I had a windshield replaced on Dec 28 2018 and on Jan 10 I got a rock chip and the windshield still had the tape on from the install called Safelite they said to fix the rock chip would cost 98 dollars and the cost of the windshield was 200 dollars I said I thought you had a warranty cause it states it does on the receipt and on commercial WRONG they do not cover rock chips and it would cost 98 dollars to fix the rock chip hard to pay 98 dollars on a rock chip when technaglass it is cover for free when you buy one from them so lesson learn DONT BUY FROM SAFELITE they were not understanding when I called them 200 for a new windshield 98 for a rock chip ... Had an awful experience at Safelite on Monday. Went in to get my appointment to get my windshield replaced and found out that the lady who scheduled me and quote me told me nothing right about what it was going to cost or what my insurance would cover despite them having all my information. I called my insurance and researched the situation for about 20 mins because they wanted me to pay $170 more than what I was expecting. In the end I told them to do it and I would work it out with the insurance and they told me they could no longer work on my car because it had been 20 minutes and that I would have to come back another day. I said really after your people telling me everything wrong and wanting me to pay $170 more than what is quoted and you are now telling me to walk out. They said yes. Talk about a business who doesn't stand behind their product. . I went in for a rock chip repair two months after Paying for a new windshield. First they told me that if they accidentally break the windshield during the rock chip repair that I was responsible to pay for the new one. Secondly most companies provide free rocketship replacement if you purchased your windshield there. Not these guys. $79. What a rip off! Then the worker told me that's why other companies no longer exist because they ran their company into the ground for having free rock chip repairs. read more

Went here to see if they could attach a broken defrost lead on a Nissan Armada for the rear window. The manager Jake tried to fix it but could not. We went ahead and let them replace it because the cost was so reasonable. We made an appointment and the installation was done just as specified. Jake and crew are not only nice and cordial but they really try to take care of their customers. I really appreciate everything they did and I will be back in the future. read more

I'm giving this company five stars because their front desk costumer service was amazing. The girls were super fast and friendly. They got my sunroof replaced in no more than 35 minutes. Only complaint was when I got the truck back there was quite a bit of glass covering the inside. read more

My car stalled on the road so I called these guys. They asked me to describe the symptoms the car was having, and they suggested that I check a couple things. I appreciate the fact that they gave me an answer to fix the problem over the phone and free of charge! A lot of other shops would just tell me to bring it in for diagnostics, and charge me money, and take up my time. So you think they would get it right. Coordinated install over the phone, made appointment using computer in reply to email. Wife sat around all morning, yes....they brought the wrong windshield. Rescheduled, brought the wrong windshield a second time. Finally got the right windshield. Wife went to get in the car, they had left it so dirty that she had to clean the drivers seat, then vacuum when got home. Would never ever suggest they come to you and install. Maybe they do better at the location. I'll use some body else next time. read more

I have had a rock chip in my window for some time now, and finally got as minute to stop by the safelight shop. They got me in, and repaired in a speedy manor and I was on my way. I have used Satellite to fix two separate rock chip repairs through my insurance company. Trent has been the representative sent both times and I have been extremely impressed with his work (the rock chips are hardly visible now). He is very professional and made extra effort to vacuum my car and clean the windows. The widow repair guy Jake was awesome! I show up for my appointment and as I was pulling into the parking lot my trucks fuel line popped off and and came running out to tell me before I even had time to park it. Not only did he tell me, I had to leave for work so he said he would fix it. Later I get a call and my window was replaced he called me and let me know that it was done and went to go get a part for my truck to fix it! i didnt even want to give them one star but unfortunately i had to. Safelite is one of the worst companies i have ever dealt with. Between customer service and repairs. They did not put my car back together properly and i had a traumatic experience while driving on the freeway with my windshield wipers completely coming off,and in the process they damaged my car. Then when i went to get it fixed they ordered the wrong parts, so i went and bought the parts and still have not been reimbursed, and i presented quotes to have my car fixed for the damaged they created and they still have not taken the initiative to get it fixed at all. In addition my father got his done as well by them and they put his windshield wipers on backwards. It is a ridiculous company and the people who work there are not qualified or responsible enough to work on cars. This company should be reevaluated by the better business Bureau. Do not waste your time or money on this company. read more

Such an awesome experience! I had scheduled a mobile change; unfortunately it began to rain and the tech (Johnny) wasn't able to finish. He was incredibly nice and willing to accommodate in any way he could. I opted to go into the shop. Johnny was EXTREMELY fast, very courteous, and just genuinely nice. Technician called 10 minutes from arrival to my office and told me he was almost there. I really appreciate the courtesy call. Once he get here he took a quick look at the two chips in my windshield and go to work. At some point during his work order my boss noticed him working in the parking lot and asked him to fix a chip in his own windshield while he was here. He did 2 chips in my windshield and one in my boss' truck in about 45 minutes. He was quick and hard working. He also patiently waited between 5-10 minutes while i finished with a client in our showroom before taking me outside for a visual inspection and explanation of his work. So grateful Safelite came to our office. I don't have time to go to a shop until the weekends and I needed it done quickly. I filed a claim with my insurance and I didn't pay a penny. I will continue to use Safelite for as long as I need chip repair. Thanks guys! read more

Rob and Luke were awesome! I highly recommend this place for everyone and anyone, business or personal use. I called Mike to set it up, and he got me in first thing in the morning. Rob was super friendly, personable, and squared away everything with my insurance. He told me it would be 90 minutes, obviously underestimating Luke's super quick skills changing our my windshield in about half an hour. He vacuumed and washed the other windows and while I was waiting, they actually had magazines that I wanted to read (sports and business) within their squeaky clean facility. Because they worked so fast, I didn't get to finish my article I was reading so I asked if I could buy the magazine from them. Rob said he could make a copy of the article so when I tried to thumb through to find it, he just gave it to me. That sealed the deal and will make me a loyal customer to these guys. I loved the convenience of having the service performed in my work parking lot. Working 8-5 in the city makes it hard to run normal daily errands and my weekends are already too short. It was nice to have this taken care of without having to miss hours at my job. I was also surprised when I returned to my car to find all the other windows cleaned and my car vacuumed. It was a nice little extra touch that I appreciated. Anything that makes a single mom's life's little easier is always a bonus in my book! read more

Getting a rock chip while on a long distance trip is a real bummer! A couple of days before stopping in Sandy, UT to visit with my sister, I got a beaut of a chip! When I got to my sister's place and told her what happened she recommended a Safelite shop that was close by. I called and made an appointment for the next day. When I checked in the gals at the customer service counter took care of me and were extremely courteous. Quicker then I could believe the service tech came in to tell me my car was ready. I went out to check, and the chip had almost complete disappeared! It was hard for me to tell where the chip has been! I've had rock chip repaired on other vehicles that I've owned - this repair and service was the best ever! read more
