I went in to get my window replaced on 8/27 and when i got my car back I noticed my passenger side trash can was not on the door. I looked in the back seat and it looked like it was just tossed back there because the main lid was popped off and the lid you push down to put trash in was off as well with the spring . I took it back inside and the front desk guy helping me fixed it. But i was still frustrated what i wasn't notified it was broken even if it was an accident. The next day I started looking closer at my floor and could see very tiny pieces of glass and a few chunks of bigger pieces . There were also pieces of black rubber left on my floor board as well. I was never told that the window partly broke when being replaced and that there could possibly be glass in my car. The person who i spoke to was super nice and said he would have the manager call me. 24 hours later and no response . I called again and a lady at the call center said it could take 24-48 hours for a manager to contact me so i decided to wait another 24 hours which would put me at 8/39. Still no response. She did call the location and they said i could bring my car back in to be vacuumed but i didn't want to take it back to them when i can do it myself. Disappointed in the lack of communication and a manager not reaching out. I also have dogs so if I would have had one in my car and they got glass in their paw pads, that would have been a whole other issue. read more

If I could give this place a negative star, I would. Look at my pic for the quote that offered. When I got there, the guy hiked it to 800 dollars (from the original quote of 309). Blamed it on 'reprogramming due to a safely issue' which costs 495 additional. More than the windshield itself. The same place installed our windshield before without this crazy made up hefty fee. After showing him the original quote, he offered me a 150 off. Basically they inflate the price and then "give you a deal". I left with the worst feeling of frustration. First things first, the service here was great. My experience talking to the technician was terrific, but I expected more from my glass to be repaired. I understand it's a surface-level thing, and it wasn't a complete windshield repair; it just focused on the crack. Though the damage is non-existent on the outside, on the inside, you can still see the damage, but just not as bad. The reason why I didn't come out of pocket because I am fully insured through my car insurance. I might have to come back and replace the entire glass, which I will have to pay my deductible, something to consider. read more

Do not believe the pessimistic booking wizard who says, "Limited waiting area! Leave the car and go somewhere pleasant!" There is ample seating for a whole football team, and Dunkin's pod coffee, and cold water. And free Wi-Fi, but I wasn't there long enough to need it. Rock chip from an hour before was repaired in about fifteen minutes. This'll keep it from growing and it's invisible from the driver's view. Price was good enough I didn't fuss with insurance claim. Down at the south terminal end of Peek Road they're serving up capable, respectful glass care. It looks like an undiscovered asset for Alief, Mission Bend, Richmond. read more

I only relieve reviews when I receive exceptional service and today is one of those times "D" at the front desk took care of me and made me aware of what was going to take place and how long it would take. The guys in the back did a great job and were very professional. I 10 out of 10. recommend this store if you're looking to bring your vehicle in for a new windshield. read more

They came out with the wrong glass and have never contacted us back horrible customer service

I am highly disappointed with Safelite's service. First, on Tuesday August 28th, I was scheduled for someone to come to my house to repair my windshield and no one called to inform me that they didn't route anyone to my house, so I had to call the next day because I did not hear from anyone and that's when I was told that no one was routed. They then rescheduled me for Saturday August 31st, and I received a call later that evening saying that the replacement windshield was damaged at the warehouse and they had to reschedule again! They rescheduled for September 3rd, so I took it into the shop to have my windshield replaced. I dropped my car off and made it back home then I received a call from a safelite representative stating that the glass was damaged again and it had a scratch on it down the middle. He said the scratch was pretty long and asked if I still wanted it, but I said no I would just like you to refund my money and I'll come pick my car up. This was the second time I took off from work. I feel like they wasted my time and money because I had to take an Uber there to drop my car off and an Uber back to my house. After I made it home when they called I had to take another Uber to pick my car up. I am Highly upset, hopefully someone from corporate can contact me! read more

I came to get my windshield replaced and the front desk clerk Laquisha was so rude and unprofessional. She had her AirPods in her ears on the telephone taking the entire time about how she's been taking her lashes off. I opted to pay out of pocket since my deductible was 500 and online it quoted me a price of $814 which I thought well I might as well just go ahead and pay out of pocket rather than file the claim on my insurance and risk getting a premium increase at time of renewal. She goes well you gonna pay the whole 1300 or whatever the cost was. I indicated that's not the quoted price online. She proceeds to say online is just for the windshield which I find it funny because it clearly stated full replacement including recalibration and labor but whatever. I asked her for my credit card back and she goes I gave it to you, I look in my wallet and it wasn't so I was like hmm let me check if i threw it in my purse. I ended up finding it but the remarks she made towards me after I told her I found it was just rude, disgusting and uncalled for. Stating I knew I gave it to you. By this time I'm sitting in the waiting room and she is yelling from across the room. Oh when they finally finished with my car and I got the email receipt, guess what my total was $838.38. I will be calling Monday and request to speak to the manager of this location. I should have made the extra drive to the Rosenberg location because I never had no issues there. read more
