After 30 minutes of browsing, I told my family that it was only 9:30, and this was already one of the best days we have ever had, and they agreed. (Plus a lovely employee overhead and appreciated the comment. That was nice!) The store is very warm, inviting, and meticulously maintained. Everything is in perfect order, and there wasn't a speck of dust. You can tell that they take great pride in their store. During the hour and a half we spent here, I overheard the employees providing excellent customer service many times, and they knew quite a number of customers by name. As first time, non-local customers, we were warmly greeted, and had wonderful conversations with several employees. The one that stands out the most is the woman at the checkout. I unfortunately did not catch her name, but she was amazing. She even ran out to catch us outside when we accidentally left the tiny kitty glass figurine behind. We enjoyed talking with her, and learning about the history of the store. The very best part is the wide array of beautiful products they offer. We spent 90 minutes delightfully running around the store, constantly saying "Look at this!" "Oh my, you HAVE to come see this!" "This is so perfect!" "Ooooh, this is the most beautiful bracelet/dream catcher/tiny birdhouse/coffee cup (and on and on..) I've ever seen!" I cannot say enough about how amazing their selection is. Mientras hacia mi linea, me llamo la atención de la forma en que tocaba los alimentos de la persona de adelante: los escaneaba y de una forma errática, los tiraba al otro lado para empacar. Cuando me toco mi turno, no puse mucha atención en eso, porque estaba tratando de empaquetar mis productos. Sin embargo, realice una segunda transacción con otros alimentos, y si tuve el tiempo de ver nuevamente la forma en que tiraba los alimentos para el empaque . Esta vez ya había una persona empacando. No fue descortés, pero si un poco grocera la FORMA como tiraba los alimentos que vamos a consumir sin tener el cuidado oportuno. Cuando llegue a casa y al desempacar mis bolsas, pude observar que la tapa de la salsa de espaguetis estaba chancada y por lo tanto se abrió. Si hubiera estado mas calmada la Sra Ellie en pasar los alimentos para el empaque, talvez esto no habría pasado. ..!! Regrese a la tienda y la gerente hizo caso omiso de la queja....no le dio importancia alguna o al menos no me lo hizo saber... Espero que con esta situación, puedan entrenar a su personal a pasar los alimentos de una forma menos errática ya que esos productos pueden dañarse como me sucedió.
