something that should have been addressed during installation. The passenger side looked fine, but the work around the dash camera was sloppy and unprofessional. I called the shop, explained the issue, and was told it would be taken care of. I was asked to send photos, which I did immediately. After sending the pictures, I never received a follow-up response. Mistakes happen, but what really disappointed me was the lack of communication and follow-through.
