[Review based on my experience weeks ago] My friend and I were venturing around the Hamilton area and wanted to get burgers nearby but was told that the wait would have been an hour long so we decided to go elsewhere. We chose this place because we saw through the windows that there were plenty of space and I had a sudden craving for Indian food. We were seated right away but the employees were really busy. We had to catch their attention to order. From thereon, it was a waiting game. It took more than 30 mins for the food to come out but we weren't complaining. Once it came out, I was so ready to eat. The presentations of all these dishes were amazing, I could tell that we may have over-ordered for two people (3 dishes with 2 side naan). Out of the chicken tikka masala, dhal makgni and butter chicken, I found the butter chicken the BEST and my friend also agreed with me. The garlic naan was probably one of my favorite parts of this whole experience. I started regretting ordering it right after because I felt that it was a bit too pricey for naan but that was probably the best naan I have ever had. The garlic added such a strong flavor to it, in a good way, that I wish we ordered more haha. My friend has never had Indian food in Canada and thankfully she was content with her experience. I would love to come back here if in the area!

Big portion of pakora appetizer and nan bread. The thali's were standard sized. Servers were nice, it was cool temp inside and we wore our coats while eating. Flavour was bland 3/10 with the butter chicken tasting like it was cooked in tomato soup. Spice was not happening. totally wanted to try this place based on positive reviews. Sadly I should have read all the reviews more thoroughly as others have given similar feedback previously. So I Update on leftovers: after a few glasses of wine the next day, and little else in the fridge, the leftovers tasted great cold. Perhaps my earlier review was as a bit harsh? Both were honest, but only one included alcohol

One of my favourite Indian places ever. I leave every time thinking about when Ill return. Ive had their curries and biryani and the different naans (love the potato naan!). The only criticism is that food can take a while to come. Otherwise, nothing but good things to say!

Amazing food. Everything was fresh and delicious. Lentil soup was very tasty. Tandoori seafood was very good, little salty though. Lassi was very good. Good and polite customer service.

Delicious and affordable! I love eating here. The food has always been good and is freshly made. This time we had palak paneer, coconut curry lamb and garlic naan. This is also a veggie-friendly place. The service is very prompt and friendly, definitely family run. It's a nice place to go with a medium size group, too, but if you have a large group call ahead for a reservation and they'll suggest a menu for you and have everything ready at the right time. Don't let a limited drink selection and a slightly odd shared entrance keep you away, the food is great! Also good for takeout.

The food was terrible. At least certainly not good Indian food. The vegetarian offering was specially bad.

It's savoury, very flavourful, well prepared, and nicely presented. On this visit, our group sat on their spacious patio, recently opened for the season. Our evening started with cocktails and live entertainment. Refreshing. Great start! That was followed by their delicious appetizers and mains, all beautifully presented. * Pani Puri * Vegetable Tandoori Momo * Vegetable Steamed Momo * Chilli Chicken Momo * Wai Wai Sadeko * Dragon Chicken * Chilli Paneer * Chilli Chicken * Sekuwa Chicken * Vegetable Chow Mein * Vegetable Thakali Thali * Mutton Thakali Thali Our choices included veg and non-veg selections and we enjoyed every bite. Everything was flavourful and more than satisfying. Delicious! For special events, they have private banquet facilities on the lower level that can accommodate up to 150ppl. The servers are wearing traditional garments and there is beautiful artwork on the walls . Friday - Sunday they even have live music. They have a large space in the restaurant for parties and events. After speaking with the owner, I found the upstairs event space can accommodate 50 patrons and the downstairs hall can host 200! Wow. Now onto the exciting part; The food. We ordered a couple different dishes and shared Dahi Puri Chicken Choyela Chicken Steam Momo's Chicken Chow Mein Thakali Set - Mutton Paratha I'm a huge Dahi Puri lover. This version blew me away... The flavor profile was perfection. ( My friend LOVED this dish as well. ) Next up were the Momo's. They're known for their Momo's. I do prefer a steamed Momo, so we went with steamed chicken. The portion size was quite large and the dipping sauce paired well; they had so much flavor. The next appetizer dish was one I have never had before; Chicken Choyela. I generally don't enjoy crunchy / textured foods but my friend quite enjoyed the puffed rice addition of this dish. The chicken had a unique flavor, unlike anything I've had before. It was solid. Their Chow Mein is another dish that they're known for. I seem to prefer noodles over rice these days. (But, I'm generally disappointed with most places noodles.) These were SUPERB! They had a smoky flavor to them and were a 10/10. I've had Thali but never a Thakali. While similar, they are different; We chose the mutton option. This dish was incredibly tender and bursting with flavors. Dish after dish impressed us. This spot hits all the right notes and is a definite must visit if you're in the area. My friend was so impressed, he's already planning his next visit!

