The technician is great. They will come out to you and replace your windshield. They will alsocharge your insurance company directly, so there is no out of pocket cost. That part is great. The bonus that they offer is kind of a scam. They offer a free dinner at Rodizio's grill but won't send you your certificate unless you hound them for it. You have to call back, and if you leave a voicemail, they don't return your call. Both my son and I had our windshields replaced through them, after multiple calls they finally sent the Rodizio's gift certificates but they expire in a couple of days. Also, they claim to give a $50 referral to both the person who referred you and the recipient of the new glass but then won't pay this. read more

While my insurance website was down on the day I called to schedule my service, communication was not the best, but they finally did call back the next day to schedule the windshield replacement. I was informed what to expect in form of cashback at time of installation, and I received the cashback and dinner certificate the next day, a great value for the service. I used this company for a windshield replacement on my Hyundai Elantra on April 16th. The technician, Jesus M, came out to do the install. I was told I'd receive a $350 cash-back incentive along with a dinner certificate -- a big reason why I chose this company over others in the Valley. Not only did I not receive the full incentive, but I had to reach out multiple times via chat and phone just to get anything sent. After a week of delays and follow-ups, they finally sent a $50 Visa card, not $350. When I questioned the discrepancy, I was told the amount was based on what they billed my insurance -- which they still haven't provided a receipt or cost breakdown for, despite my repeated requests. Had I known I'd only be getting $50, I absolutely would have gone with another company that was offering me more and was transparent up front. This feels deceptive. To make matters worse, the installation quality is poor. There's a seam inside the car that's come loose since day one, and the windshield itself seems warped or wavy on the driver's side. It creates a distortion that makes it feel like you're looking through prescription lenses -- it's nauseating and unsafe. I've tried to be patient and polite, but this has been an incredibly frustrating experience. I hope someone from the company takes this seriously and makes it right -- starting with providing the billing breakdown and addressing the defective install. "Marketing Manager, Luis Scott" came door to door at my apartment complex. I was actually glad to see them bc there's a crack in my windshield I needed to take care of. I told him this as soon as he said who he was. He asked to take care of it right away n he was cheerful. He asked where's my car n how long I had a crack. I gestured where it was, said "a month", and asked for a biz card. As soon as I asked for the card he caught an attitude. Pulled out his phone to the digital biz card n said he can show me invoices. I said I'd rather not do it now, (I'm in the middle of cooking dinner and a few other things) and he says he doesn't like to give his number bc ppl don't call back. I recently had my windshield replaced by nuvision, expecting a seamless experience like I have before with them and proper calibration of my car's safety features. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The technician came and fixed my windshield but said he couldn't calibrate it because of some windshield issue? I don't really know. But said they would get ahold of me and switch the glass and calibrate my car. Despite multiple follow-up calls and assurances that a technician would come back to fix the calibration, I am still waiting. It's been 2 months and my car's safety features are still not functioning correctly, posing a potential risk while driving. The lack of communication and follow-through from Nuvision is incredibly frustrating. I have used this company because I've used them in the past and had no issues but my experience this time has been disappointing. After a 30 minute phone call (most of it being on hold) I was finally informed that the technician would arrive a little after the originally scheduled window. I tried to use them to replace my car's windshield, they answered my call to start the process, and once I filed the claim with my insurance, they either took a long time to reply or didn't at all, their response when they finally answered was " we haven't received approval from your insurance " so I called my insurance company to see what was going on and they told me that they have been trying to contact the glass company but they wouldn't answer. I then tried calling NuVision, and of course they didn't answer and I was on hold for a while, so I ended up switching to another company and I was approved and scheduled within 10 minutes. The initial phone call was fine, pleasant and although it took some time, everything was scheduled for my 2 vehicles to get the windshields replaced at the same time on a Tuesday for a 9am to 1pm window. This is where everything changed. I was expecting to hear from a technician, instead I received a text saying that my technician was scheduled to arrive from 12pm to 5pm, so I called and asked if there was a mistake. They said no mistake, they just were booked up and had to switch it without any attempt to make it at the time they agreed to. So it seems that they over book their customers, and if they are running behind they will just arbitrarily change your appointment to fit their needs and send a text telling you thats how it is. I said fine, its still for the same day, but i had already rescheduled my morning to make sure i was available as I work from home. Although it was inconvenient i still need a shattered windshield replaced and didnt want to wait several more days. Fast forward to me getting a random call i was unable to take as I was in a meeting, followed by a text message saying the tech was trying to reach me and to call the office. 