Yessenea, offered to see what she can do about the review although, she told me that Gary and Tosh are gentleman and yeah, that might be her experience, but let's not discount ours. I was asked to clean up this review, and offered a refund. first, she was offering me the 20 minutes that was owed to me then she offered me an hour and then she said she would just refund me whatever I had spent with them. But let's go onto the review, that has now been modified. This instructor/Manager Tosh or Tosch. Not sure how to spell his name. He came and picked up my daughter who is only 15. She's a very sweet innocent girl who has been homeschooled and I have done everything | can to shelter and protect her as a mother. He had her drive around the streets of Thousand Oaks, Tosh had her drive for probably an hour, and then told her to pull into a CVS parking lot in Thousand Oaks. He told her his button is missing from his pants and then he lifted his shirt and showed her. He pointed to the area in question. THIS COMPANY THREATEN TO SUE ME CAUSE THEY DIDNT LIKE ME SAYING THE AREA IN QUESTION WITH SOME DETAILS. SO THIS REVIEW HAS BEEN MODIFIED. SO I TOOK DOWN SOME OF THE DETAILS OFF. The area of his pants that the pointed to ammunition no child should be looking at because underneath those jeans in that body area are private parts. Are unil freakin kidding me? YOU WORK WITH MINORS AND THIS IS NOT OK. MAYBE I SHOULD GET AN ATTORNEY AND GO AFTER YOU AMIR MY DAUGHTER IS DISTRAUGHT OVER THIS. NOW SHE FEELS AFRAID TO GO IN THE CAR WITH ANOTHER MALE DRIVER AT HER NEXT DRIVING SCHOOL. THEY SAID THEY WOULD REFUND THE MONEY BUT THEY ONLY REFUNDED ONE LESSON THAT WAS USED. ONE LESSON THAT WASNT USED. AND ONE LESSON WAS USED THAT WAS PAID FOR AND NOT REFUNDED AS PROMISED. Any parent would be very upset and write a review like this. This is our personal experience and we have a right to post it here on yelp. If you don't like that it is negative then don't do things like this.

I am 16 and I handle all of my own things, due to this I picked the cheapest I could find. The minute I went into his car he began flaunting his previous student's parent job. Then said that I was obviously not very well off, from the appearance of my apartments. Very rude and disrespectful, treated me as if I cannot understand English even though he has a thick accent (which I don't care because Spanish was my first language). I voiced my concerns about 6 1 hour session instead of 3 2 hour sessions but he doesn't accommodate. I paid in cash, he then denied receiving half of my payment (200) although I had paid it all by that point. Honestly he is veryyyyy unprofessional and the "laws" he teaches are outdated or I don't even know where he gets them from. He gets very catty, has a disrespectful tone, and is overall not a good instructor not person. Unfortunately I am not able to pay for 2 different schools so I am stuck with him until my driving test.

The Principal Mrs Morrow is outstanding, she really has a love for the Lord and a love for every kid there. The teachers from Preschool to 2nd (so far) have been absolutely lovely. They truly take interest in teaching the kids academically, but also responsibility, respect and faith which are all as important if not more so I believe. If you are curious, I would honestly suggest scheduling a visit. We toured several schools before deciding to go here, and I have to say that there was definitely something special about this place. Bethany Christian School is a unique and wonderful community. The staff and teachers approach their job with a level of professionalism and organization that I didn't see at the other preschools I toured. It's very "buttoned-up", well-kept, and bright, and that all sets a tone that education is important. It's also a FUN place to learn. You couldn't ask for a better playground, and tables outside are set up with Brio blocks and various hands-on toys. The best part about Bethany is how the students are taught about God. The teachers there all care very much about communicating to students, in age-appropriate stories and concepts, about how much God loves them. My daughter's class, for instance, focuses on a different fruit of the spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, etc.) each month. I like that this genuine desire for kids to know Jesus, seems to infuse every aspect of the day, rather than it feeling cheesy or obligatory. We live nearby, but I noticed in the student directory, there are families as far away as Oxnard and Malibu who drive out to Thousand Oaks to send their children to Bethany, and I can see why. A family member of mine (freshman) was sexually assaulted by other students (sophomores), and the incident was reported to the principal and another faculty member in person and through email. There was no follow up until my brother emailed the staff member who "handled" the situation himself, to which she responded that the problem was essentially "taken care of." Not only is that subjective (and in no way truly centers the comfort the victim), it is false. My [family member] received no confirmation of his bullies' consequence and was forced to believe that the issue was resolved. The fact that there was no further discussion/ investigation involving the parents is SO weird. Definitely felt like a coverup so that the schools in the Conejo valley could keep masquerading as safe spaces despite the many offenses of racism, sexual harassment, and bullying that happen way too frequently. You guys disgust me. YOU DONT CARE ABOUT OUR CHILDREN. The entire administration needs to be replaced with people dedicated to protecting our children and setting them up for success.
