The Long Version: I was sad to see Pomelo Hat at this location close down, but when I saw Taste Junction open up, I had to try it because you know, I like trying new restaurants, lol. They don't have a fryer so no fries, chicken tenders, etc. My husband and I got a smash burger $10.99 and a BBQ pulled chicken burger $10.99 to share. But I wasn't crazy about the chicken burger and my husband liked both burgers so I ended up eating most of the smash burger whereas he ate most of the BBQ pulled chicken burger. The smash burger came with cheese, caramelized onions, lettuce and tomatoes. I got ketchup and mustard on it. It was nicely smashed, with slightly crispy edges. The flavour was good. It wasn't too salty. I liked that it was a plain bun without seeds. I would get this burger again. The BBQ pulled chicken burger I found too messy to eat because it feel apart easily. It had caramelized onions and lettuce. I added BBQ sauce. The flavour was ok. My husband liked it a lot though. Service was courteous.
