This is probably the most unprofessional run office I have ever experienced in my lifetime . I so wish I had read these reviews before hand. I stupidly had them perform a major operation of removal of my lower teeth and to be fitted for lower denture. I wish I had never ever walked in to the office. Every visit there, was as mission from making appt with receptionist to the dentist named Sarah with the worst chair side manor ever. Personality of wet dish rag, to oral surgeon I believe was either mentally off or under a substance. Thank God the he disappeared with a one day notice. The surgeon Dr Stewart that did the procedure was excellent. So I sure he wont be there long at all. All the while telling myself it was me due to the seriousness of my procedure I tried to minimize my apprehension and my questions not being addressed to my nervousness. When I tried to get my ill fitting denture hard aligned and told it could be done at time of apt when I explicitly explained what I needed. I rearranged my work ,my dinner menu, my family scedule to get to office and be told it couldn't happen that day and I would have to take another day off I had melt down. These people have no idea at all what a patient goes thru to make that appt. Whether changing work , family schedules, dinner menu and emotional state .[ in my case have all my lower teeth removed.] They are a conveyor belt type business. Do not expect any personalized treatment or professional experience. They are totally clueless. Have no any understanding of patient relationship or treatment of any kind. Even the staff is on rotation different staff on different days. So you never get same treatment, same answers. or procedure explanation. No consistency on any shape or level. DO NOT TAKE A CHANCE WITH THIS CONVEYOR BELT ORGANIZATION THAT HAS SHOWN UP ALL OVER SOUTH FLORIDA.. 6/9/16 Update: I received a bill in mail that after my last horrendous visit to the Dental Office from hell. They had the audacity to try and bill my ins company $164.00 for the visit where absolutely nothing was done. My ins. company Thank God rejected payment. If this doesn't exactly prove my point about total unprofessionalism. They will do what ever for the dollar and have no idea about customer service. It's just mind blowing how they work. I am not much of a yelper-- only when I am exceptionally satisfied. From the very beginning smiles at the front desk, to Martha, the incredibly talented dental assistant and Dr. Daneshpajouh... who by the way... total looker! Don't do it. They abuse your lack of dental knowledge, give you services you don't need and pay extra for, and skimp on the drugs you need to deal with pain they inflicted. And when they finally treat you, they don't numb you enough... I was crying hard during the service I was in so much pain. That doc is not employed there anymore, but they are extremely disorganized and made me come 3 times (after he left) without getting anything done. Ended up going to my old dentist an hour away to get the work finished. And when they do know what you need, they make you wait for weeks to get treatment while you're in pain. Don't go. Don't do it. I have Plenty more to say, very bad, but this is bad enough. They have Some nice staff, some of you are very nice, but your employer is terrible. read more

This is by far the worst service you will receive. Jameisha and Terra Crockett were extremely rude. Please read the reviews. It's 2 star for some reason. Not only did they lie to me. And tell me that Dr. Shreek would not see me. Because I was late. They said he was in surgery but I clearly saw the doctor not in surgery. It's disappointing when you have a large family going to the office, and paying on time. And this is the horrible service you receive. On top of this Terra was asking me for private information out loud, instead of having it written aren't there hippa laws to be concerned with. I just wanted an estimate for oral surgery for my son. My overall experience at Sage Dental was smooth and easy. I called in about a wisdom tooth cracked and they booked me for next day. I came in and was seated within 5 min. I explained I had a broken wisdom tooth and they did not fret. Gave me an x-ray and set up an appointment to meet the oral surgeon the following day for a consultation. Being that I wanted all 4 teeth removed they took it a step further and booked the procedure for that same Thursday. Overall they were quick and easy. Very pleasant. Dr.Seider was superb! This afternoon I entered the Pompano Beach office for my 3:00 pm appointment. I was told that because I did not confirm my appointment "my time" was given away. I was additionally told that my appointment was at 2:00 pm. I have an email sent on August 9th showing my appointment WAS scheduled for 3:00 pm. I also text message reminders sent on August 9th showing my appointment at 3:00 pm and a subsequent message sent August 16th suggesting my appointment was for 2:00 pm. Interesting my appointment time can change with out notice. I was turned away rather rudely by BOTH women at the front desk. However, the primary concern is the fact I did NOT receive a receipt after paying my balance in cash. I recall the woman placed the money on the desk and not in a cash drawer. Do not I repeat Do not! The worst experience I ever had at a d nits and I've been to several. I have a permanent crown that took 2 months to do which is unheard of and it was placed in crooked and was not aligned with my other teth...sooo disappointed. By the way the temporaries I had was awful as well except one that was done by a young Hispanic lady which did a better job than the doctor and his assistant. read more

