Maybe I'm jaded because I lived in NE Portland for 18 years and in that part of town you have to step over people to enter the store. This store is clean, well stocked, organized and huge! Customer service is always friendly and fast enough. It's a Rite Aid, people! The Beauty section is vast, aisles and aisles stocked with everything you need. They have a great seasonal section and now with spring approaching, they are stocked with faux wicker chairs and tables plus whimsical garden art. Rite Aid always has the best price on my guilty pleasure, Dove dark chocolate miniatures; they run sales all of the time, 2 for $6. Today I bought two bags of the Easter egg shape. Also bought my favorite Revlon last all day lipstick, which actually lasts all day. Buy one get one 50% off. I always wait for these sales. Plenty of parking, drive through Pharmacy, next to Dollar Tree and across from Cedar Hills Crossing - all a plus in my book.

Now it's convenient but often I get frustrated at the pharmacy check out. They ask you so loudly for your DOB. Which is usually one thing that you need to verify a CC. So I hate that. It feels like a privacy violation. It's also super weird to walk in and see shelves just EMPTY everywhere. So bizarre. The pharmacists are actually wonderful though. They CARE about the customer and care that you get the right prescription for the best price. The staff just needs to get on board with protecting people's information.

Planet Fitness is obviously closed so I was walking down from the West Hills, and before I knew it I was coming up to Valaria View Rd. It was at this point that I realized that I needed a men's room. I decided to continue across Barnes Rd and ask if I could use the bathroom @ Rite Aid. I did use to work there so I had a feeling they would allow it. The shopping center seemed to still be under "pretty heavy" construction. Lots of the facades still had the generic white signs on them and there were large gate blockades blocking [sic] the walkway. I walked down to Rite Aid but there was a (solid) metal gate that was down. I am guessing this is because there had been multiple break-ins. I was expecting the store to be open because the CVS that I work at is open. I am hoping that this location hasn't been closed....

I called target to see if they were open and they said yes but still just on hold forever. It states also that my prescription will be ready after they are already closed but still is saying I can pick it up which is untrue because I tried. I am highly disappointed as I literally need antibiotics ASAP an can't get ahold of them so I would definitely pick a different pharmacy if you can!
