This store, I LOVE this store. People say it's unclean, gross, unorganized, etc... But no, now this store is better than ever. This store is better than your local King Soopers or Safeway. One day when I was evicted from my apartment due to my roommate eating 420 marijuanas a day! So I went my own way. I ended up at My Indias, when I walked in I was welcomed by the sweet delicious smells and the model like cashier. I went in and bought $4,200 worth of goods in only one hour!! I ran out of all my money that I was to use for my new apartment. So, I decided to live behind the store... Shh! Don't tell them! :D the people are very welcoming and very kind. It's where I met my true love! I love My Indias and their delicious scents. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED STORE!! read more

Cleanliness must be relative, because this place is not "clean and organized" in my books. Sure the front of the store is clean, but for every yard you travel, the store gets messier. I purchased something from the back freezer case (close to the back room) and I couldn't help noticing how filthy it was. Having a messy store may go OK in big cities, but people, this is Colorado, we like things clean. Besides that, the prices are better than Krishna Grocery for identical items and the customer service is exceptional. A man from Pakistan manages the place, and he is very knowledgeable and is available to answer questions you may have. It's a great store to go to if you are new to Indian food and need a helping hand. Again, I have the same recommendation I had for Krishna Grocery. Give the store a fresh coat of paint, mop the floors, wipe down the shelves, heck, hire a feng shui consultant to breathe new life. People spend a lot more money in pleasant surroundings. We regularly buy (or used to!) Rotiland Roti's from My India's (http://www.myindias.com/) in Broomfield. We understand that Rotiland is currently running a promotion where it is selling a pack of rotis for $2.79. However, this retailer is not passing on this promotion price to it's consumers and is infact putting a sticker with "New" written on it, over the special promotion pricing sticker. It's still selling these packs of rotis for $3.49. When I confronted the retailer and showed him the actual price under the "New" sticker which he has put there to hide the actual price, he refused to sell me the rotis at that price. And infact, he was rude enough to tell me that if I am not happy, I am more than welcome to go to some other grocery store! After this incident, I called up a few Indian grocery stores in Denver metro area and they all are carrying the Rotiland roti's at the special promotion price of $2.79 as is advertised on the pack. So beware, as I am not sure what all other products he is selling at a higher price over the actual retail price!!!! And, the store looks nothing like it is shown in the pictures on the web! It is filthy, prices are not marked properly, none of the isles is marked and some items are expired. So beware!! read more

Compared to other Indian grocery stores in the metro area, this one is quite good. The variety of products is fairly comprehensive, and the owner will tell you when he expects a product to be in stock if he's currently out. In the past, the store was often pretty poorly organized, but the owner was running the place by himself; now, his family is here, and with their help, he's been able to organize and clean up. Needless to say, the place looks much better. Overall, this place is a great resource to have in Broomfield! I recommend it. read more

Clean, organized, simple, well-stocked Indian grocery store. They've got a section for fresh veggies (you can get fenugreek and krailay here too!), rice/atta, every spice/lentils you could need/want, an Indian video rental program, but they are limited on their overall selection of brands (minus 1*: they don't carry the Ashoka or the Surati label; it's not like the Indian Grocery stores I have seen in Los Angeles or Toronto, but then again those cities have a larger South Asian populace and hence the demand for variety). High score for their customer service - helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and I even had my groceries carried out for me (without me asking!). Maybe, it was because I spent so much? Maybe, coz unlike Los Angeles or Toronto, the Indian merchandise here was kinda pricey, but still within reason I guess. I'll definetely be back here to stock my kitchen with Indian goods. read more

You drive up and down US 287, you see this shop out the corner of your eye. You ask yourself: should I pick up some Indian things there? I can answer that question for you: probably not. Small and disorganized, the only good selection was spices and pulses. It was not clean, there were full, half-full, and empty boxes everywhere, some of the cluttering the aisles. The only staff was a 14-year-old at the till, which required him to pick from a menu of possible items after he scanned the things you bought. This place is not ready. Go a few miles further to Lafayette and check out the excellent Krishna Groceries. read more

I had to get an "emergency" item recently, and very reluctantly (given my previous experience) went to My India's since it is closest to where I live. Bad choice :-(. The person manning the counter was busy socializing with another customer/acquaintance in the "social" area. "Social area" - they have a couple of chairs in a corner. I ended up buying one item anyway. The attitude of the person helping me check out was deplorable. It felt like I was intruding on his conversation with his buddy. I am over and out on this place. I love going to this store. The people there are really friendly and have given me some great advice. Everything is pretty cheap but of high quality. I prefer to buy all my spices and just about anything I need for my Indian recipes there. The place itself is a bit disorganized but that's to be expected in a such a small, family run shop and I'm always able to find what I need. This is a great Indian Grocery. Well stocked, clean, fresh produce and friendly help. Easy to navigate around store and plenty of accessible parking. Prices are reasonable. I would much rather drive a little further than Boulder to get what my Indain food supplies. read more