Been going here for years, Had root canal today temp crown, I cant express how great the Doctors are! and caring, the staff are just as wonderful, I am surprised to read some of comments on here, I have never had one bad experience. The worst place I've ever been! First visit they gave me a quote where it is write all the job that they had to do and they told me that for extractions I did not pay nothing (as write on the sheet). A few months later I decided to start treatment, whit an extraction. I take the appointment, I wait 1 hour before to be called and they told me that I had to pay 170$ for the extraction. I asked for an explanation but they only told me probably are wrong to write the quote and I decided to go ahead anyway because I was beginning to have pain the tooth. I have removed the tooth, they gave me bandages, medications, ice and they told me that if I still had pain after two days to call and immediately return. Now it is coming the funny part: I removed the tooth Thursday, Friday seems to be going much better, but by Saturday afternoon I started having severe pain. Sunday I decided to call because I was very painful and Monday was a holiday (7/4). I call the number and I select the button for emergencies, at this point the recorded voice begins to tens extension numbers not associated with the name of the doctor. THEY DID NOT GIVE ME THE CORRECT EXTENSION NUMBER TO CONTACT IN EMERGENCY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I try to enter a few extension number, I spoke with 1 doctor that tried to contact the Pompano Beach office (but without success) and send an email to the manager with my number; but I do not have received any call from them so I went to a private doctor that he prescribed me antibiotics due to an infection (paid 109$!!!!) The following week I called SAGE, I explained the problem and was told that surely the manager would call me to solve the problem (since they admitted it was their fault), but now it's been a month and I do not think that aspect it never will read more

Today I had the WORST experience in all my 55 years!I Had apt to get tooth extracted at noon Monday the 21rst.I got there and was told that I was not scheduled for an extraction(That it was only in computer as possible extraction)I then asked what else would I be there for? This was on the planned pricing agenda with about 5k of other services that we had planned to do at my dec 4 th apt.Then I was told That they could do at 2:00 But first pay up front in full before I left?Then the Dr would do the extraction when I got back?So I left and came back 1 hour later and was prepped for extraction(3 very painful shots of Novocain)and then the dentist was confused over whether or not I needed an oral surgeon.She thenleft the room(with no explanation or even a goodbye) and the assistant came in and said that they would not do the procedure because of the confusion of whether or not I was going to be put under?I then replied that I was only asking if I was going to be put under?I Asked if they would continue the procedure since I drove 400 miles from my job to get there today. They would not do procedure and Dr would not even come out of her hiding place and explain to me exactly why?I feel like I was treated like a second class citizen( because I don't have insurance) and they really didn't want to waste there time on me.Little do they know I put aside the money needed to fix my teeth And am glad I did not throw it away at Sage Dental! read more

They only care about the money not about you or the health of your teeth. I wish there were a ZERO!!! They are not even willing to show you proof of cavities or dental worth to be done.They are only interested in trying to give you root canals, implants and totally brush off the dental work that really needs to be done. This place should be closed down. After a second opinion, everything that they suggested worth thousands of dollar (after selling me a VIP Insurance package) was not even true. Dr Denish is brilliant and friendly, Claudia is wonderful at periodontal cleanings and Jacob at the front desk has gone above and beyond when it comes to calling in a prescription or working out an issue! Had a traumatic experience breaking one of my front teeth. When I went in to see the doctor (Dr. Ma) she was kind and gentle and explained everything to me- set me up with a specialist (Dr. DeLuca). The office staff were very sensitive and caring and really helped me through the process. Not just the dentists but the front desk staff and techs. They made sure I understood everything, worked with my insurance and were very knowledgeable. The biggest thing was that they really cared for me - I was very upset. I had surgery with Dr. DeLuca and he was excellent. The office manager has been prompt, helpful and sincerely kind. A good experience in a not so great dental emergency. read more

