Instructor Rhonda was concise and efficient. 6 out of 9 registrants participated and we finished in 3.5 hrs. They provided coffee, tea, and Granola bars. Free street parking on Sundays, too! We were a group of 9, all who work for the same company. I have been dealing with Danielle for about a month inquiring about pricing, scheduling and such. She has been such a pleasure to work with! She has returned all my emails promptly, answered my calls and addressed all of my questions. Coordinating for a group of 14, 9 who attended yesterday, was not easy, but Danielle was very accommodating. Honestly, my group, which attended today--7/30, was dreading the 5 hour class. HOWEVER!!! We had an excellent instructor, Rasheed, who made our experience enjoyable and interactive. He clearly loves what he does. I can speak for our company and state that this was an excellent experience from beginning to end and highly recommend coming here for CPR/First Aid Certification. 2nd time here for my BLS renewal and I was not disappointed. Instructors are knowledgable, experienced and personable. They make what can be a very dry 3 hour course, that most of us have taken many times, interesting and as painless as possible. Rasheed was funny, energetic and shared some great tips that he's acquired during his 15 year career. Def coming out of this class feeling confident about a skill I've luckily never had to use. read more

Took a wrong class and called them ASAP.. They accomodated me right away and gave 50% off for a BLS class.. I went straight from hospital shift Worrying im not gonna be able to absorb everything since im almost getting sleepy and tired already.. Thinking of 3hrs more to keep me up its a big deal. Anyway.. Good experience! No waiting around, just got right to business on time and kept my interest the entire 5 hours! JP was my instructor and was efficient and very aware of people's need to get on with their days....he was engaging when he needed to be, had a sense of humor, and provided just enough guidance between the videos and practice on the dummies. I took the CPR portion of this class on a Saturday morning. It was easy to enroll, easy to park, and the teacher, JP, was outstanding. He was clear, concise and didn't waste any time. He answered all questions (although there weren't many because he explained things really clearly). I have taken CPR every two years for the past ten years for my job, and JP's class stands out as the best one yet. Highly recommended. read more

I am in the healthcare field and am constantly renewing my BLS/CPR. This has been by far the best class that I have been to. It did not drag on as others had in the past. Our instructor JP was very engaging and went at a good pace for lecture and practice. I would highly recommend this class. Plus at the end you get your card and don't have to wait for it to be mailed to you, definitely a bonus. read more

I'm an expectant mother, and I found the class very helpful and informative. There was a range of people in attendance - college/HS students and working professionals. The instructor, a former Navy rescue diver, was excellent. Good pace, great at answering questions and hilighting important points and very easy to follow. I went in thinking it would be a boring afternoon. I came out thinking: that went fast! It was an interactive class, and I very much enjoyed it. read more

This was the most perfunctory, rushed CPR/AED class I've experienced. I believe it was listed as 3 hours. We were out in 2. The instructor was personable and credible, but he talked in a stream-of-consciousness and tossed off quick remarks that were lost on my poor hearing. (Hearing aids ON.) Yeah, I'm bored with these classes but have to get the cert. So while I'm there, I expect a serious approach with good repeat practice. There was very little attention to individuals' skills (compressing far enough? getting chest inflation? right rhythm?). I never did get the infant to "inflate" and we just kept blasting forward. The video segments were good for the basics, and lots of repetition. The hands-on practice was not so strong. read more

I took the CPR and First Aid classes a few months ago in preparation for an EMT class. Adam was the instructor, and he did a great job in giving us hands-on experience and "how-it-is-in-the-field" stories and advice. It's hard for these classes to keep your attention for the duration, so nice job Adam on getting us all through while keeping us engaged. read more

Good class! I took CPR for healthcare providers The instructor was great. He taught with a combination of videos and hands on practice. We practiced individually and in pairs which taught us how to handle different scenarios. The class length was 2 1/2 hours which gave plenty of time to go over everything but wasn't so long that we were burnt out. The one thing that wasn't covered was how to do rescue breathing without the auxiliary device (I don't know what it's called. It's the plastic mask thing.) It's important to know since 99.9% of people will not have access to that piece of equipment in case of an emergency. (I don't even know where to buy one.) Luckily, I remember how to do maskless rescue breathing from previous CPR classes. read more

Having taking CPR/First Aide courses for 30 years plus, i highly recommend to all Safety Training Seminars. This past Sat., was the second time myself and my staff have taking the Pediatric courses required by State Licensing for Childcare, which are not always easy to access. Anyway, location, parking, facility, etc. are great, and Tomas, our instructor was excellent! Very personable, with great expertise. He was patient with all of us, moved us through the course smoothly, and just did a great job. I will be back with my staff every 2 years! Thanks. read more

Our instructor, Steph, was great. She kept it fast-paced, with good tips interspersed with humor. We also found a Groupon so it was a very reasonable cost. The CPR/AED portion is highly recommended. The First Aid section covers a lot of material and was more video based, but was still very helpful. read more

I learned the basics and was able to practice CPR so it was useful. I am glad I took this course. The classroom itself was cold so I had to wear a thick parka most of the time and during the last 2 hours of the course the room was filled with a noxious smell that caused my eyes to water. I would give them more stars except for the discomfort which may have only been that one afternoon in Berkeley. I had another concern and I was pleased that the company was very responsive and they dealt with it in a very professional manner. read more

I took the Adult & Infant CPR, AED and First Aid class to renew my certifications. My instructor was excellent. He enlivened the class with anecdotes drawing on his extensive experience. The material was well-presented with lots of hands on experience and lots of "tricks of the trade." I will definitely be coming back here for future classes. read more

Never done CPR training. It was helpful, especially the additional comments the teacher made. His extra advice made me feel much more understanding about how an emergency situation might look and feel. I will be very interested in going every time I need a renewal. read more