20 minutes later after my meeting was done I called the number and they told me they now will be over on Thursday. I was shocked and asked why that was, and was told the technician came to my house and I wasnt immediately available for them so they took pictures to prove they were there and left. I have a Ring camera, no one came to the door, and no one pulled up to the house so they must have parked down the street. Not even a call from the technician to let me know they were on their way prior to getting here, just show up when they feel like it, and then leave without even attempting to knock on the door. I expressed my concern to the person at the call center and they really do not care about the experience just saying "i understand" then saying "We called you at 1:42 and you didnt answer" as if I am going to stop what I am doing for a 5 hour window so I can make sure to answer as soon as a random number calls my phone. The whole experience today was horrendous and lacks every part of customer service. I can understand if things happen, if there needs to be a change in what was agreed upon when booking the appointment, but this needs to be DISCUSSED WITH THE CUSTOMER and not just decided by the company and forced to go along with it. What type of company that sends technicians out to your house doesnt call before hand to say they are on their way? I dont believe I have ever worked with a company that did not call you to say they are on the way. This is pretty much an industry standard. I am convinced this is a tactic to force customers to reschedule by telling you that it is your fault, when they clearly overbook their time slots knowing they can just drive to a house, take a few pictures and run away blaming the customer. I've got a newer Subaru that requires glass calibration so that once a new windshield is installed, my cameras for detecting driver settings and safety features like auto drive and auto braking can continue to function. After my glass got a giant crack on it driving on the Freeway, I decided to go with NuVision because I would receive a $175 rebate and the glass company my insurance recommended didn't offer this. This seemed like a fabulous deal. Crack your windshield, get paid. Why not! Also, I got a free meal (but the restaurant is in Mesa which is too far for me). Unfortunately, that money didn't cover the time I've spent on hold, on phone calls and waiting on three separate appointment windows to fix my windshield successfully. After each appointment, I've had to make phone calls to NuVision, and received zero follow-up phone calls when they were promised. I'm a busy single mom who has been driving around with my young kids for a month and a half without the normal safety features like auto drive and braking that worked great before they replaced my glass. I miss my driver recognition feature as well. That disappeared too. I just called again, after waiting weeks to do so. They were supposed to contact me, but that hasn't yet happened. I'm pretty sure their Warranty call center is in the Philippines too. It's certainly outsourced outside of the US. If you have a newer vehicle don't be a cheap ass like I was and go with NuVision for the $175 rebate. Go with the certified calibration techs your insurance recommends. I use USAA, I'm a combat veteran and they take care of me. Of course, you're welcome to find out. You'll see. I'm hoping this next appointment window that I'm promised someone will call back to schedule with me in the next 30 minutes finally does the trick. Fingers crossed. read more

If you have adaptive, cruise control, and Windshield cameras do not deal with this company I've already had three errors come up about the camera not being calibrated correctly the rain sensor wipers malfunctioning and automatic highbeam not working I've called customer service plenty of times. They'v only mentioned that I would have to wait on hearing back from their warranty team (which never did, I had to call back). Frustrating how this isn't a priority issue when not only is it affecting one thing it's affecting multiple that I use on a daily basis. They caused more issues than to begin with. Update: Scheduled appointment for Saturday technician shows up and leaves within 5 minutes because he doesn't have the proper tools. Says I should be hearing from Nuvision to reschedule appointment. Never received a call so once again I called them and they are unable to set up a new appointment because the lead technician isn't answering his phone. It's been a saga just to get somebody to actually show up for an appointment. I initially scheduled my appointment on a Friday for the following Monday. Normally when you say on a Friday that you'll set something up for 'Monday' you mean the very next Monday. The person set it up for a week from Monday for some reason, however, so I was left waiting for 3 hours with nobody showing up- waiting on hold for 30+ min and ultimately hanging up realizing nobody is coming. I'm a therapist and so clearing space in my schedule costs me because thats time I'm not working waiting for them to come by. Eventually the guy with NuVision got in touch with me and cleared up the confusion. We set up an appointment for the following day- Tuesday (today as I'm writing this). I show up at 9 (window was 9-1) and sure enough, 1:00 starts to roll around and nobody is coming. I contact the guy with Nuvision I've been working with and get zero response. Then I call the main customer service line and surprise surprise- no appointment was set up. So TWO days in a row I have come in, moved appointments in my schedule around only to have nobody from NuVision show up. Really, really frustrated with how much time I've spent just trying to get a bleeping appointment. Still trying to get somebody here as I'm writing this but they won't be able to come now until tomorrow. I've been trying to get my windshield replaced. I've gone through Nuvision twice over the last 4 years, and I never had a problem. However, I set up an appointment and slept through it, as I was recently moved to the graveyard shift. Called the installer who says he would talk to his dispatch and reschedule me for the following day. After the time frame passed the following day, I started calling the dispatch to set up an appointment. The automated prompts say stay on the line and that I was next up in queue. Only the call would end after 3 minutes, called back several times, only to have the same issue. So I just stopped calling, a month later (now about a week ago) an East Indian woman left a voicemail telling me to schedule a time to replace my windshield. I called twice today, was on hold for just over 30 minutes before they hung up the first time. Called back and less than 3 minutes, it went to voicemail the second time. My windshield got hit with a rock, I called this company. They replaced it. A day later the molding in the top of the windshield came off and scratched the roof of my truck. I called them, took forever to get them to call me back, when they finally did, they came and "fixed" the molding. A day after it came off again and scratched it again. Now I've been calling for 2 months and they've been putting off. I finally threatened them with a bad review. This is what he said. Lies! Michelle, this is Joe the Warranty Manager at Nuvision Auto Glass. I reviewed your case and the new photos provided. We do have photos of these scratches before we initially touched your car. I also showed these to my lead tech and he stated these must be from the top wash roller at a car wash possibly. There is no way this could have happened from that molding. Unfortunately this does not fall under our warranty. Thanks So now I have no molding and the car wash is being blamed. Never have I had problems with the car wash. SMH. Do not go to nuvision. I used this company through my Car Insurance, State Farm. Thought it was a great deal. But do not trust their shady employees/installers. On 01/25/21, One of their installers showed up seemingly buzzed and obviously hungover and was very grumpy. But then he requested to "work in the garage".
