I recently found myself shopping at the Sprouts in Westminster (Store # 301) at 120th and Sheridan. I was very pleasantly surprised how my shopping experience had improved based solely on the very helpful and upbeat employees who assisted me in locating some items and ringing up my purchases. A hearty shout-out to Eric, who took the time to check the back of the store to see if he could find an item which I needed to get the "But One get One for 50% off deal. He was super friendly and very eager to help me. What a nice man...and he found the item I was looking for! Checking out was also quite an enjoyable experience. Brittany was as friendly as they come and very upbeat during the entire checkout process. Her constant smile was quite infectious! As I was leaving the store I happened to run into the store manager, Janelle. I told her what a positive experience I had that day and how helpful her employees were. She clearly was, not only proud of her employees, but was also very proud of her store. She was very engaging during our conversation; hence I asked her to write down the names of the (previously mentioned) employees so I could give them an online shout-out! read more

This is by far my favorite location. Maria is the absolute best. She's such a kind person AND she makes the BEST sandwiches. If she isn't there, we wait to get a sandwich so we can get one from her. The staff is always so kind and helpful and the store has everything we need. They're always so well stocked & have an awesome selection. Have visited this location many times. What made this visit so great was the hidden discounts at the cash register.. saw a great deal on avocados and grabbed two bags! When I got to the register, the bags of avocados were both only 99 cents each with a 50 cent added discount 1.50 for 12 avocados! Wonderful surprise and fabulous value!!!! read more

Don't know if it's just this location, a Colorado thing, or if the chain has gone to pot, but this store consistently has poor produce and they are out of stock on all kinds of items every single time I go in. And the parking lot is like one ginormous pothole. Always an exercise in frustration. And if you like to do curbside, don't do it here. Their in-store shoppers are careless, especially with selecting produce that isn't shriveled or damaged. Please understand that I've been a Sprouts customer in four states, dating back to when it was Henry's (20+ years?). I have always loved it for carrying better quality produce than any other chains, and at much lower prices. I now have virtually no reliable produce sources, which makes me really sad. I'll check out some other locations just in case this store is an outlier, but the prices are now as high or higher than even Whole Foods, and the produce quality is equally bad, so I am not feeling optimistic. read more

