Highly recommended. Mocktails to start, and then we indulged in the Family Style. I've captioned each dish.

(Expect 45-1h wait time.) not bad as there are a lot of cute shops around. Both me and my partner got the Belmont breakfast. Has a bit of everything ($23) I gave my partner the bread and got his salad. He said the bread was really good. I really enjoyed my salad nice and fresh not sure what kind of leaves was used. First time I see that shape. Back to salad it was light and a little bit sweet. Potatoes are the next best thing on my plate. I like them he spice that was used, I added a but more salt on mine. The breakfast sausage did not give me heartburn... not guaranteeing anything but worth mentioning. I believe they were lighter in oil simply. My partner always trades them for bacon. I only got a half sausage, he had the rest. The last thing I want to mention is less positive. I usally like breakfast beans. Got excited when I saw the black beans. However, really disappointed nothing more than warmed out black beans. Not what I would expect from breakfast beans. I expect a maple or sugar flavour. You can pay $5 to add to your breakfast... mine came with them but I would skip. Unless unflavoured black bean is your thing.

The Long Version: I was sad to see Pomelo Hat at this location close down, but when I saw Taste Junction open up, I had to try it because you know, I like trying new restaurants, lol. Taste Junction serves up burgers, sandwiches and hotdogs. They don't have a fryer so no fries, chicken tenders, etc. My husband and I got a smash burger $10.99 and a BBQ pulled chicken burger $10.99 to share. But I wasn't crazy about the chicken burger and my husband liked both burgers so I ended up eating most of the smash burger whereas he ate most of the BBQ pulled chicken burger. The smash burger came with cheese, caramelized onions, lettuce and tomatoes. I got ketchup and mustard on it. It was nicely smashed, with slightly crispy edges. The flavour was good. It wasn't too salty. I liked that it was a plain bun without seeds. I would get this burger again. The BBQ pulled chicken burger I found too messy to eat because it feel apart easily. It had caramelized onions and lettuce. I added BBQ sauce. The flavour was ok. My husband liked it a lot though. Service was courteous. It was a one man show so there was a bit of a wait for the food but that's understandable. There's not a lot of seating to eat in. Just 4 seats facing the window bar seating style. I guess it's mostly a takeout joint. Street parking only. Review #201 (2025)