We had the chicken 65 (medium), butter chicken (medium), pea pulau, garlic naan and strawberry lassi. Everything was super fresh and huge portions. We took home at least half of the meal. The chicken 65 was what I would consider an "American medium" spice level; not super hot but had a little kick. The butter chicken wasn't spicy at all but was rich and creamy. The rice was a good surprise, it had a buttery/garlicky flavor of its own and wasn't at all bland. The garlic naan was thin and very garlicky, so it won't fill you up too fast. The lassi was really good, the owner makes the yogurt from scratch and they had about a dozen flavors you could choose from. I suspect it is hard to go wrong. We are only in town one week a year but I look forward to keeping Rosie's in our rotation. The service is excellent and the price for all we ordered was about $65 before tip, which since we got a couple more meals out of it was quite reasonable. Check them out, I doubt you will be disappointed!

They also serve Hakka cuisine which is best described as Indo-Chinese infused flavors. We did not try any of those items, but we will try definitely next time. We came looking for butter chicken! My daughter's absolute favorite. She really enjoyed the succulent, white meat, floating in savory buttery, tomato creamy curry. Delicious! She sopped up the curry with garlic naan. Which was garlicky, fluffy and buttery and melt in your mouth. Both solid 5/5. We took an extra order of butter chicken home to our close friend. He's going to love it! We ordered the saag paneer (cooked spinach with pieces of cheese), vegetarian. 4/5 in flavor but could be less oily. Order a piece of naan to sop it up! We ordered the chicken biryani. 3/5. Not as flavorful as I hoped. On the bland side although we ordered medium heat, and it needed a touch more salt (which can be added at the table, so no biggie). Contained juicy pieces of dark meat chicken (it looked like dark meat) that appear to have curry on it, which made the rice portion soggy when mixed together with the rice. Also, a little too oily at the bottom. It just wasn't the biryani that I'm used to eating. Usually the curry in biryani cannot be detected, as it gets infused into the steamed rice and the meat pieces are drier. So- so biryani, in my opinion. Excellent biryani is hard to find in Indian restaurants as a whole. We started our meal with two different lassi, traditional yougurt drinks. The salt-pepper lassi (savory) 4/5 in taste, and the mango lassi (sweet, think of it as a milkshake), 5/5 per my daughter. Appetizer of fish pakora, with mint and tamarind chutney. Hearty pieces of fish, nicely prepared 5/5. All in all, the food here is a solid 4/5. Freshly prepared. They could use less oil in some of the dishes. We ordered medium, which was really more of a mild in my opinion. The portion sizes are hearty. The owners, who served us, were extra generous with us because we ordered a lot. Plus we ordered extra to take home. The prices are high as compared to other local Indian restaurants. Yet, you get a lot for what you pay. Just be prepared to spend more money in this restaurant. They do not have a buffet at this time. They are considering adding a buffet option once the summer approaches. Perhaps they expect more customers due to increased tourism. After all, it is Niagara Falls! Located in the Pine plaza (strip mall) in Niagara Falls, New York. Easy to find and plenty of parking. A few miles drive to the actual American Falls if you're a tourist. The owners work hard to please you and are very attentive, friendly and personable. Service is no doubt 5/5. Warm-hearted folks. Family run business. The restaurant is clean and bright and inviting. The food is served in little copper bowls- the presentation is lovely. Nice touch, we took notice and appreciated it. We will be back for sure!

They have a very extensive menu with plenty of options. We ordered steamed chicken momo, chicken curry, mutton thali, sha baley, and kurkure momo. Total after fees and tip was $125. It's a lot of food. We weren't able to finish it all. The steamed momo was very good. That was probably the favorite. However the choice for filling of the momos is limited. You only have chicken or veggie. Seeing order photos of menus from two years ago they used to offer beef Himalayan momos. The chicken curry was very filling! But it made a bit of a mess. Packaging could be improved. The mutton thali was well received. The components were packaged separately. So some assembly is required. The yogurt is sweet. The kurkure momo was very crispy and fresh. But all of the sauces (3 or 4) included were spicy. I would have liked a mild option. It's a little too dry to eat without a sauce. The sha baley is a bit like an empanada. It was very good. They're quite big. I'd say each one was the size of my hand. Very filling. They came in a paper bag. It's pretty tasty food with a good value!