12/15/25 around 3 pm. Terrible customer service, none of the workers there even seemed to want to help. As this was my first time going into Sprouts, the customer service was garbage. I was unaware of whatever the hell a PLU number was, and the lady at the register was so rude about not even caring to help me out, and instead thought I was some genius who knew everything about a store for the first time being in there repeatedly telling me she needs the number while I have no clue wtf that is! When she finally decided to help me, she threw my goods in front of me with no care whatsoever and just walked off with no care. There was no welcome or have a good day. This location is a colossal mess. Staffed by rude and/or lazy people. First off, the clearance section is a disaster zone. The price tags don't match the items they're in front of, and some of the items on the clearance rack don't have any prices at all. Then there's a bunch of regular-priced stuff that is deliberately placed with clearance even though it's not on sale at all. And when you complain multiple times to store management, no one cares or does anything to fix it. To make things even more infuriating, every time I visit the produce and other sections are scattered with dozens of 99cent clearance tags... for products that were no longer there! Plenty of staff were loitering about the area. But nobody thought to take down the 99cent tag when the item is sold out/gone? You just want to torture the customers by reminding us of these missed opportunities forever? How hard would it be to just take down the clearance price tag after the item is sold out? You know you're not going to keep it at 99cents once the newer, fresher stock comes in. But you can't take the 2 seconds to just remove the old clearance tags? How lazy and inconsiderate could these people possibly be??? But it gets even worse. Yesterday upon checkout, I told the person I did not want a receipt. Then 30 seconds later... she hands me the receipt. I calmly and politely reminded her, "I said I didn't want a receipt". To which, she got belligerent and rude, snapping back at me with a condescending, "alright already, I didn't hear you", while making a face of disgust as if I'm the one who did something wrong. She could have easily heard me the first time if she hadn't been ignoring me while I was right in front of her. This is a middle-aged woman who should know better than to treat customers this way. The only open one I went up to, the worker that had "head cashier" on her shirt, put her closed sign right in front of me. I would let it go, but it happened TWICE, so I went back. I approached the same cashier and politely asked if I left it with her, she said no. And added, but someone just lost their wallet here an hour ago and I haven't seen that one either (!). Really? Disclaimer: This review is strictly regarding the sandwich station at this Sprouts... I can't tell you how many times my coworkers and I have gotten sandwiches here for lunch. The prices and decency of the sandwiches keep us coming back. The prices are always dependent upon who is making your sandwich that day, however. A sandwich without cheese is $3.99. Cheese is $.50 extra. I always order cheese and sometimes my sandwich is $3.99 (which is great) and sometimes it's $4.49. Hell, sometimes it's even $4.99 - and I've questioned this and been told that pickles are for some reason $.50 extra. Okay- well maybe that should then be clearly stated somewhere. Regardless, Sprouts sandwiches are a very cheap lunch option and are definitely filling. I do wish that they had the option to pay at the deli- or an express lane at this location. If you're trying to get in and out of their quickly, you might get stuck behind some stay at home moms or older folks doing a large amount of shopping around noon on a weekday. Also, Sprouts- you guys should really start a loyalty program or punch card for sandwiches! Tip: also, I hate to say this but I must- keep an eye on who is making your sandwich. My coworkers have had a couple of instances where we have seen some of the deli workers touching their faces or wiping their nose with their disposable gloves still on and then not washing their hands and putting new gloves on. This is disgusting and against any sort of health code. This has happened at this location as well as the one on east 120th near Super Target. We reported this to their store manager and things have seemed to get better. I attribute this to a lack of training as we have only seen some of the newer staff members doing this. All lanes except for one are closed and two female cashiers are moseying around chatting not paying attention so it took a while to find where I could even check out. Then one leaves on a break or something as three or four more people appear right behind me and now there's a long line. Poor customer service from cashier named Heather. Btw, tone of voice is everything in customer service. I spent my younger years as a cashier and a front end supervisor at Home Depot, and it's pretty simple to make people happy as long as you are polite and helpful. I did it without any problems, but this woman got annoyed at me that the sprouts app didn't work. I was shopping the whole store using the coupons I clipped in the app like I always do, but then the app glitched as I tried to give the cashier the barcode to get all the discounts I just shopped based on. With a rude tone she tells me the store has bad reception and there's nothing she can do about it if I can't show her the barcode. I wanted to step out to pop it open but she's looking at me clearly exasperated, as if I'm so annoying that I can't get their app to work that I was already logged into and that it's my fault her coworker left despite them both seeing people line up. Instead of just honoring the discounts with simple price adjustments visible on my phone screen, she just got annoyed at me and said she could do nothing. She apologized afterwards half-heartedly but Still unwilling to do anything. I'll just go back to Whole Foods next door, Target or even Walmart who have happily adjusted prices and treated me respectfully as a customer. I know it's simple to do a price adjustment because I used to do them all the time for customers on all kinds of products. She just didn't want to be helpful and got annoyed at me for her and her coworker's poor management of the situation. I have shopped here once a week for several years and had always been happy until recently. Always great sale prices on Fruits, veggies and meat. But since it was sold to Sprouts the freshness and quality of some meats has went down. So much so that I will no longer purchase any beef or chicken here. 4th time that the meat "spoiled" within 2-3 days of purchase. I called the meat dept this last time to make them aware of the problem. I heart Sprouts.... It was a nice surprise to discover Sprouts in Colorado after just moving from Texas and getting excited about their recent debut there. A bit more expensive than Kroger's (aka King Soopers here) and less so than Whole Foods... Perfect. I appreciate not having only big box stores to choose from and local, farm to store choices. Eating well (aka cleaner and less chemical laden) shouldn't be a difficult endeavor and I appreciate the variety and selection that Sprouts offers. Bulk options exist (nuts, grains, and even chocolate) as well as other yummies: an olive bar, a small deli, meat and fish counter and lots of cool cheese choices. Did I mention the bakery? Two bite brownies!! My only wish would be that their selection of wine and beer was better.... I used to evangelize for this store. Been going for several years. I used to tell people how it was great to find such a pure selection of all natural products at a more reasonable price than Whole Foods. But now I'm going to go to Whole Foods. I've been avoiding going to whole foods. I am our family's shopper and my wife has encouraged me for more than a year to try it to see if the prices are closer than I think. And now there are so many mistakes at sprouts, that are so unbelievably hard to correct, that I literally can't stand it anymore and I'm going somewhere else. During the pandemic I have been using Instacart, so this review may or may not apply to you if you go into the store. I'm not sure. Two orders ago they left multiple food items out of my order. I called. They wanted me to come get them. I told him I live 15-20 minutes away and really don't feel like spending another 30-40 minutes in the car plus waiting time. I asked him to just deduct it from the charges. They couldn't do that. There was no way at all that they could give me any kind of credit, even though I had paid with a credit card, unless I actually came back to the store. So instead of starting to cook dinner I had to drive back or else lose the money. I asked the Instacart person if I could speak to a store manager and he hung up on me. I called back and talked to a store manager who was very apologetic but insisted that the only way to fix it was for me to come back in. So I did. She was polite and she gave me a $25 gift card. I told her I appreciated it. And we all make mistakes. Although an employee hanging up on me was not cool. One order ago produce was completely rotten. Three different things at least. So rotten. Again, there is no way to fix that unless you make calls to the store, get transferred, and drive back. You ask yourself it it's even worth it for $12-14 of rotten produce. The order I did today included food for Christmas Eve. I ordered four lobster tails. Two came. I called the store and the woman at Instacart said to come right in and they would give me another two. She told me she had my bag right there and apologized for not getting it out with the rest of the order. So I head to the store. Even though I ask for the Instacart person I talked to, a different employee came out who works for sprouts and said that she actually couldn't find lobster tails anywhere in my order and wondered if I could produce a receipt. I told her I didn't have a receipt but that I had verified on my sprouts app that the lobster tails were certainly there and I paid for them. She insisted that there was nothing she could do without a receipt because her manager had looked over my order and could not find lobster tails anywhere on it. I told her that was ridiculous. After multiple times of insisting that I produce a receipt, it was clear that they thought I was scamming them. I am sure they get this scam. But for a person who is not scamming them, it was nothing less than phenomenally infuriating. I have no idea why they called me to the store if this is what they were going to do. So I told this employee that they had already delivered two of the four lobster tails. If no lobster tails had been anywhere on the order why would they randomly do that? She couldn't answer and just asked me to show her receipt. I asked one or two more times and then the manager came out. I was unbelievably pissed off by this point. So then the manager asked me for a receipt which I still don't have. If I had my phone I would've showed them the app but I did not have my phone. I thought I was running back for a quick trip. At this point I am angry and let a couple cuss words go. I told them that there is absolutely no way on earth that they cannot pull up my order and verify it themselves. So at this point the employee looks at the manager and says "can I show him?" And the manager says yes. We walk into the office and my order is already up on their computer. So after asking for my receipt over and over, and after me asking them to pull it up on their computer over and over, it had been up on their computer the entire time 5 feet from us. So the store manager starts going through the list, and what appears on the screen? The lobster tails. Unreal. I point to it and they both verify. I get an extremely curt sorry, the employee tells me to wait while she goes to get the lobster tails. I have to be honest here. And this might sound like first-world righteousness or whatever. But it is the truth. At this point I am so infuriated and it is so clear that they were so wrong, and have now made me come into the store!! The entire reason I use Instacart is to stay out of the store! I've been quarantining so that my daughter can come over for Christmas and I had to go into this store which I will never go into again. Sprouts has slowly become my grocery store of choice. They consistently have the best prices on produce. Although they don't have the best quality or selection, (whole foods takes the cake here, but you really do feel like you've been robbed after going in there) they're always putting on great sales. The last time I visited, they had some fresh baked pies for only 3 bucks and they were delicious. This convenient location helps me plan my meals every week. However, they have been dropping the ball lately. I've seen some products marked up to unfair levels and I now have to go to different grocery stores to supplement. read more

