Tomas of Dublin CPR Classes made sure the class was fun and informative. Made sure we understood the basics and techniques of CPR/AED.

Although it was a bit of a drive for me (I'm in SF), I'm glad I took Tomás' CPR class in Dublin. It was taught in a simple, clear, and concise manner through lecturing, videos, demos, and hands-on training. Tomás is patient and often repeats in order to emphasize the importance of certain details. He doesn't leave anyone behind and is also considerate of the students by making sure to have snacks and drinks. He makes sure we have the adequate amount of hours training while keeping tabs on the time. I would definitely recommend taking a class here. read more

I really enjoyed taking this class! My class was in Dublin with Tomás. He made the class very educational while also making it fun and relaxed. Creating a relaxed environment allowed the students to take a deep breath, not stress about the quiz at the end, and really learn and take in the information being taught. This location also offered some snacks, coffee, water, tea, etc. You also get your card at the end rather than having it sent to you a few weeks after! I dreaded taking this class but after taking it here, I really enjoyed it and know I'll come back to this location/CPR company to renew my license in two years. read more

Great teacher.... went for just a renewal and so we went thru the steps quickly as a review and then showed our cpr skills and that was it.

Taking this CPR class was extremely thorough and fun! Wendy, the instructor, was really engaging and helpful. She made sure that any questions we had were addressed. When it was time to practice the skills we learned, she made sure we could all do it by demonstrating and guiding us when we were having problems. I have to start out saying Nina H., is such an awesome teacher. I had a not so pleasant experience at another facility, which I won't name, as I don't believe in throwing people under the bus, (karma has a way of taking care of that) So, with that said, I was a little nervous about this class. I do have to mention that the questions are a little tricky, so you have to be very careful when reading them. Nina assured everyone in the class that she would help them to understand the ones they missed before they left. She was very knowledgeable about the content of the training, as well as hands-on with the mannequins. I believe she said she was an EMT also; so her experience makes her sensitive to techniques used, which is very important in saving a life. She was thorough in her explanations and easy to understand. I will not hesitate in renewing my training with her at this facility. I also like the fact that they give you your own personal mouthpiece, which appeals to my OCD. lol read more

The sign up was easy on online. The location is a bit hidden , but a yellow big sign of CPR Classes makes it fairly visible. Plenty of parking. The instructor Wendy is very knowledgeable and funny.Makes the class very interactive , points out exactly what you need to retain and what is important for the test. The CPR class is next to a PET grooming business, so quite some barking was audible, but the instructor was quite entertaining and loud, so was no problem. I will recommend it to my friends and coworkers because the instructors are knowledgeable , classes entertaining so you"LL retain information very fast and location is close to some good shopping stores. read more

I was dreading to renew my CPR BLS certification today, thinking "man I'm going to be in a boring class for 3 hours..." but boy was I wrong! The instructor I had was Nina. As soon as I walked in she greeted me with a great big smile; she was very friendly and welcoming! She made the course so much fun and better than I thought it would be unlike the previous ones I had taken elsewhere. You can tell she knew what she was talking about, was very knowledgeable, and most importantly you can tell that she loves what she does. Tomas was a great instructor! You can tell a good instructor when they can crack the joke that they didn't try for, when they can dissect the info and give you the base fundamentals, and read the needs of the class. Tomas was amazing. There was very little sleepy time in this class. He kept us engaged and didn't just put in the video and then walk out on us. He would actually come back in and stop the video and then tell us something like; "don't worry about what they just said. I fact it's all bad. Just forget it. All you need to know is these 5 steps. 1.Seen safe, 2.ask for help, 911, and an AED, 3. check for breathing 4. Compressions 30:2 5. PUSH THE ON BUTTON FOR THE AED!!!! I recently went to get my First Aid and CPR training with a couple of adults and several teenagers who needed their re certification. Knowing that this was going to be a long day (5 hours) we all prepared for it. To my surprise the training went by very quickly. First Aid training was aided by video and the instructor gave additional information as needed. The instructors were professional and friendly and were able to teach with comfort to all ages and professions in the room as well as share their perspective on First Aid/CPR. I will definitely go back when I need to re-certify again. read more
