The worst of all is Anna, the owner of the pharmacy. She is abusive and even threatened me. I won't disclose exactly what she said for fear of her finding out who I am and retaliating but she was so horrible to me. The only reason why I go to this pharmacy is because I can't get my medication at a reasonable price elsewhere. If it wasn't for their rudeness this place would be great.

When I'm out of the country, I have always been able to count on the pharmacy team to mail my prescription to me, and it's always come through. The pharmacies that I had dealt with in the past haven't always been so consistent, which is why I switched to this one. They also have a couple of the products that I like, such as the Star ucks cold brew coffee and Red Bull orange flavor. This CVS pharmacy gets it right and I appreciate them.

But my appreciation and respect grew exponentially this past week. My medication was ordered differently than it normally is. A small difference, that resulted in intractable migraines. Was in the area and needed to get some items for a baby shower. Noticed one of the employees Niki walk past me twice and it was a little awkward but I didn't pay much attention to it. Once I picked up the items that I needed, I headed towards the front to pay. I walked past Niki (who appeared busy) but then within seconds, I felt someone walking up on me so I turned around to only to see him hurrying behind me. There was another customer in front of me who asked him for help so he went over to them. One second of relief. I went to the counter to pay and Niki was rushing me as if I never purchased anything or couldn't go into my bag to get my wallet. He was rushing me and kept asking me to hit the prompt while watching me get my card out, etc. I told him he doesn't need to rush me and he said he's following the prompt. It costs nothing to be patient and actually pay some attention. I'm extremely disappointed with the service and discrimination at this location. I was followed and provided horrible customer service and know that others who do not look like me don't get the same treatment. This will never be ok!

There are two different entry points from the street & parking garage. Once you get inside up the escalators you go. The store boats the normal Deli, Flowers, Gifts, fresh Seafood/Meat with a farmer's market layout of fresh fruits & veggies. This store also has an internal Starbucks. Amongst the clean & organized store, isles are pretty stocked, at least 10 check out lanes & 8 self-checkout machines. Employees seemed helpful.

And…read moresure, when you're sick or your family members are sick, and it's odd hours, you're not happy to be here. So the entire context doesn't give rise to good vibes. We're not reviewing a beer garden, after all. That said, I've been going here for years and think they get unfairly maligned on yelp. Is it difficult or impossible to get through on the phone? Sure. But that's seems more of a corporate and staffing issue that's not unique to this location. If you show up here in person, you typically see the staff busily working and helping customers. They fills scripts in a timely manner, especially when they're critical (e.g., antibiotics), and especially if you show up and ask nicely. If you need a place with great phone availability, this isn't it. But if you need a pharmacy nearby that seems to work diligently and gets scripts right and with some speed, this usually does the trick.

*** Incompetence and Rudeness at Its Worst ***…read more I had an urgent prescription to fill and called ahead to ensure all four medications were phoned in. Upon arriving at the CVS on Old Georgetown Road in Bethesda, I clearly stated the names of all four prescriptions to the pharmacy tech, who told me to wait 20 minutes and that I'd receive a text when they were ready. When I returned exactly 20 minutes later, they allowed me to bypass the line (which was considerate), but when I checked the bag after paying, I realized they had only filled two out of four prescriptions. Their mistake. I politely asked them to correct their error immediately, as I had already waited, and it was their responsibility to prioritize fixing the issue. Instead of taking accountability, the staff responded with dismissive attitudes, robotic responses, and zero apology, acting as if I was the problem rather than their own incompetence. When I insisted they correct their mistake before assisting new customers, they flat-out refused and told me I'd have to wait another 20 minutes. Why should I be penalized for their failure to do their job correctly the first time? The lack of professionalism, rude and condescending demeanor, and failure to acknowledge their mistake were completely unacceptable. Instead of valuing customers' time and ensuring accuracy, they gaslighted me into feeling like an inconvenience for expecting basic competence. This location is a disaster, and if you have the option, I strongly urge you to avoid it at all costs. This was a time-sensitive situation, and they made it infinitely more stressful with their careless and unprofessional approach. I will never be returning to this CVS, and I highly recommend others take their business elsewhere.