I love Sprouts! They have so much of what I want at a great price. The produce prices are amazing, but know that you can't leave things sit for long at home. You need to either be savvy with knowing how to keep it fresh (apple cider vinegar rinse or green bags) or else plan to eat it quickly. But their lamb cuts are amazing and pretty reasonably priced. Chicken is on sale quite often along with vitamins, bulk nuts, fish, beef, pork, and cheeses. Shop the sales and stock up when you can. Enjoy shopping in a friendly place. read more

So, I have been frequenting this particular Sprouts for over a dozen years. This evening I pick up the frozen Southern king crab legs and side dishes for dinner; I had picked up the same King crab legs a few weeks ago and found them delicious. Well there is a reason these were frozen as they were the same crabs legs from a few weeks ago, they had just frozen them to remove the smell. I made all the side dishes and b/c the crabs were frozen, the extent of their rottenness was not revealed until they were fully cooked. DINNER RUINED!. Went back to store before Sprouts closed as I needed to speak to a manager about this; Manager was out to lunch 1/2 hour before they closed. Something smells fishy (beside the spoiled crabs). Cashier credited my account but I had to tell her to remove the other frozen crab from the section as they are going to KILL SOMEONE. I specifically stopped by Sprouts to pick up dinner material for Monday night dinner but still have to run out to Chic-fil-A for a fast solution. I buy, or should I say used to buy, all my meats and seafood here as I was able to rely on their standards and it WAS usually fresh, but their standards have dropped at this store. OK, before we get down to the nitty gritty, I must admit to something: I prefer to call this place "Shprouts" as though I was Frau Bluecher from Young Frankenstein or Augustus Gloop from Willy Wonka. So, to honor this, if you could read the following review with a bad German accent, I'd appreciate it. Thank you. I really liked it. It seems smaller somehow - more cozy than, say, the Sunflower Market on 38th. Their deals on meat are really good, and the deals they've had on cheeses haven't been half bad, either. You can sign up on their website to have the ads either emailed or snail mailed to you, as a tip. Their staff clearly takes a lot of pride in their brand. Please don't make the same mistake I did and assume they're in some sort of partnership with Sunflower Markets.They're not; these guys got their start in Arizona, I believe. I made a remark at checkout and the woman at the register gave me a look like I'd requested that all my groceries get bagged in something non-recyclable. But, like the other reviewers have said, it's a very similar feel. Lots of organic food, well organized, but the store itself is actually kind of unassuming and easy to miss if you're not looking for it. If you find yourself in the area, totally check it out. Sunflowers has a twin? Maybe. Seemed almost identical, including the whole Wednesday sales thing. I was happy, we stocked up on the Prime Cross Rib Roast for $3 a #. What can I say I'm a sucker for prime, it had really nice marbling, and the flavor was great, cooks up just like a chuck roast.