Found this place out of necesity last week when a toothache began,i knew it was a matter of time but i went to this so called Gentle Dental and was taking in after i had scheduled an appointment. Place is impersonal like a mechanic shop...only person worth anything is Brittany receptionist..besides that i told i had a tooth ache ...was taken in when someone says to me that i would need a bridge,implants in the future ..excuse me i am in pain and need an extraction how about one thing at a time no they want to hook you as soon as they can before your anxiousness to sign up is gone....signed up for the so called VIP plan turns out only good at Gentle Dental and they have over inflated prices. They take advantage of the fact that at that moment i was in pain and needed help...anyways was sent home to take antibiotics and wait till today Wed 12th...was called and emailed and texted all week to confirm appt.even today at 820 am was called to confirm took the day off work to go but at 9 am was called to say that Dr Scott was unable to see me until next week. Are you kidding me? I took a day off to do this and now you are unable or do not want to see me...because i opted out of your VIP plan scam...thats why ...Had left a $100 deposit had to go there swipe my card ..and get my xrays which because i opted out they charged me $50 for the visit ....they did not do anything but write a prescription for antibiotic....anyways if you want an assembly line type place and willing to pay their inflated prices and impersonal service then this is the place....Cold when you walk in they look and see $$$$ signs not a client.....so go at your own risk and get a dental insurance DO NOT GET THAT SO CALLED.VIP PLAN...BS.....stay away unprofesional place. I wish I had read the reviews before going here. Treated very insultingly, told my teeth were in bad shape, accused of not taking care of my teeth and wanting an additional $400.00 for "deep cleaning" I didn't need. I got a professional second opinion from a reputable dentist and was told I just needed a PROPER cleaning. I will report this to the American Dental Association. Now to try to get a partial refund on work I paid for that wasn't done. read more

Horrible services! I got a crown done there and went back several times telling them that my gum was hurting and something was wrong, however they denied that there was anything wrong with it. Now I need a new crown and they will not replace it unless I pay for a new one. The manager at the office can not make any decisions and the corporate manager Tony will never return any calls. There was also a time that they called asking me to go in earlier for my appointment and I did, unfortunately they forgot to tell the hygienist who was not there, therefore I waited over 45 minutes to be seen. I arrived for my appointment today at 9:45 for 10:00 appointment. I waited for 45 minutes in the waiting room with no explanation. When I did finally go to the exam room, Martha, the assistant told me that since I have PPO insurance the manager should have told me to bring my X-rays from my previous dentist conducted over a year and a half ago (January 2015) before arriving for my appointment. They were not able to conduct an exam unless I paid for the X-rays out of pocket. The receptionists (4 sitting around doing nothing) were dismissive and rude. One word... HORRIBLE. I went in for a check up/cleaning for $69 as advertised on a flyer I received in the mail. After sitting in a stiff chair getting x rayed for what seemed like an hour, a dentist finally walks in (Dr. Dinesh) and immediately starts prodding at my teeth with what she referred to as the "sticky thingy" (I'm sorry, but is that a medical term?) After spending 2 minutes with me she informs me that I'm in need of some dental work. Of course I begin to question her regarding the matter and she mentions that I can get a second opinion if I'd like. She then says in a rude tone "nice to meet you" and walks out leaving the polite and friendly patient coordinator named Oscar to do the rest of the work. As I'm attempting to pay and leave quickly after such a terrible experience, the woman is having computer issues and says she will be back in a half a minute (never saw her again) Instead, one of the doctors comes out and takes my card and begins swiping it multiple times while saying "I don't know what I'm doing, I don't know how this thing works" Uh, then can you please stop running my card and leave it up to the people trained to do it who work at your front desk? Yeah thanks. Overall it was an uncomfortable experience and mismanaged/disorganized. I don't know about you, but I would rather get my dental work from somebody who knows the medical term for the "sticky thingy" or who can figure out a basic credit card machine. read more

I only wanted a regular cleaning and was told I could only get a deep cleaning for the price of $294.00. I chose this dentist because it's relatively close to my job and they accept my insurance. When I went there a year ago for a regular cleaning, I was told that I was getting close to having periodontal disease. They gave me the option of getting a "deep cleaning" instead of the regular cleaning. They got me and I chose the deep cleaning thinking that I really needed it. I had to pay $70 out of pocket. Months later, I found out another employee at my company also went to this same dental group and was told the same thing about needing a deep cleaning. I scheduled an appointment to go back there for a regular cleaning and they won't do it. They told me I had to do the deep cleaning because that's the cleanign plan I'm on since that's what I got the last time. They care nothing about their patients and just want to make money. Stay away from dentists like this. If you google "Gentle Dental Group scam", numerous complaints will come up about this company. Then google "Gentle Dentle Group deep cleaning" and you'll see that other people have complained about the same thing. read more
